Seal pups grow up in many different ways. They swim but they can also be on land. In this book we find out how seals live and what a day in the life a seal looks like. It might tell us what food they eat what they do for fun and how they interact with other animals. In order to find all that information out you’ll have to read the book!

Classy illustrated book from the Smithsonian, beautiful images and well told.
A decent read, and right for the target audience, but also good for an older audience to read with the youngster, or even read alone.

This book could be used for an animal or environment awareness study or for a writer's workshop around Mother's Day. The story follows seal Pup as he goes through a typical day growing up with the help of his mamma.

This would be a great book to read to students when entering a section on sea animals. I think this book is suitable for children grades 1-2.
