Baby Blues Scrapbooks #15

Baby Blues: Unplugged

Rate this book
Usually the biggest struggles (and the biggest laughs) are over the smallest things, and nowhere is this truer than in households with kids. Baby Blues Unplugged overflows with all of the familiar domestic discord and chaos that has made this venerable family comic strip such a phenomenal success. In one strip, Hammie makes skis out of hot wheel tracks and two hair scrunchies and careens down a mountain of couch cushions. Meanwhile, Zoe carefully deliberates whether she wants her bath with or without bubbles, finally telling her Dad, ""How about a regular bath with bubbles on the side?"" Baby Blues provides parents with a much-needed laugh as they battle the daily challenges of keeping pace with their kids.

it has been so long since i last read a baby blues comic strip, what more a whole collection of it! and i loved it.

it was funny, sweet, and most times relatable (i'm the eldest so..). zoe has got to be my most favorite character.. and she reminds me of myself when i was that young. bossing around my little sister.. aah good days, good days. hammie was the cute, naive, little brother which was so easy to adore. mine wasn't, though. and their parent's antics.. hilarious.

but there were a few strips i didn't quite get.. but that's okay. i think i will once i reach parenthood. (joke intended)

PS: okay do i have an overactive imagination or is the thing on the backcover what i think it is? even though it is really long and VERY weak-looking and not anatomically accurate?!
