Good basic primer on System Center Configuration Center. The biggest downside is the colossal effort it takes to setup a lab environment and since the book is beginning to be a little dated, the instructions in the book fail. I read the book without a solid testing environment. It still makes sense, but it would have been nice to actually play with the software while reading it.
I like this series of books. The subjects are broken down to small quick lessons which tie the larger concepts together. This is the second Month of Lunches Books I have used and I find them well written and informative.
Very easy to follow and got me up to speed with SCCM very fast. Author provides clear instructions and mixes in the right amount of humor to make this book truly enjoyable to read cover to cover.
