i don't know if this is the official book on goodreads to review this manhwa (it’s called smyrna & capri by brothers without a tomorrow) but i NEED to add it because this is one of the best things i've ever read in my life. i've never experience wanting to reread a book immediately after finishing it for the first time as much as this one.

the love they had for each other was one of the most pure and genuine things i've read. when i say i love romance, what Theo and Seth had is what i mean. the way they stood by and supported each other 😭 they had a lot of decisions to make and i understood every single one of them because i know they will always put each other first before themselves. they would die for each other if they had too. and the jealous and possessive scenes??? so fucking good. when they each showed how much they only want each other? my heart just kept getting fuller as i read on.

if you want a manhwa that has the greenest of green flag characters, read this. there is no toxicity here whatsoever, just two forbidden lovers who form a soul deep bond and an unbreakable connection. i honestly felt like i was intruding on them and had to look away. the way Seth asked Theo for consent every time they had sex. other manhwa man would never….🙄 the way Seth made sure Theo was always comfortable so he wasn't putting pressure on his stomach. yes this is alpha x alpha with mpreg!! and it was fucking amazing!! i just want to cry thinking about them. i could literally feel their longing for each other. how they felt relief when they were in each others presence, how Theo was always curled up so comfortably on Seth’s chest and how Seth easily welcomed him every time, the nesting scene- AHHHHH there was so many soft moments I CAN’T 🫠🫠🫠🫠🫠🫠🫠 these two are my definition of soulmates.

also i just want to say, while this has the best romance imo it also has an amazing plot. the art and writing was beautiful. so if you take one manhwa recommendation from me, this will be it.

Five stars are actually not enough for this manhwa!!!

I’ve never read and AlphaxAlpha troped story and listen I don’t think I will ever read one that was so perfect and well put together than this one here!!

I really regret that I don’t started reading this sooner but on the other hand I’m glad I didn’t so I could read all the chapters in one go! I also can’t really believe that this is actually over because the story gave me so so much comfort and healing 😭💓 god this was just really really good!!!

ML (Seth) must be the first ever alpha i’ve met who’s so gentle, considerate, and always asks for permission even during his rut cycle, he’s literally a green flag! No A GREEN FOREST!!! i never had any complaints against him along the way 😭👏🏼
Also the spicy scenes between them were amazing Omg never read such intense smutty scenes with so many feelings and visible adoration for their parter! Also the artstyle is just breathtaking i don’t have any other words for it, every single panel is a masterpiece for itself!!

IMO, this is one of the best alpha/alpha romances and one the hottest alpha/alpha pairings ever.


I am not sure if this is the official manhwa (Smyrna and Capri by Brothers Without A Tomorrow), but I have been waiting too long to add S&C on Goodreads and hence I am using this as a marker. First of all, this manhwa has one of the most gorgeous, visually pleasing art styles ever.I remember being in a reading slump, and one of my friends suggested reading a comic to get out of it, which is the only reason I picked up this book. But I was so pleased by the artwork from the very first page that I had an itch to draw every panel of this, at the same time wanted to screenshot every panel so that I could just admire the art all the time. I finished reading the entire manhwa in a day and it was an instant favourite. And Theo, Oh Theo 🥹🥺❤️🥰🤧❤️‍🔥 he is the most beautiful, the most handsome, the hottest, and also the prettiest man ever. He was kind of stoic at first but slowly , very slowly opened up his feelings for Seth.Seth is the greenest of the green flags; he cares for Theo and his feelings a lot and would do anything and everything to protect Theo 💗

My only complaint is that I needed more of them and I felt as if this could have been longer.

The story was really fascinating and the art good as usual (Brothers Without A Tomorrow). Here there were 2 alphas that from enemies became lovers and then a mates. The plot was different, we saw both chars being strong alphas, but at the same time one of them(and this is the reason they meet) had to take the uke's role to get pregnant with magic and continue his dynasty, and after failing many times with other partners, the seme was able to make him pregnant. Like in every story of these artists, there was some angst, but it was way less than in others.

They had threee kids(something never happened before), 2 twins(boys) and their first child was a girl. One of the boys will be heir to the seme's reign and the other Queen to the uke's domain.

One of the best manhwa (Smyrna and Capri by brothers without tomorrow) I've ever read and the only one I've read multiple times! They are both just such green flags and comfort characters. Their love story is so beautiful and the plot with all it's political intrigues and the amazing world building never gets boring.

And the spirits are just so super cute!!! 😭

Alright guys, I waited and waited for this one to get completed and then I waited until I had time to just sit down and read this one all the way through and I finally did it!

I’m a huge fan of Brothers Without a Tommorrow’s stories. Every one they have ever written has been an amazing piece of both art and literature. When I saw they were writing this one I was so fascinated by the plot I decided to wait until it was complete to read it so I could just read it all the way through and enjoy the whole thing at once – AND THAT WAS THE RIGHT DECISION! IT WAS AMAZING ONCE AGAIN! The whole plot of this one was amazing.

I think the number one thing I liked about this book particularly was the fact that there were so many things happening in the plot in this one. There was court intrigue, there was enemies to lovers, there was pregnancy, there was mystery, there was fantasy battles. It just had a little bit of everything. I did like the ending, but I did feel like it made me just a little bit sad and I wish there were side stories with more information about their life in the future. The spicy rating was a level 5.

Overall, I would rate this book a 5 out of 5 star rating. I loved it and would HIGHLY recommend it to anyone who is interested.

Alpha x Alpha historical setting, mpreg, eggs

Really entertaining story, plot was really good, it's technically enemies to lovers but they don't truly interact like enemies onscreen so I'd classify it more as strangers to lovers perhaps?

Personally felt like we glossed over some conflicts too quickly. For example, Theo telling Seth to stick to the contract after the egg is out, and Seth having to be the one to reach out first to apologize like whatttt...Then everything working out for the MC and ML at the end, with their enemies disappearing/dying/leaving, which just felt a little too convenient. More into the plot would have been nice right after the climax.

Another thing I really hated: they're not really together in the end?? They're both rulers of their own land and whatnot, and therefore reside away from each other most of the time, which I did not like.

Basically, this author consistently writes bittersweet endings and I always forget (because I don't read this author often), and I personally just need a smidgen of fluff after the climax has painful angst. So again, good story, but I'm not a fan of bittersweet endings which is why my rating is lower.
