This "thanks to mom" has a wonderful selection of candid black and white animal photos in it which is better than the actual purpose of the book - to thank mom for being the greatest mom ever. While the words are cute and are often related to the animal pictures, they seem a bit generic and blah.
This was a book that was given to me by my oldest daughter many years ago. Every so often I pull it out and read it. A daughter or son letting their mom know how much they are loved with reminders of times spent as a young child with mom. Black and white photos of many animals sharing love with mom. A cute book to remind us that even when we make mistakes raising our children they understand we (moms) are not perfect.
Um livro belíssimo. Emocionante. Profundamente escrito com gratidão a todas as mães que já fizeram tudo e mais por seus filhos. O autor não falha em nos tocar das formas mais profundas que poderíamos imaginar.
This book is wonderful. Every mom needs a copy of this book. It says all the things you wish you could say about loving her and it apologizes for all the worry and time you stole. Each page has a picture of a single animal or baby animals with their mom.
There is nothing better when you are sick in bed and your son gives you a book to read. It makes you feel loved and just a little bit better too! Thanks Bradley I needed this!
This is another one I will not judge. With the same identity as Meaning of Life, the pictures and phrases are adorable, I gave this book for my mom, a gift for Mother's Day and she loved and cried while was reading it. Me too, I must admit. It touches our hearts because shows us the beauty of being and having a mother, in the simplest, cutest and funniest way, with short sentences in every page, but so true and so accurate. The book is basically a huge thanks to mother and I thought that was really really lovely.
Love these little books...the photos are amazing, the little quotes under the photos are inspirational! This one, and Dear Dad: Father, Friend, and Hero are lovely books to read.....a wonderful series, and beautiful gifts..
I got this book from my Grandmother's "estate," or the box of stuff that we got from the nursing home. I'm not sure who gave it to her, but I read the book thinking of my Grandmother and being a Mom myself, and it made me smile. The pictures are cute and the captions are meaningful.
