The reason bookstores exist is so you can look through this book and not buy it. Damn you, online shopping!

Pictures and quick one liners guide us through Grumpy Cat's advice guide.

While not as funny as the first book, some observations may be considered overdone or even a tad depressing, the book continues the spirit of grumpiness.

Overall, a cute read.

This book is hysterical. I must have looked like a lunatic laughing so hard while reading it in Barnes & Noble. I liked it so much I bought a copy for a friend's birthday. If she doesn't find it as funny as I did I'll take it back to read if ever in a down mood & get her a different book. It is everything parents & teachers taught you not to do as far as socialization. I highly recommend it for anyone that loves cats & loves a good belly laugh.

This book is so cute--especially if you're an extrovert trying to commune with your inner grump.

The book is full of grumpy aphorisms for a life of grumpy failure. My favorite among these was "reading is just like watching t.v. except excruciatingly slow and mind-numbingly boring" (LOL!)

Close runners up include: You can never go home again--because I changed the locks! and Memories warm the heart--especially when they're used as kindling.

The book is also brimming with pictures of Grumpy Cat--and as a cat person, what's not to love?

This book would make an excellent gag gift for any crazy cat person! :)

I love this book and give it 5 stars out of 5 stars. It has a short length, but that does not detract from the type of book it is meant to be. Grumpy Cat is the patron saint and spirit animal of anyone posting a cute photo of their pet to the Internet hoping everyone on the Internet will look at it. Traditional advice with a Grumpy Cat spin that will put a smile on your face - even if you don't ultimately heed this grouch's words of wisdom.

It was really funny, and made me look at negativity a kind of funny way. ( not that it is a good thing to be negative )

HILARIOUS

Grumpy Cat is, truly, grumpier than anybody I know and this little book of Grumpy Cat's observations is truly inspired. And hilarious. And some of it is definitely terribly truthful.

I don't know if I have ever said it in this blog, but I have gone on record as to have said 'I miss Grumpy Cat.' I also miss L'il Bub. Last year, both beloved feline icons died. And it seems like the world has just gone to heck without them.

That's why I am so glad that I found this cute little book devoted to the wit, wisdom and irritation of Grumpy Cat (AKA Tartar Sauce.)

Having crippling social anxiety and Reynaud's Syndrome, I can relate to Grumpy in terms of not desiring to being around people. With the anxiety, I'm just a ticking time bomb of fear. With Reynaud's, my skin hurts all the time and I do not want to be touched. I am just miserable.

So, reading a couple hundred pages of someone else who doesn't like to be bothered really sticks with me.

I also am a cat person. I get along with dogs. But cats are my jam! They can be so chill and relaxing. And as someone who loves books, cats just really seem a better fit when you want to sit and devour a good book.

This book is also filled with dozens of funny and adorable pictures of Grumpy. There's a couple of pics of Grumpy with her sibling Pokey!

If you are looking for a laugh, especially in this time of social distancing, then you must read the writings of the master of wanting to be alone!

Grumpy Cat is adorable! Just don't tell him that!
The Grumpy Cat guide to life brings us more pessimistic observations from the cutest frown we ever saw. He offers advice on everything from friendship, family, nature, and oddly enough, happiness.
Here are a few samples:
If life deals you lemons, throw them at someone.
Set the bar low. Then sit back and watch people trip over it.
Absence makes the heart grow fonder. Of your absence.
Next time you think you've hit rock bottom, give me a call. I'll bring you a shovel so you can keep going.
If a tree falls in the woods, would that still annoy me? and can I convince someone to stand near it before it happens?
Next time your feeling good about how things are going in your life, remember that the dinosaurs were probably feeling that way too, before that meteor fell.
and finally, It's true what they say, you can never go home again. Because I changed the locks!
This book is a quick light hearted read that will bring a smile... er...frown to your face. The reader would like to thank Goodreads first reads give away for the opportunity to read and review this book.

Definitely not as funny as the memes I have seen on Pinterest. Recommend just flipping through it quickly when you are at a bookstore and not purchasing it.

How refreshing to find someone who is not afraid to say what he feels, even though it is all negative. Cute.
