The Customer's Always Wrong

Rate this book
Customers do say the dumbest things, and this hilarious book contains a whole host of crass, stupid and just plain odd requests and queries heard on the high street.

Featuring laugh out loud remarks from coffee shops and supermarkets to bars and bookshops, read safely in the knowledge that you would never make the same embarrassing errors (would you?), as The Customer's Always Wrong illustrates just how silly people can be.

Mildly amusing anecdotes, like the kind you get in Readers' Digest. Nice for light reading.

As someone working in customer service, I felt some of these on a spiritual level...

Leseempfehlung ✔

Mildly amusing

I don't know if all of these stories are true, but if they are then there are a lot of really stupid people around! An amusing little book of you want a bit of light reading.

Entertaining. Cleary just posts from reddit and tumblr re-written in book format to the point where some seems fabricated but as someone who works in retail, I loved reading this at the till and made me feel better about my own job

This is supposed to be a light reading but for some weird reasons (i.e caring for baby and toddler, too exhausted to even read, yada yada yada), I can only finish it in two weeks!

Anyway, the book is a collection of stupid (and unbelievable) things customers are saying all around the world. Sources are mainly from Tumblr and other websites which makes me a bit suspicious of the authenticities of some of the stories since they sounded a bit too ... dumb? I just can't believe they were spoken by 21st century people.

All in all, it's a good humour to read. I really can relate to the section about Computers. Poor those technical support.

Everybody enjoys a witty quick read every now and then and this fits the bill! A collection of short anecdotes of the dumb things people say! It's a must read for anybody who works with the general public or those that always believe that the customer service is rubbish as they need to step back and ask why and this book will answer it!

Extremely funny. I have been in some of these exact situations when I worked at my parents' restaurant. Although, I do not know if people who are unfamiliar with the business industry would find this humorous. I recommend this book to any Business owner.

If you need to know to what extend can human species portray stupidity, then this is a good book to start with.
