⭐⭐ for the smut and nothing else.
This was NOT a story about a young woman who was brave and capable. This was a story about a weak willed, spineless, hypocritical and judgemental coward, who put her trust into the worst people imaginable and then cried when the people who did trust her could not even look her in the eye for the utter betrayal she caused them.
I wouldn't even mind if the story telling was semi-decent, but the author uses stupidity to drive the plot forward, because let's be honest, without it there isn't much of a story there to begin with.The author filled the pages with Heather's revenge scenes and the 85 other women going back to Bristlebrook and being pissed that Eden had 5 men chasing her and they couldn't get any dick.
The ending of this book really finished me off though. Eden's serious lack of intelligence really shines in those last few pages... the man she freed earlier in the book, a man who she knew on an instinctual level was NOT to be fucked with - is now leading the sinners. He told her he wouldn't touch Bristlebrook as long as she and her men didn't step foot in Cyanide City and what does she do? she lies to everyone and lets them go to their proverbial deaths in Cyanide City.
I'm more pissed at myself for reading 711 pages of this book.
And let's not get started on the whole it's marketed as reverse harem but find out later on in the book that it isn't RH but actually a poly situation. That pissed me off too. I wish authors would just tag these books as poly romance. It really helps when deciding if you want to read a book or not.

“We can’t change the things that happen to us—only change what they help us to become.”
this was sooooo good and i wasn’t expecting to love it so much more than book one. the amount of emotional depth given to the characters and all their different relationships was highly appreciated. the pacing was perfect and there was always something to keep me invested. Beau and Lucien (lucky) are still my favorites but i loved Jasper and Jayk’s development too.
“But if you want to learn how to rip out their throats yourself, then I’ll show you how to fucking bite.”
seeing Jayk become a reluctant protecter was so sweet, especially since it went against his nature. Beau is just so committed and Lucien keeps things fun. Dom still didn’t get enough page time in my opinion but i really do like all the characters anyway. Eden continues to bring out the best in all of them and helps them approach the feelings they’ve kept locked up. Madison and the rival team side of the story kept me at the edge of my seat and it was nice to see Eden finally have another woman to befriend in these circumstances. the trauma they all have was a huge part of the story but the steam in this truly had me DEADDD ten feet underground. it’s wack that book 3 was pushed back cause I’d be reading it right now.. can’t wait for the spinoff series either omg.

The characters did not, in fact, redeem themselves.
FMC is an idiot with no ability to learn from mistakes, no sense of self-preservation, and not as calculating or smart and she thinks she is. It so repetitive and annoying.
Much of this was gang politics and, once again, the constant threat of anyone with a vagina being violated. If I wanted to read that I'd grab non-fiction or true crime.
This one completely lost the plot, shoving some kink/romance into a few minutes between life or death (while everyone is covered in several days of human and forest filth, might I add) situations while FMC is ACTIVELY and KNOWINGLY continuing to act in ways that she knows are betraying everyone she spends every free mental minute lamenting or craving.
The personalities of the men remain stagnant from the first book as well. The further character development I hoped for never materialized, instead I got 4483452 more characters and post-apocalyptic gang politics.
Such a disappointment that the cliffhanger ending (AGAIN) couldn't make me more irritated than I already was.

Unless I know specifically in advance and for some strange reason want to try, I don't read romance with cheaters.
Making cow-eyes at your ex in the middle of rescuing your girl in the most chaotic battle scene I've read in a long time is cheating. I don't forgive cheaters.
Also, the Jasper/Lucky/Eden triangle isn't resolved according to reviews, at this point I'm calling it cheating too. Why choose is about wanting all equally and frankly besides Jacob (my brain won't read it with the weird spelling, let alone write it) Do any of them want Eden as equally as they want their other pairs?

Ох, Беки Куин - невероятна си!
Ако първата книга беше добра, то тази е УБИЙСТВЕНА! ФАНТАСТИЧКНА! ИЗПЕПЕЛЯВАЩА!
Признавам си, че… доста се поизпотих с втората част от историята. Съпреживях всяко едно нещо, бях в напрежение, ядосвах се, смеех се, ревнувах, червих се - пълна гама от емоции, още ми е трудно да го осмисля цялото това нещо.
Признавам, че някой неща ме изправиха на нокти, виках и псувах, но… някак си после авторката успя да ме убеди, че е било правилното за сюжета и именно тези неща го направиха по-заплетен и още по-интересен.
Толкова много симпатизирам на всички, че не знам как да балансирам! Искам всеки да получи всичко - как Идън успява, бога ми, не знам.
Обожавам Лъки и Джаспър, не искам Джейк да е наранен, искам Бо и Дом да изгладят нещата помежду си. Тъкмо си казвам ето - имам фаворит (да, толкова силно Беки Куин може да те убеди да си избереш ЕДИН) и после магически - ИМАШ ДРУГ! И дори и с всичките им кусури - да, нашите герои не са съвършени - пааак не може да фаворитизираш. Why choose, нали?! Гениално 😍
Идън израстна много - честно казано много ѝ съчувствах - и заслужава цялото щастие и любов на света. Да, на моменти е патка, но ѝ прощавам.
И да, тук е една от най-добрите секс сцени, които съм чела…. Леле, не мога да го опиша с думи. Място не си намерих часове… Беше толкова… реално, пълнокръвно, забранено… същевременно натурално… еротично, мръсно, РОМАНТИЧНО… всичко! Шапки долу, Беки Куин! Не съм изцяло запозната с БДСМ културата, обаче ако това, което се прочетох се припокрива с действителността (мисля си, че ДА)… леле, леле… мдам разбирам хората, които го практикуват, и какво освобождение им носи ( не само на тялото, но и на духа)
И да - КЛИФХЕНГЪР! ЗАМИНАВАМ ЗА 3-та част 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍

I got the privilege to beta read Entangled as well as received an advanced listener copy of the audiobook and I am so thankful I did because I read Book 1 (Ensnared) back in June so I have been sooooo anxious to read book 2!
There is so much angst and tension and moments that just make you want to cry. I was on the edge of my seat throughout so much of this. We get to really learn so much more about each of our guys and experience new emotions from them. Another thing we get? Alottttt more spice and man was it everything I had hoped for! Be prepared to feel all the emotions and wish you could jump into the story and give some of our guys (and maybe Eden lol) a big hug. Just like with book 1, this all-star cast SLAYED, and the new additions were freaking phenomenal. The team at Blue Nose Audio is just unmatched! They all did such a fantastic job of embodying each characters emotions, as well as giving us everything we wanted with the spicy scenes. Perfection.

The growth in these characters. Entangled is a story of overcoming and quiet strength. We pick up where Ensnared left off and we meet new characters. There are experiences that change our characters and there’s a lot of reflection and growth. They learn to communicate and grow and have moments of fun. Truly a 5 star read and even better than the first book. LOVE LOVE LOVE!!!

DNF. Throwing in the towel at 54%
I loved the first book! I gave it 5 ⭐️ and listened to it in less than a day. It’s taken me 2 weeks to get to the 54% mark with this second book and I just don’t think I can continue on anymore.
How did this go from being a RH to a love triangle (or whatever you call it when there’s 1 girl and 5 guys)? The guys started out by saying that last time there was a girl in their camp they were fighting over her, so they decided that if there was another girl, they would all share her. Hence the RH that started in book one. But in this book, they’re all fighting with each other and there’s so much jealousy between the guys over their relationship with Eden. I hated it!
Also, the FMC was BEYOND annoying. She was constantly crying or whining about something or other. Her inner monologue was repetitive, self deprecating, and judgy. She made dumb ass decisions and then cried about it.
I used a credit to get the audiobook, so I’ll probably finish this at some point, but for now, I can’t!

It’s been a long time since I was so immersed in and obsessed with a series, but there’s something about Rebecca’s Quinn’s writing and characters that grabs me by the throat and won’t let go! I also HIGHLY recommend listening to the audiobook, because there’s a full cast of narrators and they are all 🥵🔥
In this one, we pick up right where we left off in book 1, so I won’t go into too many plot details due to spoilers. This book was also quite a bit chunkier (the ebook comes in at a whopping 711 pages) but it never felt slow or drawn out, and I was hooked on every word the entire way through. I also can never fully decide on a “favorite” among the men, which shows how well-developed the characters are. I totally understand why Eden is falling for all of them, because I adore them all as well!
The first half of this book was a bit more plot-heavy, but I found all the side characters so intriguing and was fascinated with how the author expanded this fictional world outside of Bristlebrook. I also really enjoyed seeing Eden continue to come into her own and show what a badass she is, as well as watching her try to juggle the complex emotions of falling for five men. There’s still a lot for her to work out with them (and for them to work out with each other), and I’m beyond excited to see that happen in book 3! I also appreciate that not all of the men are okay with the poly dynamics (feels a tad more realistic imo) and I’m anxious yet curious to see how she handles one man in particular who is overly possessive of Eden and wants her for himself.
Also, can we talk about that doctor roleplay scene?!?! Damn. Just….damn. 💦
I also saw that the author hinted at a spin-off book involving some side characters, and omgggg I can guess at 3 of the characters that spin-off might involve and I am SO EXCITED for their story!
I could write a whole essay on why I love this series, but honestly, if you enjoy Why Choose and/or dystopian romance, then you just need to pick up the series and see for yourself!

Бях като залепена за нея през цялото време. 🥴 На 22-ри седях до 4 сутринта да я чета. Ensnared was a great book, so much drama and of course ended with a cliffhanger but with so much in the air I knew Entangled was going to be rough- AND IT WAS! Oh it was having the beauty part, a lot of oh I knew it, and yes that one mistake that one call that you just knew was going to blow everything up. The way it was brought about, and the one you thought was a villain then turned soft on, then ugh for real! Like that bad boyfriend that we thought with enough love could change…. yes we all have our cringe moments. Still, heartbreaking but beautifully written my only down is of course cliffhanger but no expected date for third! Don’t leave me on a sob like this!!! Still- loved!

I can't begin to put into words how this author has once again stolen my heart. I was amazed to receive the opportunity to receive an ARC for book 2. And I don't regret it at all, I love this series, it pulls you in and gives you a pretty hand necklace while you read it. The growths and problems are amazing and well writen and even in fantasy they aren't far fetched, instead feel somewhat relateable. I can't wait for the Audiobook and to begin rereading all over again

I was very excited to read/listen to the second installment in this series, because I enjoyed Ensnared but I feel like they had just started getting into the character & relationship development. I was STOKED to find out the audiobook came just in time for Christmas, and it was 20 hours long! However, while it definitely kept you on your toes and had some VERY steamy chapters, all in all I was a bit underwhelmed.
PROS:
- Loved getting to know Madison/Heather & her relationship w/Eden
- HELL yes to the spice (and emotional) scenes - shout out to Beau & Eden’s first time one on one together..I’d been waiting for that since the start of book 1! Also the scene(s) in the woods during the Bond Fire…IYKYK 🥵
-The Brutes all Reuniting after Eden’s capture…took forever but was very sweet🥹
CONS:
- Eden’s back and forth behavior with the Brutes. Specifically w/Lucky and Jayk. I’m glad lucky literally called her out on being a hypocrite, because she’s getting mad at Jayk for not wanting to share, but at the same time pushing Lucky away because he’s in love with Jasper?! Make it make sense. I’m just picturing these other girls in Bristlebrook looking at how she’s fighting over 5 of the 7 guys who are there, I’d be like girl sharing is caring! Give one of us Jayk if he’s not down to reverse harem!
- Sam’s arc went pretty much nowhere. He started off as this badass leader whom I was expecting a big epic downfall, but one minute he’s summoning the troops like it’s D-Day, and the next (after a couple dozen chapters of being MIA) he’s getting thrown to his death like a scared little private. Huh? So unsatisfying. Also this was a waste of a solid VA that is Zachary Webber, so I thought this was going somewhere.
- The cliffhanger. After all those chapters (and hours) leading up to this moment, there’s like 2-3 chapters of action and then they basically leave us pissed off at our FMC, and our favorite supporting characters heartbroken. I’m good with a cliffhanger to an extent, but if we’re going to be on this long of a journey, there needs to be some sense of closure.
Overall, I think this book was a bit overhyped on IG and could’ve been cut in half (or at least by 25%) if the book wasn’t going to give us any thing up if loose ends. It just made me frustrated with Eden again, and not wanting to read the next book. When we sign up for reverse harem, we want the good stuff and SOON, and it took until halfway through the book to even get close to a spicy moment with our brutes. Only way I’ll read book 3 is if I can guarantee there is a lot more scenes like in chapter 45😈

Firstly, a massive shoutout to Rebecca for allowing me the honor of being an ARC reader for "Entangled," and for cleverly avoiding another edge-of-your-seat cliffhanger. Although, let's be honest, I'm already itching for the third book.
"Entangled" not only picks up where "Ensnared" left off but also elevates the story to new heights. Rebecca's adept storytelling had already impressed me in the first book, but her ability to delve deeper into complex themes in this sequel is truly remarkable. The emotional landscape of the book is rich and varied, blending distress, anxiety, anguish, resilience, and humor to create a story that is as thrilling and erotic as it is heartbreaking and gut-wrenching.
Rebecca’s sensitive yet bold approach to themes like mental health adds a layer of realism and relatability that I think many readers search for, but can’t always find. An aspect that resonated deeply with me was how she beautifully and masterfully navigated the struggles of coming to terms with mental illness. This is a journey I personally relate to, and seeing the hard work Rebecca put forth of masterfully navigating the healing process depicted with such authenticity and sensitivity was both validating and inspiring.

Secrets definitely don’t make friends- but I love angst, so I’m so here for all the butt hurt and trust building in the next book! I trust Lucky to keep his head on straight at least. I cannot wait to see what pops off between A, M, & H. (Especially after the light torture week.) And will Bentley find love now that the pool has expanded??
My only critical feedback is that the ending and resolution of Sam felt a little rushed and tied too neatly.

Oh. My. God. I don’t even know where to start with this review. I suppose I’ll start by saying this book was utterly fantastic. I love Ensnared, but I freaking adore Entangled. I need book three, like, yesterday. I have to know how this ends!!
Eden goes through so much during this book. So, so, so much. The growth we get to see in her is beautiful. I loved seeing more of how her mind works. I think she might be my favorite character out of everyone, which is saying something because I am hopelessly obsessed with Jayk.
Speaking of Jayk, I’d like to request more of him, please. Yes, we get quite a bit of Jayk in Entangled, but I shamelessly need more. Lucky has edged past Beau into my favorite #2 spot. He brings such joy, but we also get to see more of his actual feelings rather than what he puts on as a show in this book, and I loved it. Beau is almost sickeningly perfect, and I freaking love him. Jasper and Dom are finally starting to pull their heads out of their a$$es, thankfully.
I do have a few requests, Rebecca. I would like you to let Beau know he can be my doctor any day of the week. I’d also *really* like to be invited to the next bond-fire, please and thank you.
Heather is okay. I guess. I very much reluctantly began liking her towards the end. Just a smidge. Bentley is my favorite out of the new characters. I really hope we get to see more of him!
I will say the ending wrecked me. Sadly, this does end in a cliffhanger, and I am barely hanging on to said cliff.

This book was so freaking good! The last book ended in a cliffhanger and this book jumps right back into it. I felt like the characters went through so much in this book. So much pain, growth and happiness. I mean we see the whole group fall apart and try to find their way back together. We see some characters lose who they are and others find themselves. I will say that the spice in this book was so much more than in book one. I did feel like the book did tend to rely on the spice for some parts of it.
The ending of this book. I just don't even know what to feel. I mean I knew it was coming because Eden just had to go and do a dumb thing but still. I don't know how this is all going to play out in book 3.

Holy. Moly. I didn't think it was possible that it could get even better than the first book but Rebecca Quinn has proven me wrong.
Just like in Ensnared, you jump right into the action and you're immediately drawn into the world of the Brutes of Bristlebrook. Immediately hooked and constantly itching to get back to the story - needing to know what is going to happen next.
The spice is - well it's spicy. Immaculate. The joys of reverse harem is that there is a little bit for every spice flavour. Some people overrate spice levels in books, but as an avid spice reader and someone who enjoys those dark romances - I promise you, it's spicy. It does take a little bit to get there but once you do - the roller coaster is in motion!
I truly cannot express how amazing Rebecca's writing style is. Sometimes, with reverse harem all of the men are just the same thing but in a different font. This is not the case here. They are all so different, with different personalities, senses of humour, and speaking styles. The way that I fell in love with each brute, for different reasons. My heart is swelling.
And sometimes, with a reverse harem, you may grow weary of the FMC - that is not the case with Eden. I love Eden - and she is not a damsel in distress here. She is a viper ready to bite.
The way that Rebecca writes... is so refreshing. The characters are all so different. How she portrays emotions truly shakes me to my core. I have never read anything that writes emotions, relationships, arguments, thoughts, and the struggles of mental health issues as well as this - well also being wrapped up in a sci-fi reverse harem bow.
If you're debating reading this series - debate no more. You won't regret it.

Okay, the cliffhanger wasn't as brutal as the first book (thank you Queen) BUT STILL.
We pick up right where we left off in Ensnared, in the middle of the action. It's chaotic in the best way, keeps you on the edge of your seat. It's so fast-paced you always want to read one more chapter and when you blink you realize you've read a hundred pages.
I love the Brutes and some of the new characters (others I hate). The tension between the Brutes and Eden is very much present but I have a feeling it'll be even more chaotic in book three (😬) and I can't wait to see how everything turns out.
Also, Jayk owns my heart.

Perfection! Absolutely obsessed! I thought ensnared was good but dayummmm entangled was even better! This book is longer than the first, has more spice, and makes you very curious about scenarios you may have never pictured in the first place. It may also inspire new toys 😏 And be sure to listen to the audiobook because it’s a multi-cast and it’s SO FUN!!

ARC Review
Should start off by saying thank you so much Rebecca for letting me do an ARC read for Entangled and thank you for not traumatising us again with another cliffhanger but also wtf *grabby hands* need the third book.
Now, where to start with my review. I always know from when I start a book that if the content/authors note makes me chuckle, it's just automatically going to be a great read. I loved this book so much. It had me sobbing pretty much within the first couple of chapters.
I enjoyed that it picked up right where we left off in Ensnared and dealing with the emotions of the unknown and what happened after the attack on Bristlebrook and Eden getting kidnapped. The distress and emotions that Eden felt over her men while with her captors had me blubbering. The stress and worry the brutes of Bristlebrook faced while some were trying to find Eden and the ones that had to stay at Bristlebrook dealing with the unknown if their comrades and Eden would return home. This brought just the right amount of angst, tension, spiciness, and humour.
It made me fall even more in love with these men, and I fell so hard for Jasper and Dom in this book. I now love all of them so much, and where is my harem of men??? All I can say is thank you, Dr Bennett. You are doing gods work 🫡. Really enjoyed the progress on all their relationships with Eden. Want to shake some sense in two of them, though, but still love them. Always love the diversity of the relationships too, this book had just enhanced everything from book 1 but with a little angst and whole lot of spice.
I enjoyed seeing how Eden eventually dealt with her previous and present trauma and how not only how it effected her but the people around her and how they spoke up about how she was avoiding her trauma and ptsd not in a healthy way and that it is okay to need help. But I think what I loved most was that they weren't pushy about it, that they allowed her the time to understand her trauma/ptsd, giving her a way to not necessarily come to terms with it but giving her ways to deal with it and giving her an outlet to express herself when she wasn't ready and in turn then was a way to communicate when she decided to come forward, when she felt ready and needed help to speak to someone.
Before I make this into an entire 😉 essay 😉 I am going to end it by saying this series just has a special place in my heart. I can't wait to see what else is in store for Eden and her Brutes of Bristlebrook.
Should start off by saying thank you so much Rebecca for letting me do an ARC read for Entangled and thank you for not traumatising us again with another cliffhanger but also wtf *grabby hands* need the third book.
Now, where to start with my review. I always know from when I start a book that if the content/authors note makes me chuckle, it's just automatically going to be a great read. I loved this book so much. It had me sobbing pretty much within the first couple of chapters.
I enjoyed that it picked up right where we left off in Ensnared and dealing with the emotions of the unknown and what happened after the attack on Bristlebrook and Eden getting kidnapped. The distress and emotions that Eden felt over her men while with her captors had me blubbering. The stress and worry the brutes of Bristlebrook faced while some were trying to find Eden and the ones that had to stay at Bristlebrook dealing with the unknown if their comrades and Eden would return home. This brought just the right amount of angst, tension, spiciness, and humour.
It made me fall even more in love with these men, and I fell so hard for Jasper and Dom in this book. I now love all of them so much, and where is my harem of men??? All I can say is thank you, Dr Bennett. You are doing gods work 🫡. Really enjoyed the progress on all their relationships with Eden. Want to shake some sense in two of them, though, but still love them. Always love the diversity of the relationships too, this book had just enhanced everything from book 1 but with a little angst and whole lot of spice.
I enjoyed seeing how Eden eventually dealt with her previous and present trauma and how not only how it effected her but the people around her and how they spoke up about how she was avoiding her trauma and ptsd not in a healthy way and that it is okay to need help.
