"See every new experience as an opportunity. Don't be hard on yourself. Moreover, don't apologize. Take not just today, but every day, as a learning experience."
I'M SO SAD THIS SERIES IS OVER!! 😭😭😭
I knew I had been super loving it because this is the second time I've read the series (though first time psychically) and seeing the ending all over again was so beautiful! I felt like everything was wrapped up beautifully and I especially loved how Mr. Park had a happy ending because I have appreciated his advice to Youngjun as it has touched me and my own life.
One thing I had forgotten when rereading is how funny the meet-up between in-laws was! Oh my goodness, I laughed so much, especially with how the night ended! Not only that but every time Miso and Yougjun were about to get "lovey-dovey," she would push him away, leading him to get "hurt." LOL!! Definitely one of the best chapters in this volume and one of my favorite "gags" in the series!
Another favorite chapter (well, chapters) was the bonus one and seeing a very special character! He was so adorable and had to laugh at how he viewed Youngjun's antics! I so wish we could see more of him!
Overall, this was a very strong and satisfying ending that left me emotionally happy! It's one I would love to reread again and see their love story unfold once more because it was full of humor, heart, and laughter.
Definitely recommend it if you're looking for an office romance manhwa with a strong mystery arc as well as a shorter series!
How to climb the career ladder - say you want to quit - hmm... So, on the bright side, I liked Miso's character and professionalism at the beginning of the manhwa, vice-president's words and behaviour, I didn't find him as arrogant and unbearable as Miso describes him. The flashbacks show him reprimanding her for her mistakes but I guess it's understandable, her being a secretary to the vice-president and everything it entails. The fact that the author didn't drag on unravelling the mystery of their shared past is also a nice surprise. On the other hand, I found their romance quite whirlwind-like, it takes one 'date' for her to shake the resolution and opinion which was 9 years in the making. In general, I enoyed her words and actions at the beginning but I was more interested in following the vice-president's development as a character.
A nice romance wraps up nicely. There's no plot left for the story, so some simple little obstacles are introduced for a swerve here and there as they race to the finish line.
The main story is actually completed three-quarters of the way through the book, but the remaining "Chapters" are filled out with bonus stories, one that jumps back about nine years when Miso Kim was just starting out as a secretary and one that jumps ahead eight years to give a status update -- a little epilogue to the happily ever after. I enjoyed these sections more than the main story's predictable but pleasing denouement.

How is this the end!?! It was an amazing work of art, until the very end and now it's just done!?! I don't know what to do with my life anymore. I really liked the bonus content in this volume it helped but I still want more.
Unfortunate to say. The last part of this fell off hard. But let’s start from the beginning. The first 4 or so chapters are a hard read. Both main characters felt very stagnant and bitchy. They really got their personality after and it all became just. Like a funny romance story. It was cute. And funny as hell and I laughed so goddamn much. I honestly really liked the. Whole story. The whole kidnapping thing. It was really cool. A good idea and I love some angst. And the chapters that went over their trauma was among some of the best but. After that it really fell off. The two characters never talked about it. They just. “Healed”. And then they were fine. Which is not how it works. I wanted to see them struggle with it. Come to terms. Talk about it a lot. Cry. Drama. It just kinda went like. “Funny funny man does funny silly thing and makes himself look stupid. I saw a woman kill Herself. Oh funny silly man ur so funny and silly”. It just. It’s giving I gave my characters trauma for no reason. AND MY BABY BOY. MY LITTLE MEOW MEOW. THE LOVE OF MY LIFE. The MMC’s brother. He just kinda. Fell off the face of the earth and didn’t get a happy ending. I will never forgive anyone for this because honestly. His story is the most tragic imo. He caused his brother to get kidnapped. He was 9. He was a kid and felt jealous. Kids are dicks. But he felt remorse. He felt guilt for what he did. But he also felt like his parents didn’t love him. And that caused him more guilt. He was a 9 year old child who had to deal with conflicting feelings and didn’t know how to deal with it. He was always alone because he pushed people away and just wanted love. His brain forced him to believe he was kidnapped and not his brother out of guilt and his parents did nothing to help. They tried a little but their feeling of not wanting to look like a broken family overshadowed that and they forced their son to stay like this. He was kept in the dark. Nobody told him. He was lost. Felt like his feelings weren’t his own. Conflicted by different memories. And after he realizes what happens. We have one scene of him saying sorry to the MMC and then he’s never heard from again. I want to give him a hug. I want to pet him and tell him I’ll be there for him. My poor little boy. Because he was right. His parents didn’t love him as much as they loved his brother. And they barely acknowledge or apologize for that. He was 9. This wasn’t his fault. And I’ll stand by that for as long as I live. Looks like we have another Cole situations folks and. It hurts just as bad.
Anyways long story short. Fell off kinda hard but alas. It was fun while it lasted :p
In Summary Our couple has been through all sorts of trials, and they finally arrive at their happy conclusion. And not just them – even Yusik and the members of Miso’s hard-luck family get their own happy ends (although some aspects are a stretch). The last chapters do include some last misunderstandings for tension, but overall it’s an everything-ends-well finale.
The Review It’s obvious from the cover design that Miso and Youngjun tie the knot in this volume. However, the first third of the book focuses mainly on the supporting cast. First, sidekick Yusik, who has been the butt of so many jokes, gets his own happy ending. While I’m glad he reconciles with his ex, it’s rather abrupt because the interaction leading up to it is mostly them bickering about the things that caused them to divorce in the first place. Second is Miso’s aged rock guitarist dad going to meet Youngjun’s parents to discuss wedding arrangements. As a financially strapped musician, he’s intimidated at the prospect of mingling with the ultra-wealthy, and not surprisingly, the narrative turns his efforts to compensate for what he lacks into comedy. However, the story also throws in an unexpected twist that breaks all the social barriers down.
The focus switches back to the main couple for the next third of the volume. Interestingly, the story doesn’t end at the wedding. It actually skips from wedding preparations to a month after the ceremony when Miso realizes that she’s pregnant. This is to stir up a last bit of drama as Miso misinterprets Youngjun’s feelings about children. However, it never really gets fraught. This far into the story, you know they’ll work it out, and so this romance comes to its happy conclusion.
The final third of the volume consists of two bonus arcs. The first is a glimpse of young Miso accompanying Youngjun to a corporate event during their time in the United States. The second arc fast forwards nine years into the couple’s marriage. Through the perspective of their son, we get to see what kind of family life Miso and Youngjun have created as well as get a peek at what happens with Yusik and his wife.
Extras include an afterword, bonus art, illustration gallery, artist’s note, and translation notes.
Volume 6 of What’s Wrong with Secretary Kim? was a fun, swoony continuation of the series, but I have to admit—the ending felt a little rushed. The build-up throughout the earlier chapters was strong, and I loved seeing more depth to the characters’ relationship, along with the usual mix of humor and heartfelt moments. The banter and chemistry are still as charming as ever, and the art continues to be gorgeous.
That said, when it came time to wrap things up, it all seemed to happen a little too quickly. Some plot threads could have used a bit more breathing room, and I would have loved a longer, more satisfying resolution after investing so much in these characters. It’s not that the ending was bad—it just felt like it needed a few more chapters to land with the same emotional weight as the rest of the series.
Still, this volume is absolutely worth reading if you’re following along. It’s funny, romantic, and filled with the sweetness fans expect, even if the conclusion didn’t quite live up to the pacing of the journey. A solid 4 stars from me.

Good ending with too many ellipsis for my taste. Good, but so many things left unsaid, skipped scenes to really feel the feelings of the two heroes. I liked that we have an approach in the bonuses, of “what next? » which even makes you want to have a sequel 15 years later.
