A fable about love, violence, the futility of hatred, and the need to recognize the humanity of the other—even when they are not human.

I think this book is a very nice book to read it has lots of details and really explains what is happening but in this book you cant really just skim through it because you would miss a part and then you would not understand what that chapter is about.

A very weird story but and has many weird names in it. Some that can't even be read.

It is not among the best I've read but I still like it. Though it is not a book I'll read again any thing soon. Not cause it is bad or anything, but it's not like the kind of book I usaully read.

Despite an original variety of dragon on the good side and a very unsatisfactory ending on the bad side, this book was most noteworthy to me for its look at friendship, family ties, enemies, and war.

A story with a moral. What do we really know about our enemies? The plot was interesting, though I think it could have been expanded. And the reader is left with unanswered questions.

I think this is a good kids book. Clean, adventurous, and shows the horror and sadness of war without being graphic. Definitely promotes peacemaking.
