My world fell apart in Cheyenne, but I'm not the kind of girl to give up. I'm here to ride bulls - or at least that's what I keep telling myself. Falling in love wasn't supposed to be a part of this plan.
But while things are getting steamy in the hotels, it's going to hell in the arena. My scores keep getting worse, Austin has a serious hate-on for me, and the bad judging wasn't just a one time deal.
I refuse to be intimidated by fines and implied threats, though. The only things that can keep me down are injuries. Unfortunately, these bulls want their pound of flesh, and this time they're getting it.
And they aren't the only ones doing damage - but the haters were supposed to focus on me! I never thought chasing my dreams would drag anyone else into my mess. Screw 'em - they picked a fight, and now they're gonna get one.
It's time to show the world what it means to "cowgirl up."

Do you hate cowboys? Do you wrinkle your nose when driving past a farm because it smells a little extra fragrant? Do you think women need to stay home and work in the kitchen?
Well, if you do, then this book is not for you. This book will have you wishing for a harem of cowboys problems and all. You'll wish you were in the shoots where the bull stank is only overpowered by the next bull rider's ego. And you'll be ordering take out for yourself and your partner to enjoy. Because no one has time to cook when there's more of Cody's story to learn.
Kitty has done it again. 300000/10 stars. Absolutely fantastic. It is worth the fact that it is currently 6 a.m., and I haven't freaking slept. Worth the eye strain, the headache, the cotton mouth from not drinking enough water. Everything is worth it because hot dang I giggled, I teared up, I gasped, I raged at my phone screen and woke my dogs up. And I cannot wait to do it again. While Kitty works her magic, I'll just go back and read this again until the next one comes out.
Also, I have so much hope for dumdum #1. He makes strong progress in this book even if it takes him a while to get there.
P.s.s. I sincerely hope someone got footage of Austin beating on Cody. Or that Austin tries to ride with a cut rope. Or that who I think is his daddy (oh and wouldn't that be a twist) does something stupid, and they both end up in jail. Or slowly bleeding out from JD inflicted stab wounds. Either works.
Ok, did any other readers feel like cheering at that epilogue? Love the crossover! Seriously, this is such a great series. I don’t tend to be drawn to sports stories as much and usually hockey when I am, but I love how well done this series is written. Don’t get me wrong, the crap Cody gets put through gets me fired up angry, but FOR her, not how it’s written. I seriously wish I had a JD in my life. He’s my absolute favorite! I loved how Dean was more a part of this story too and so supportive. Seriously Kitty, well done!
I absolutely love Cody, J.D., and Tanner but Dean made every dad proud in the book. I started crying when Rhaven and Chase showed up. I absolutely love this world Kitty has created and I can't get enough of it. Hannah and Renato tie them to Violet and her Shades of Trouble, Rhaven and Chase tie her to Gamer Girls. I 💯 support any and all additions to the universe!! Thank you Kitty!!
OMG! Even better! I was crying and cheering and holding my breath! I stayed up all night reading. I just needed to know. Cody! Cody! Cody! 💯❤️ JD🤠🔥💯🥰 Tanner 🐂🔥‼️😍 Daddy Dean 💯💋💖‼️‼️‼️ iykyk this could be movie series. I can't believe I have to wait for book4! 😱
I fell across a review on a fb group where someone posted about the series, Falling for the bull riders. I’m from Calgary Alberta, and have grown up watching the bull riders. I also used to break horses, and falling off a horse is probably feels like falling off a bull. I Had to read the series when I read about her being in a book slump after reading the series because of how good it was. The bull riding resonated with me, being a female trying to be as good as the guys in a male dominated area, just Got me. I used to do the rodeo circuit growing up and so the combination of a girl making it into the PBR, grabbed my attention. I don’t normally write authors but I needed to know if Cody was going to make it to the finals so I searched out your name and came across your website. I felt like I could feel the sensation of lifting off the bull when I read about their rides, I could almost smell the manure/dirt, I felt like I was right there with each of the characters point of views. I really enjoyed the books, I really hope there’s more to the series. I’m so rooting for Cody, I’m rooting for the guys to have the right to come out publicly without backlash. I’m praying it doesn’t end there, I’m so used to horrifying cliffhangers that I’m worried now that the 3rd book was the end of the series because the ending wasn’t bad. It gave me hope there’s more fun and sexy times with Ty, and maybe some with Jake? Truly, I enjoyed the whole series. Thank you Kitty, for allowing us to enjoy your creative mind in a way that makes us forget our own world, and to just live in the moment, or in the words of JD, “Just this bull, just this ride.”
Not sure how much this will help someone decide to read this but I’m just gonna put it out there. This is my second time reading the series through and I just now realized a fourth is coming out. I’m so stoked to read it. Like for real. I had been so disappointed that this was the last book out when I read this series the first time. I seriously love these characters. Kitty Cox writes some seriously good shit. Always love the messages and little nuggets of truth she includes. Sometimes I have a favorite character in a book or series. But geez louise I have so many favorites in this one. Many of them made me cry in the best ways. Read it. You won’t regret it. :)
I hope it wasn't the end, seems like there's still enough open threads for the series to continue, but, it had an epilogue? Don't those only come at the end of the series? *puzzled*
Decided to save the gushing praise that’s just about MY enjoyment of the book til the end of the review, because I read reviews for information, so I’m trying to write my review for other readers.
Third in a series- READ THIS IN ORDER (but my review is pretty much spoiler free, and while some points specifically come up in this book, it’s unlikely to ruin your read)- about our FMC, a professional female bull rider, about standing up to bullying and hazing, even when you didn’t start out for that reason, about enduring, preserving, coming out on top when things are stacked against you. It’s fiction and written for enjoyment, so it doesn’t make us wallow in the hard stuff, but it doesn’t exclude it either. We have bi, pan, trans, lesbian, polyamory. We have found family, rocky relationships, redemption arcs. We have writing I thoroughly enjoy, without the writing being more the point than the story. And we have a minor cliffhanger slash happily for now.
Just finished via KU, about to buy (which I usually prefer not to do until at least the second re-read), and rating 5 stars, which again, I usually don’t do until at least a few rereads, because wanting to reread multiple times is part of my rating system.
Kitty Cox if you see this- THANK YOU so much for releasing this book. Between the delay in this third book and coming across a standalone book by a different author with a few similarities, I was worried this series got dropped for being problematic. I was ridiculously happy to see this pop up in kindle home. I loved seeing some cameos from your other series- flawed especially being another of my favourite books. And since you definitely left room for more story without a vicious cliffhanger, I hope to see more of this story whenever it’s ready.
I think this is my favorite book in the series so far. My watch told me that my heart rate is too high about 3 times in this, which is usually a good sign for a book 😅
Loved the way the book kept me suspended at the edge of my seat but not in an overt the top way. Especially the twist at the very end was awesome.
I love that the FMC sticks to her boundaries and the resulting consequences, plus that we get multiple POVs from involved people. It kind of means we don't know whether she'll end up with some of her love interests and whether a certain someone will redeem himself, which makes this book exciting on multiple levels. And weird enough it's written in a way that I'd be ok with either outcome.
It's also starting to have the found family feel and I think her dad was the cutest thing ever.
I was very worried how this book would turn out after the trauma of book 2. I am happy on how this story turned out between Cody, J.D. and Tanner. There is still a lot of repetitive internal dialogue on why it's ok to be LGBTQ and why she is being hazed and trying to be kicked out of the bull riding sport by horrible men who don't like women. The hero of the book is her daddy Dean, oh I just love him. Jake Cunningham another bull rider was such a good guy and loved what he brought to the story - I cheered him on. Ty redeemed himself and I was very happy how the story went with his character. No cliffhanger and a happily ever after and I seriously loved the ending because I absolutely love when my favorite books collide. Awe! I also hope they grow old together and have the vision of their future the spoke about.
This is the third book in the series and I really enjoyed it!! Cody is trying to recover from the disaster with Ty from the previous weekend. Her goal for this coming competition is to just focus on riding the bulls for 8 seconds. But things don't go to plan! The PBR are increasing their efforts to drive Cody out but she is determined to keep going. I loved how the relationships between Cody, JD and Tanner are developing. Ty is slowly but surely learning from his mistakes and trying to be better. There is hope for him! Also wondering though about Jake! He is featured a lot more in this one and getting curious about how that will play out! Loved the ending to this book! Cody is making waves! Excited for the next one in the series!!
There’s an epilogue, where we got to see Cody get Deviant Games as sponsors. Now, I don’t know if that was the series epilogue because I think I remember seeing somewhere the author said this series would have six books and I think that will be the case since I felt like there were too many loose strings not tied up. Does Jake Cunningham join the harem? Does Ty rejoin? Will there be more guys? Though 3 would be my optimal in this case but that’s just me. What I love about chaos harems is this; we don’t know who will join, they don’t know and we are all starting from scratch! The relationships are all built while we are reading and if the author is a good one then what a ride! So, Ms Cox, in case there are more books in this series, we are here for it, thanks!
The tension is building. Ty has a long way to go to show he has actually learned what he was doing was bad. And there is new potential for someone else to be realizing they want more than a friend in Cody, or maybe not.
The greater conflict with the PBR is coming to a head, as it is becoming clear that this isn't a matter of judges just not seeing Cody's skill.
At the same time, Austin, decides to keep upping his game to harm those who he sees as lesser. It looks like it is going to really come back to bite him from the other riders. They know who is at fault for making the event way more risky for them all.
This latest instalment in this series definitely does not disappoint. Cody is the first female bull rider to take on the PBR and she does it so well even while getting S#$@ done to her in and out of the ring. The guys she has supporting her grows each book. While fighting to be seen as a bull rider and not just a girl, a she is also taking on bigger stigmas. Kitty Cox has done an exceptional job in writing this third book as like her previous two I could not put it down and have become so invested in all the characters I will now impatiently wait for the fourth book.
I absolutely adore this series and the characters. They are so dynamic and engaging.
This book takes place just after the last ends and we see the fallout from that.
I love Cody and she just gets stronger throughout this book it’s amazing. JD is awesome as usually and Tanner is growing and is a great addition to their group.
Side characters in this series also stand out and we see some taking a larger role and it’s wonderful.
I am so excited to see what’s next for this group and can’t wait for the next book!
Falling For The Bull Riders series is absolutely AMAZING!!! I started reading this series not too long ago and have been devouring every book I could get my hands on. The drama and action are amazing! The storyline drags you in and makes it hard to do anything but read. And there is definitely spice as you go along, though that's not the main focus of the books. I couldn't recommend this series enough. I can't wait till the next book comes out because it will be an insta-buy!
Kitty Cox has done it again! Addressing the tough issues while throwing in some spice! I devoured this book and now have a hell of a book hangover. I loved the new POVs, the character growth, and Cody’s grit. I cannot wait to read the next installment.
Cody’s fight is one so many of us women have experienced in some form or another. While I love the men in the book, I am #TeamCody all the way.
I’ve read over 572 books last year and this is my number 1 read. There’s just something special about this series. It draws you into the world of PBR which I knew nothing about before reading this book. I could literally read 10 more with the way the story line is going. I love all her men and her dad is just the best. It says there’s going to be 5 so be prepared! Read it it’s that good!!
This series was one of my favorites last year, and greeting the new year with book 3 just made my whole month. I just enjoy anything Kitty (or Auryn) writes, and this is no exception. I love that this one has a little more grit than the rest, because of the stellar setting in the PBR.
I’m really looking forward to the next one. And I got a little giddy with the ending of this one and the other series tie-in!
This series (and every thing else by kitty cox) is one of my all time favorites. I could gush about this series for pages and pages...but I'll try to be brief. Kitty's writing is magnetic and heartfelt. The characters inspire me to be a better friend, a better ally, a better partner, and a better person. I truly can't recommend this series enough. I never want to finish this book. I would stay here forever with these characters if I could.
A great instalment for the series. The character development is awesome. Love seeing Jake take a bigger role. Keeping all my fingers and toes crossed for Ty 2.0 to be fully back in the group soon. Please please please Kitty don't keep us waiting too long! 🙏🙏🙏
I am loving this series but kinda disappointed that this book centred around 1 weekend. Sure we got many more POVs and relationships grew, but there were many scenes that circled back over what had just happened. Also another could be joining in? How many books are in this series cos Ty is still out of the harem....
As the saying goes girls do it better you mam are showing people can be who they are color gender type it doesn’t matter we all are 1 just need to open our eyes and see that to me Cody’s bull-riding like a badass queen is stating that 5 stars a really must ready series highly recommend all of kitty’s Cox books
This series is taking big swings. It started as an interesting story about a woman who wants to ride bulls and the cowboys who weren’t prepared for her. There is a lot of work around being able to compete in a sport you love without your gender and sexuality being judged. I’m really enjoying the growth of the characters.
I couldn't put it down, it was over too soon. Learning about bull riding was fascinating. Cody is amazing, but the best part is the whole darn story. And Kitty knows how to tell a story and make it matter. Great characters, steamy sexy fun romance heartbreak, and just HEART. you will laugh cry cheer and rage, its just that good
This third book in the very fascinating Falling For The Bull Riders series, was an exciting and enjoyable story about determination against the odds, fighting sexism in a male dominated environment.
Although I enjoyed this book, I kinda felt the ending left things unfinished.
Unfortunately, this series just got worse and worse for me. The concept was initially interesting (yay plot!) but the execution just got worse. Or perhaps I just found the new direction to be uninteresting. At least there was less endless dialogue in this one. Either way, I finished it and that's enough from me. Reread - Nope. Recommendation - No.
This book consumed me. I absolutely love the triangle, which is stretching to become a more unique shape, between the love interests in this series. The drama is what kept me turning the pages, even though the spice is nice. This is not a high-spice book though. I give it 🌶️🌶️🌶️ for spice, but five stars all the way.
Kitty did it again! This was well worth the wait. I love the characters she's created. I can't wait to read more and find out where their story takes them.
Amazing writing! Girls always do it better and this book proves it! I can’t to wait for the next one just wish I found this series when all the books were released so I could read it all together!
