In a world filled with inspirational know-it-alls and quotable blowhards, only one figure is indifferent enough to tell the cranky truth: Grumpy Cat. Following the success of her New York Times bestselling debut, everyone's favorite disgruntled feline is back with this demotivational guide to everyday life, love, friendship, and more. Featuring many new photos of Grumpy Cat's famous frown and packed with uninspiring observations, The Grumpy Guide to Life will help anyone get in touch with their inner grouch.
Grumpy Cat (born April 4, 2012), real name Tardar Sauce, is a female cat and Internet celebrity known for her grumpy facial expression. Her owner Tabatha Bundesen says that her permanently grumpy-looking face is due to feline dwarfism.
Pictures and quick one liners guide us through Grumpy Cat's advice guide.
While not as funny as the first book, some observations may be considered overdone or even a tad depressing, the book continues the spirit of grumpiness.
This book is hysterical. I must have looked like a lunatic laughing so hard while reading it in Barnes & Noble. I liked it so much I bought a copy for a friend's birthday. If she doesn't find it as funny as I did I'll take it back to read if ever in a down mood & get her a different book. It is everything parents & teachers taught you not to do as far as socialization. I highly recommend it for anyone that loves cats & loves a good belly laugh.
This book is so cute--especially if you're an extrovert trying to commune with your inner grump.
The book is full of grumpy aphorisms for a life of grumpy failure. My favorite among these was "reading is just like watching t.v. except excruciatingly slow and mind-numbingly boring" (LOL!)
Close runners up include: You can never go home again--because I changed the locks! and Memories warm the heart--especially when they're used as kindling.
The book is also brimming with pictures of Grumpy Cat--and as a cat person, what's not to love?
This book would make an excellent gag gift for any crazy cat person! :)
Grumpy Cat is actually a female adorable cat named Tardar Sauce who was born with a perpetual frown. My favorite Grumpy Wisdoms from this book include:
I love this book and give it 5 stars out of 5 stars. It has a short length, but that does not detract from the type of book it is meant to be. Grumpy Cat is the patron saint and spirit animal of anyone posting a cute photo of their pet to the Internet hoping everyone on the Internet will look at it. Ok I loved Grumpy Cat while she was around and I still love her alot even though she is gone over the Rainbow Bridge..so this is just a cute and funny little fast reading book if u love cats or even was a fan of Tarder Sauce aka Grumpy Cat..I enjoyed the funny musings and loved all the cool pictures of her and some of her brother Pokey and her dog siblings..she is missed but not forgotten..enjoy
Definitely not as funny as the memes I have seen on Pinterest. Recommend just flipping through it quickly when you are at a bookstore and not purchasing it.
Grumpy Cat is, truly, grumpier than anybody I know and this little book of Grumpy Cat's observations is truly inspired. And hilarious. And some of it is definitely terribly truthful.
