4 - "Everyone deserves a second chance, now and then." Stars!

The Homecoming is my first book by Lily Everett, and I loved reading each of the novellas contained within. Each novella focuses on one of the Harrington brothers, and their reasons for visiting Sanctuary Island -

The Firefly Cafe

Dylan Harrington - Bad Boy Billionaire is looking to escape from the public eye, to take stock of his life and make some decisions.

Dylan was tired of the life he’d chosen, the reputation he’d deliberately cultivated.

What he doesn't expect is too meet and be utterly captivated by the caretaker of his grandparent’s holiday home. Penny Little and her son Matthew judge him for who he is and not what he can do for them, not knowing who he really is helps with that of course... Will Penny take a chance on love when she finds out the truth?

The Summer Cottage

Logan Harrington - Brooding Billionaire Genius arrives on Sanctuary Island, exhausted and on the verge of collapse due to overwork. Having been forced to take a break by his mysterious Personal Assistant Jessica ‘Tink Bell, he is less than a willing patient, and makes her a deal in exchange for staying on the island to recuperate.

”Every day I waste on this island, you answer one personal question.”

Will the workaholic and the woman who has had her fingers burned by interoffice romance in the past take a chance on each other?

Island Road

Miles Harrington - Mr. Billionaire CEO has spent his life trying to keep his family together since the loss of their parents, albeit in a cold and somewhat distanced way. Miles has arrived in Sanctuary too try and work out what has happened to his brothers, both of whom have never shown any interest in love or settling down in the past.

Greta Hackley has spent her entire life stuck on Sanctuary, and Miles offers her the chance to experience carefree fun and adventure, albeit initially with ulterior motives.

She made everything feel new again.

Will Mr. Cold and Calculating follow his heart?

Three Brothers, Three Women, Three Superb Novellas.

I loved that we also get a little epilogue for all three couple with the addition of One Year Later at the end of the book. What are you waiting for go grab it!

Also posted at my blog, TBR MOUNTAIN RANGE, with reviews of more books in this series or related to this series.

Previously released as a contemporary e-book novella series called THE BILLIONAIRE BROTHERS, about three wealthy brothers finding their soul-mates, these three stories, as well as a catch-up conclusion, are now available in print or e-book together. Related to the SANCTUARY ISLAND series, fans will enjoy these while waiting for the next novel. Settle in for a great combination of emotional reads that tell a continuing story in this fascinating island of charm.

Three brothers who suffered a loss at a very young age have each made a life for themselves but haven't yet fallen in love. Can a tragedy that forced them to make their own way finally come to a closure that will bind them as a family forever?

THE FIREFLY CAFÉ novella...

Dylan Harrington is known as the "Billionaire Bad Boy," the youngest of three brothers who lost their parents before they had a chance to finish their childhood and become successful adults. Dylan has partied his way through life, never quite sure if the women he dates are there for him as a person, or for what his wealth can provide them. Does anyone, including Dylan, know who he really is without the money as a façade?

Dylan is about to find out when he accidentally becomes a handyman on Sanctuary Island for Penny Little, a single mom and waitress at the Firefly Café. Penny is also the caretaker of Dylan's grandparents' vacation home, where she and her young son live. Can the wealthy bad boy keep his identity secret while he learns what it's like to be known for his abilities and personality, or will he seem like a schemer to this recovering divorcee?

A great mistaken identity story, Dylan and Penny's romance in THE FIREFLY CAFÉ includes some heartrending moments.

THE SUMMER COTTAGE novella...

Logan Harrington is the genius in his family and obsessed with his work. When he collapses during a meeting, his oldest brother Miles insists that Logan take a well-deserved and much-needed vacation. Jessica "Tink" Bell has been in charge of Logan for years, hired by Miles to insure that his gifted brother take care of himself.

Can Jessica's professional wall that she has built between her and Logan be brought down when she whisks him off to Sanctuary Island to heal? Logan challenges Jessica in a game of truth, but in the end, how far will they both be willing to go when healing their hearts?

An entertaining friends to lovers story, Jessica and Logan's romance in THE SUMMER COTTAGE is sure to draw a few tears and cheers.

ISLAND ROAD novella...

ISLAND ROAD is the third novella in this connected anthology where each story leads into the next. Greta and Miles meet when the three brothers are in an emotional upheaval over Dylan's recent announcement. Greta is Penny's best friend and determined to make sure that Penny gets the happiness she deserves.

Miles offers Greta just the right escape that the unadventurous business owner has secretly craved, but will both their hearts be left intact when that blissful night is over and Miles is caught up in something he never expects to happen?

An enjoyable instant attraction love story, Miles and Greta's romance is full of valuing self-worth and forgiveness in ISLAND ROAD.

In conclusion, HOMECOMING is an excellent example of how novellas can form the perfect anthology. Each story is chock full of emotion as the full story reveals the brothers' individual survival after the loss of their parents, while almost losing the true value of family. Those who love less explicit stories of romance will appreciate these stories of overcoming obstacles and pre-conceptions for the ultimate gift of love.

I'm not normally a fan of "billionaire" style contemporary romances, but because I love the SANCTUARY ISLAND series of books so much, I was enticed to ignore my preferences and stretch in my reading. I'm so glad I tried this very well-written combination of novellas. It was great to be back on Sanctuary Island with the quirky islanders who make this place so special. If you haven't read any of the books that take place on Sanctuary Island, you won't feel lost by picking this one up first because it's mostly related by location. Hopefully, it will get you to pick up the first two books in the SANCTUARY ISLAND series, SANCTUARY ISLAND and SHORELINE DRIVE, which I highly recommend.

HOMECOMING is a different style of "billionaire" romance and made me realize that not all tropes are created equal. Lily Everett magically weaves heartrending emotion into every book she writes, leaving the reader's heart joyful from the journey. This anthology makes me all the more anxious for the third novel in the SANCTUARY ISLAND series, HEARTBREAK COVE, coming in March 2015.

Firefly Café
The Harrington’s is a name known to everyone, especially to Penny Little and her son Matt. You see not only does Penny work double shifts at the Firefly Café she is the Harrington vacation home on Sanctuary Island, on the coast of Virginia. Part of her responsibility is to make sure everything remains in good running condition as she lives in the home. The home means a lot to the Harrington’s for it was their grandparents.
Imagine her surprise when she opens her front door and the most handsome man she ever saw is standing there. She assumes he has to be the handyman the landlords sent. Well you know what happens when you assume. She starts making cracks about how overly spoiled and rich the family is that they send a handyman to fix these things. Telling him all about how they even have this crazy Bad Boy Billionaire. He introduces himself as just Dylan not wanting to give his full name since he is the Bad Boy Billionaire she is talking about from N.Y. But he is so over that part of his life and ready for a change and doesn’t know how or what to do about it. Just knew this is where he needed to be to start that process.
He likes her and her spunk most of all he this she is beautiful in a non-made up fashion girl everything fake kind of way. He meets her son, not a great first meeting but the second sit down much better. Mother and son conflict comes to a head and Dylan tries to help. Penny thinks Dylan is taking a hand to Matt when really he is teach him how to defend himself. Which worries Dylan and knows there is more to her past he needs to know.
I liked these two as a couple. I liked how Dylan took Matt under his wing and even saw himself in him. They were both growing through this friendship.

The Summer Cottage
What do you do when you are head of the family who are each billionaires by birth and through Miles Harrington oldest brother, Logan (boy genesis), and Dylan the oops baby. Their parents died in a car accident so Miles keeps his eyes out, as in sending Jessica Bell (Tink) to Logan, to keep an eye out for him.
You see since his parent’s death he has had insomnia, he works non-stop in his hi-tech electronics lab that is his families. Which tends to put his health at risk. Because he will go days without sleep or food. Jessica was hired 3 years ago to keep him healthy and from over working himself to death. Logan always complained being managed and tried firing her the first week at least 10 times. She made it clear she worked for the corporation not him. Now after 3 years it just made him laugh for him to say it to her now to get her all riled up. She laughed to though she would boss him around like a child just the get a rise out of him too. He would bach but he would do it. He really liked her but she was an unsolved puzzle to him or at least that is what he told himself.
The day Jessica Bell was hoping would never come came. Logan Harrington collapsed at a conference at which he was speaking. She quickly swooped in and had him packed up and on a private plane to Sanctuary Island. With him baching all the way. She was going to make him rest if it killed him or her whichever came first. She took him straight to his grandparent’s vacation home. She already knew the layout of the home and guest house and new rather than stay in the main house with the caretaker Logan would do better in the guest house. Upon getting there they run right into his younger brother Dylan that he is not that close with. She tells Penny & Dylan they will be staying in the guest house.
This is where emotions between Jessica and Logan come alive and come to a head. As well as Logan coming to a understanding with his past. Not to mention seeing his little brother for the first time as a man brings up some old emotions from when his parents died and he bailed on his little brother when he needed him the most.
I truly enjoyed seeing the transformation of Logan being totally self-absorbed and fearful to a man in touch with emotion. And the all-out emotional connection he feels for and with Jessica. And seeing when he comes to that realization when he figures out he will lose her.

Island Road
Miles Harrington has been the one who has had to hold it all together since his parents passed away. He has felt solely responsible for Logan and Dylan, his two younger brothers. Not to mention his families multimillion dollar corporation and its other holdings.
Including the property his grandparents vacation home on Sanctuary Island. This has now become the sore spot of his being. You see he hasn’t seen or talked to his brother Dylan in a very long while due to their differences. When really they are so much alike. As for Logan he has always been held up in his lab working so they are hardly close but at least agree to disagree about most bad decisions that Dylan makes.
So, when he hears Dylan is getting married to the caretaker of his Grandparents home he takes the helicopter there to talk sense into him. Dylan and Logan want no part of Miles’ advice you see he also finds out Logan is dating Jessica the woman Miles hired to care for Logan so he wouldn’t overwork or become ill which he already thinks she failed at since he fainted at a conference.
Since no one was listening to him and he was being taunted by Penny’s best friend and Maid of Honor, Greta Hackley he decided to stick around. Well, that and the fact that Greta was hotter than hell and when he tried to put her off her mark by kissing her he liked it way too much.
Not only does he need to pump her for the real reason Penny want to marry his little brother but he needs to see why there is such an attractions between them. It really throws him off his mark and it bugs him. The chemistry is off the charts and it is happening with this average girl from Sanctuary when he has been with royalty, super models, etc…
Greta thinks he’s a pompous ass for even thinking of wanting to break up his brother’s wedding plans. She happens to think they are the perfect match for each other and that is before any of them knew who he even was. Now that they do, no one will hold it against him. Her saying that throws Miles off his mark.
I really enjoyed this chemistry because they seem so different even more so then the other two brothers with their girlfriends. They fit and yet their differences make them work because they teach each other about a part of the world they didn’t know or rather understand, teach the other about themselves too, and of each other by their differences too. I give this book 5 stars. You can find us:

This is a compilation of the the three Billionaire Brothers novellas that first introduced us to Sanctuary Island. All three are well written with amazing characters. I highly recommend this one!

The Firefly Cafe: Dylan Harrington (the youngest of the three billionaire brothers with family ties to the island)shows up in Sanctuary to get away from the craziness of his life. Little does he know someone else is living in his grandparents island home. Penny and her son are the caretakers for the property and a bit of a distraction for Dylan when Penny doesn't recognize him. Great story!

The Summer Cottage: Logan Harrington (the middle brother) has pushed himself to the point of exhaustion. The incredibly brilliant one of the family has never felt he fit in anywhere except his lab. Now being forced to take a much needed break, he decides it is time to get to know his personal assistant. Really get to know her. But he doesn't do interpersonal relationships. Ever!

Island Road: Miles Harrington (the eldest Harrington brother) arrives on Sanctuary Island determined to save his brother from making a horrible mistake! When he runs into Greta Hackley, Sanctuary native and protector of Dylan and Penny, he realizes his world may never be the same.

Homecoming was a sweet story. It was a novella trilogy about 3 billionaire brothers coming home and finding their soulmates. Dylan and Penny met in a mix up. She thought he was a handyman not the owner of the house she is caretaker for. Logan and Jessica were a genius who never stopped working and his caretaker who made him come home for a rest. This was sad and happy as they find their way to HEA. Miles and Greta started as a combination of gasoline and fire. He comes to stop Dylan's marriage. She does all she can to stop him ruining her best friend's life. I loved the characters and storylines. It was good to see some conflict between everyone and I sure would like more books from Lily. It is a fast read for those who don't have time to read. Take this book and run with it! I have this book for an honest review for NetGalley.

I really like that this book is three books in one it picks up where the other leaves off and you don't have to worrying about buy another book to finish the story. I love how the author took 3 very strong women and 3 equally strong men and told there stories, but allowed there weakness to show as well. The stories are short but packed with a great story line. I love how each story had its own struggles and yet each story was well enough written you didn't want to put the book down you wanted to see what was going to happen. I would have to say this book is worth the buy 3 great stories for the price of one and they are short reads.

I was given a copy of this book for my honest opinion from Netgalley

This is a collection of three novellas that are intertwined. First, bad boy billionaire Dylan Harrington meets Penny Little, the caretaker for his family home on Sanctuary Island. She thinks he's the handyman and love ensues. Next is genius scientist Logan Harrington, who is brought to the island by his assistant Jessica after he collapses from exhaustion. Logan finally becomes interested in something that isn't an experiment; that would be Jessica. Finally, Miles Harrington, the oldest of the brothers, arrives to stop Dylan from marrying Penny. In the process he meets a force of nature named Greta Hackley. A great summer read!

Each of the three stories were quite similar, and extremely predictable, so it really wasn’t much reading this. I’m even surprised I managed to finish the whole thing. What I did like was the lazy, beautiful vibe of sanctuary island, which reminded me a lot of my hometown .. and also the relationship between the three brothers was a tiny bit interesting.

Homecoming is three novellas about the Harrington brothers finding romance one after another on Sanctuary Island. So knowing right off that they are short stories I shouldn't complain about it. So yeah I would be happier with longer stories. This is the only book that I have read by Lily Everett. I will read more from her in the future.

I like the three brothers. They are not close to each other. They are willing to be better at it.
Dylan Harrington is the youngest. At 8 years old he lost his parents. Then his brothers went off to college and he got sent to his grandparents. His name in press is Bad Boy Billionaire. He is tired of that life and decides to go to his grandparents house on Sanctuary Island. When he is mistaken for the handyman to fix the house he goes for it.

Logan Harrington is brought to Sanctuary Island by his assistant to get better. He is very smart but works all hours. He was 14 when his folks died and decided to enter college then.

Miles Harrington comes to Sanctuary Island to take care of Dylan wanting to get married to a waitress he has only known for three weeks. Miles took over the family business after college.

The woman they are attracted to don't want them for their money. They are strong women who also know how to forgive and love them.

I like Dylan's story the best. I would not climb that high on Empire State building. But would love to fly around New York on helicopter.

The setting is Sanctuary Island is off the state of Virginia. It is very small town feel to it. Also has wild horses on it.
This is a good book if you don't have a lot of time to read. It is a good romance.

I was given this ebook by Net Galley and St. Martin's Press and in return agreed to give honest review of it.

What a fun treat! This was a collection of three novellas that introduces readers to Sanctuary Island. I have already read that three novellas that followed the original three from this book and I have begun the full-length book series (which is fantastic, by the way!) If you are looking for some quick, happily-ever-after...this is the book. Each short story follows one of the Harrington brothers, as they unexpectedly find love on this tiny island off the coast of Virginia. The first story follows the youngest Harrington brother...the bad-boy who finds love with a waitress. I enjoyed this story, but not as much as the second story. Logan and his assistant had some serious fireworks...I would've enjoyed reading an entire story about those two. The final story was about Miles, the oldest brother. This was the story that fell a little flat for me...Greta and Miles just didn't have the chemistry that I enjoy reading about. But as a whole, this is a quick and light read that will brighten your day. I highly recommend diving into this series and then beginning the full-length books. This is a wonderful writer and you won't be sorry.

I received this title from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

***ARC from NetGalley in Exchange for an honest review***

The Billionaire Brothers novella series in one complete anthology. The stories are short and sweet. The most developed one for me was the one featuring Dylan and Penny even if their courtship spanned a matter of weeks before culminating in the "will you marry me?" moment. But I thoroughly enjoyed Logan and Jessica's story because it provided more of a tangible back-story and a lengthier time line for their involvement. Miles and Greta's felt a little rushed to me, spanning what seems to be just a few days. Entertaining though and a definite recommend for the beach

I'm spoiled. I have read so many awesome smut books that I have certain expectations - and this book didn't live up to them. It's nice in the way that has people shaking their heads about how unfair it is that nice guys finish last and yet those same people aren't queuing up to date said nice guys... it has three happily ever afters and lots of broken people healing through love. But there's no real passion, and there's no sex, and since they're all novellas they are forced to wrap up too quickly.

I originally read these novellas when they first came out, loved them then and still love the Billionaire Harrington brothers. Each of the brothers find their true love on Sanctuary Island. Loved the One Year Later, my favorite saying is "This island is special, warm, welcoming, friendly and so beautiful it feels like stepping into a dream". That is how I felt too. while reading this book. Thank you Lily Everett.

This was a great chance to read about all three brothers in just one book. Each novella merged into the next so it was ideal to read them in one book. Dylan, Logan and Miles are all billionaire brothers that have never found love, until they arrive on Sanctuary Island. Very enjoyable contemporary romance, perfect for a lazy summer day.

Light reading, sweet romances, a serene island setting. Three novellas, previously published, with an epilogue added.

Central conflict was how the three brothers each differently handled the sudden deaths of their parents and how that affected their relationships with each other and how they had closed themselves off to developing a loving relationship with a woman.

Genius, Logan finally seduces his assistant on Sanctuary and finds true love. The oldest brother comes out to save his brothers and finds love with the local girl running the hardware store.
