Praise for Blue Ridge : "I enjoyed reading this one :) I wasn't able to stop once I started and was forced to read straight through just to see what happened!!"
"Held my interest. Could not put it down. Very well written. Hope more is coming."
I live in rural Ohio with my husband and our two dogs. I love the woods, my wonderful hubby, and reading (duh!). I've been a romance fan forever, and one day I decided I had to try writing it for myself! I hope you like my work!
The story itself is ok. This reads a lot like a first draft though, especially since Foster's younger brother changed names 3 times in 2 books. Not that the character was like "hey, can you call me this instead?" No, the name from a third person narrator just changed. I just wished there was more with these books so far. More development. Better character development. More development of the relationships between characters. Bigger stakes. And definitely more world building. The Realm definitely could be a cool place, but it just reads like a generic fantasy realm with no adjectives. This book isn't bad, it's just not quite good. I rounded up to 3 stars, but it really gets a 2.5 from me.
