Querido Papa/ Dear Dad

Since the spring of 2001, millions of people worldwide (1.2 million in the U.S. alone) have shown Mom how much they love her by giving her the remarkable New York Times bestselling book Dear Mom. Now, it's Dad's turn. Perfect for those who struggle to find the right words to tell Dad just how they feel, Dear Dad is a masterful blend of poignant pictures and special thoughts that will convey to Dad how much he means. BTG's witty and whimsical, yet moving, pairing of thoughts and images will effortlessly communicate your appreciation and love for all Dad's efforts over the years. He points out that dads might sometimes be far from perfect, but by embodying the fatherly paradox of strength through gentleness, they are still and always the beloved anchor, safely holding fast to all that "family" means today and in the future. Internationally successful author Bradley Trevor Greive, whose previous seven books have already sold more than 10 million copies worldwide, has again captured magic in book form. With its infectious humor, poetic insights, carefully chosen words, and charming animal photographs, Dear Dad gets straight to the heart of the role fathers play in our lives. Dear Dad is proof that the most truthful, meaningful things are best expressed simply, and with a chuckle.

Stumbled upon this gem in a little free library while taking my dog out for a walk; perfect timing for Father’s Day. A heartwarming read about the quiet strength, sacrifices, and unwavering love of fathers, paired with absolutely adorable wildlife photographs. A short but touching reminder of why fathers are often their daughters’ first 🩷

I love that cute little lion cub wit' his daddy lion on the cover! Cats are cool! This is an extra special book that blends incredibly insightful words accompanying whimsical and humorous animal pictures of all kinds. Lyrical, meaningful thoughts and moving animal photos say all the things that you want to say when you are trying to write down how you feel about dad in that yearly Father's Day card; that when your brain farts and you can't think of a single thing! He says that dads aren't perfect but they are always there to rely on when you need him, a stoic safe sheltering tree, the cornerstone of the family. You Rock, Daddio!! If you are lucky to have one, go give them a call to say I love you! Lolz!

Greive's small, square books, replete with delightful animals, and accompanied by short bits of wisdom, are perfect gifts for special occasions. This one, first published in 2011, is a perennial favourite. A book likely to draw a tear or two from any father who receives it.

Con unas fotografías increíbles sobre la fauna, un texto simple pero significativo de lo que la paternidad significa para quien la ha llegado a apreciar desde la perspectivas de ser hijo.

This is a particularly poignant read! As usual, love the animal photos, and the cute little comments that come with each. This one, as well as Dear Mom Thank You For Everything are well worth a read..a light, relaxing, refreshingly inspirational series of books. Great as gifts also....
