Can I say how much I loved this book?!! I loved the cover, the setting, Cara, Roman, their open communication, and little Mia is so adorable how could I not love her? We're back with the Prosper family and finally get Cara's story. Cara's a chef working in California but has been personally selected to cater for a high profile client in Wyoming for several weeks around Christmas holidays.

You've heard the saying "love comes when you're not looking"? Well neither Cara nor Roman are looking for a relationship--she's focused on her career and he's trying to balance being the single dad of a 6 year old and the producer of a hit TV show. Roman and Cara have great interactions right from the start and Cara immediately hits it off with little Mia when she helps with the Christmas tree problem and bakes Mia's favorite pie--apple. I loved the way Cara and Roman were open about everything--they talked things out and didn't play games.

I loved when Cara, Roman and Mia went to the Prosper family's ranch for Christmas. All the scenes with the family--Cara and Ruby, Cara and the pony, and when Mia called Cara's dad "Grandpa Rex" it was enough to melt the coldest of hearts. This is my favorite of the Prosperity Ranch series and it came at the perfect time. It was great being whisked away to the snow and cold of Wyoming since in real life I was in the middle of summer heat wave.

I received a complimentary copy for review. All thoughts and opinions expressed in this review are my own.

Oh my heart!!! This one gets all the stars and all the hearts from me!!! I've been waiting for Cara Prosper's story for a while and let me tell you it did not disappoint at all!!! I devoured this one. I stayed up late reading it because I just couldn't put it down.

Prosperity Ranch is such a great series and I loved coming back to it and all of the characters that I've grown attached to. Yes, I freely admit that I am attached to fictional characters. Hahaha! *No shame or guilt from me* The Prosper family is just such a wonderful family that I can't help but feel all the emotions with them. The struggles, the ups and downs, the sorrows. But most especially, the joys and happiness and love and forgiveness and healing and hope. I just love cheering for these characters!

Cara's story was charming. Being asked to cater for a big named producer and the cast of her dad and brothers' favorite tv show is huge for her. The only downfall, it's the week leading up to Christmas and on Christmas Eve. But hey, it's part of her job and she'll be home for Christmas. Maybe with a couple of surprises with her. ;-)

Roman and his daughter are just the cutest things ever! I loved watching the dynamics of their relationship. Then to have his daughter connect with Cara and the scenes with him watching them. Be warned, they'll melt your heart.

And then all of the scenes with Roman and Cara...wowsers! Especially when she's in the kitchen making food. Swoon!!! I just couldn't get enough of these two!

But the struggle of living two different places and quite a bit of distance between is very real. These two have to figure that out if they want to continue with this budding friendship and more!

Seriously, all the heart eyes!!!

Content: Clean. Some kisses but nothing further. Some very mild innuendos as a couple discuss a past relationship and discussion of waiting for marriage until having sex.

I received a copy from the author. All thoughts and opinions in the review are my own.

Happy Reading!!!

Sweet Western set romance. Prospect is owrfect!

Romance, sweet, Contemporary; series but stand alone read.
Cara and Roman's story was sweet drawn. Loved the settings in Wyoming, Prosper, and CA. The TV series backstory was fun, and Cara and Roman's gradual fall was so natural and sweet. Always love when two honest hearts come together. Mia was a cute addition to the novel, and more so with her sweet disposition and curiosity and inquisitive nature. Loved seeing the family again, and live Christmas any time of year.

I loved the great chemistry between Cara and Roman! For these two, there's no quicker way to the heart than through food and children ;) Really, their experiences with Roman's daughter are what show the deeper aspects of their personalities and provide a foundation for their attraction. Cara is a genuine person, and her connection with his daughter helps him realize the importance of her influence. The job is temporary, however, and Cara has important opportunities waiting for her. It was a pleasure reading their developing romance and seeing how they overcame the obstacles in their way. I loved the holiday setting in Wyoming and the magical sense it brought. Another sweet story in the Prosperity Ranch series!

I have to start by saying how much I love this cover! The book is great, too. I really enjoyed the flirting between Roman and Cara, and I liked how they were just straightforward with each other about their feelings. This was a lot of fun to read--a great choice for those who want a clean Christmas romance to read.
Although this is the fourth book in a series, it can definitely be read as a stand-alone.

I loved everything about this book! We finally get Cara Prosper's story, and it's a good one. I loved the open communication between Cara and Roman — no drama or game playing — and the bond that develops between Cara and his little girl. Throw in Heather's trademark wit and strong ties with her families, and it's another winner for me!

Always clean, well written, and interesting from the first page, I recommend all the Prosperity Ranch books, though they can all be read as stand alones.

This is a heartwarming Christmas romance story that I absolutely adored. If you want a feel good read, this is a definite must for your TBR pile! I loved the Prosperity Ranch series and Cara’s story is so good! I loved little Mia, she was a perfect part of the story and my heart kind of melted.

Cara and Roman had the best encounters and conversations. They hit things right off and isn’t that how it works when you aren’t really looking for a relationship? I loved the setting! This beautiful ranch in Wyoming in the winter during Christmas time. Cara being a chef made the whole season really come alive for me, I loved reading about what she was making or baking. It isn’t the holidays without good food. Add in the whole hit tv series being filmed with Roman being the producer and it made for a fantastic read! Honestly this story was a refreshing contemporary romance that I would recommend to any of my friends. It can be read as a standalone even though it is better appreciated if you read the whole series. I received a copy of this book for free; all thoughts and opinions are my own.

A charming sweet romance. Another great story of the Prosper family. This story is about Cara Prosper. She is a gourmet chef that has been ask to cook for the famous producer, Roman De Marco. This takes her from her home in California to his ranch in Wyoming. Filming over the Christmas holiday, Roman had decided to hire Cara and an event planner, to keep up morale over the holidays. It didn’t take long to become smitten with this amazingly wonderful chef. The story can stand alone, but is more interesting if read in conjunction with the other Prosper family stories. I really enjoyed the characters. They are fun and flirty and Mia is adorable. The story is pretty simple; meet, bond (talking and listening), kiss (sweet and chaste)… a little drama and lots of family. Quick, happily ever after read, that leaves you with warm fuzzies.

Another great book in the Prosper Ranch series! This story involves Cara Prosper, who is a successful chef in L.A. When asked to cater to a film crew in Wyoming for the famous producer Roman De Marco, Cara becomes enchanted with Roman's daughter and develops feelings for Roman. He has some baggage from his past marriage, however, and Cara doesn't want a relationship that won't last. This book was charming and the characters were all likable, except maybe the self-centered actress on set. I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a sweet romance.

Both successful, both happy, neither looking for love
This is a wonderful story that will have you smiling, laughing and enjoying every minute. Cara had achieved her goal of being a chef in a prestigious restaurant and has now been requested to prepare meals for a television producer who was taking the cast of his show to his Wyoming ranch to film during the Christmas holidays. She didn’t want to miss time with her family in Texas but this chance was huge. Roman was the producer of a hit television show. He had worked hard to achieve his place in the industry. Filming at his ranch in Wyoming would allow for a more realistic setting for the show and allow him to spend more time with his daughter. Single parenting was not something Roman wanted or expected but with the death of his wife it was his life. Luckily, he had some wonderful staff that helped in the daily care of his sweet daughter. Things were good in his life. When he hires Cara to help provide the dinners for the crew, he does not realize all the changes and possibilities that will enter not only his but her life as well. A great story that leaves you feeling good about making life work. I received an early copy and this is my honest review.

I read this as a stand alone book but I think it would have been much better if I had read the other 3 books in the series first. The first part of the book was a bit cheesy, almost like walking through the motions, though still very enjoyable it *felt* like reading a book. It didn't really capture me till about 1/3 of the way through and then I was 100% immersed in the story where you completely forget you're reading. Will go back to read the other three- this one was amazing!

Story: 4.5 stars

A straight-forward love story, where we follow two people as they fall in love and figure out how to deal with the barriers in their way.

There's a little girl, a spoiled actress, a big family and Christmas in Wyoming and Texas. Then there are our protagonists: a chef and a tv producer. Let the romance and the connection begin! This book leaves you with a big smile on your face and is clean romance, to boot!

Just what I needed for a bit of an escape :-)

Roman De Marco is a famous producer. He arranges for Cara Prosper, a chef, to cater meals for the cast of his show while filming scenes at his Wyoming ranch. Neither one is looking for love but as they interact with each other and Roman's six year old daughter, Mia, sparks fly and they fall into a friendship that is instantly comfortable. This is another delightful story in the series of the Prosper family.

This is a sweet story. I liked the characters and felt their attraction to each other. Things moved pretty fast but at least they weren't engaged by the end of their week together in Wyoming. They just knew they wanted to see how things would go. I liked that. I also liked that they spoke straight forward with each other from the get go. I liked their relationship with Mia and felt like they will be a good parenting team. I think Cara had a very good attitude about Mia's strong personality traits too.

It is a pretty quick read so it is great for an afternoon's entertainment.

LOVE! LOVE! LOVE! All the ingredients that I love in a clean romance are all combined in Seasoned with Love! Heather B. Moore has such an incredible knack of getting you into her character’s lives and hearts. The moments are so vivid, the imagery sheer perfection, making me wish I could take a trip to Wyoming so I could enjoy those mountains and California to enjoy the picturesque sunshine!

The Prosperity Ranch series has been such an enjoyable series for me that I always squeal when I see that there is another installment coming soon. I’ll admit the first book in the series wasn’t a strong start, but each novel since has been better and better, and Seasoned with Love is hands down my favorite so far.

With Texas, as well as much of the country, dealing with record triple-digit heat, I appreciated the “Christmas in July” feel. The setting is actually during the holiday season, making me jealous of the cooler weather and snow as I’m sitting here sweating, and thanks to the wonderful imagery I could feel the delicious coolness.

What wasn’t chilly, but rather steamy, was the connection between the main characters, Roman and Cara. Their connection was palpable, electric from the first chance encounter, and grew quickly, their easy going personalities and good natures meshing well. Sweet little Ruby has been a favorite character of mine from this series, and I LOVED that she not only makes an appearance, but Roman’s young daughter Mia is also a main character, being apart of Roman and Cara’s budding relationship, and bringing that wonderful youth and innocence.

The whole pen pal idea was so cute, and I loved the spontaneity and the fact that the setting moves from multiple states, including my home own Lone Star State! I am not a cook by any means, but I appreciate what chef’s do, and love food, so hearing about the multiple confections that Cara makes throughout the novel was a real treat.

The ending was swift, but perfect in every possible way, a whirlwind that matches the couple perfectly, and I closed the book with a happy sigh and a sense of longing, hoping beyond hope that this will not be the last book of the series. I immensely enjoyed every moment I read Seasoned with Love and hated that I devoured it so quickly, but it was near impossible to put down, and was truly the perfect summer read for me.

This was a fun novel to read. Cara Prosper is living in California away from family. She is asked to took for a group of people in Wyoming over Christmas. Her family is sad she won't be there, but Cara is excited for this opportunity.
Roman is raising his daughter on his own. He has dated a little, but no one seems to fit in with his life and his daughter. He is producing a movie and the filming is taking place at his ranch in Wyoming. He hires Cara Prosper to come cook for the crew. Amazingly she clicks with his daughter and loves spending time with her. Roman also enjoys time spent with Cara.
When the party is over and Cara heads home Roman and his daughter go along. They find happiness in each other and the family.
This was a great book to read!
I was given an ARC of this book and left the review voluntarily. All opinions expressed are my own.

Best Yet!

I've really enjoyed the previous books in the Prosperity Ranch series as well as many of the adjacent stories, so when I say this was the best yet, it's a high bar. I liked Cara and Roman and how they interact with other characters, many (but not all) of whom were familiar from other stories. I love that they knew themselves enough to not play games or do the stupid second guessing so often seen in romance books. It was a good story with character development and interesting scenery and of course a good HEA. 2 Thumbs Up!

Sweet Romance

I loved this addition to the series! Cara found her happily ever after! I love that she loved Mia first off and that helped Roman realize that he liked her. Their banter was fabulous! “You’re leaning again.” I especially loved the ending! I wasn’t a huge fan of the whole telling her everything that went wrong with his first marriage on their first date. But, I loved hearing how Cara’s family was doing!

Another great book for the Prosper family! All these books in the series are standalone's yet compliment each other with overlapping characters and it is definitely fun to know the background of their siblings.

The story revolves around Cara, one of the Prosper sisters who is a chef in Los Angeles, California. She is asked to cater a private holiday week long event at a movie producer's home. I love the connection between the two main characters and that their relationship is built off of a new friendship and mutual communication.

Clean romance, highly recommended.

I LOVE the Prosper family. And I love how each of these books gives us another view into their lives. I am not a cook, so romances with a lot of recipes don't quite do it for me. Heather did a great job crafting a beautiful love story that wasn't too cooking-heavy. I was intrigued and honestly, the book was over before I was ready. But such a wonderful story! I highly recommend this book.

This is a sweet romance. Cara is busy with her career as a chef until she meets Roman and Mia. Roman is wary about relationships due to a bad marriage. The chemistry between the two is sizzling but still sweet. I enjoyed reading how welcoming Cara’s family was to Roman and Mia. Overall a warm fuzzy read.
