When I got this booklet in the mail, I was a little disappointed because it was a booklet. (HINT to self: Check the number of pages before buying a book the next time so there's no confusion.)

However, I loved the content and had fun trying my hand at creating dangles this weekend. Now I want to order more of Joanne's books/booklets to get more ideas.

Zenspirations Dangle Designs are great for scrapbookers, doodlers, card-makers, and other crafty folks. Very theraputic too!

On Amazon there was criticism that this was too short, and it was very short, but it was also very inexpensive; more like a leaflet. Again, nice set of ideas and easy to get started with my own projects.

ZENSPIRATIONS DANGLE DESIGNS, EXPANDED WORKBOOK EDITION
by Joanne Fink

In ZENSPIRATION, you learn the mechanics of creating dangles. From pins, bars, socks, and everywhere in between. Really, there's not much rhyme or reason to it, you simply draw some bars on a page and fill it in as you like. The book encourages you to use your imagination to decorate in your own way.

Who knew there were so many ways to use dangles in your drawings? There is no right or wrong way to dangle. There are more beautiful examples of ways to use your dangles. I especially like the way the author has used them to create the hair of an angel or the feathers of birds.

The author gives lots of examples and instructions regarding the basics of creating dangles and how to construct them. I was not entirely comfortable before reading this book, to be creating dangles. Now, I feel like an old hand and have no problem adding them here, there, and everywhere.

The book is thin, there are a few pages for use in practice, but it is still a great learning tool. This one has a special spot on my #doodles, #dangles, and #handlettering shelf. #joannefink #zenspirationsdangledesigns

FUN FUN FUN

Exploring the art of Zentangle has given me and my daughter an avenue in which to bond that we both enjoy. We are working on a nursery painting and plan to paint a zentangle mural above my bed in lieu of a headboard.

This is a workbook, not really a coloring book, for those who are looking for such books.

It's a really good workbook, though thin; it makes the artist think in different directions for this type of design.
