Bizzy Baker Wilder runs the Country Cottage Inn. Her notable talent is her ability to most of the time be able to read human and animal minds, which she finds both a blessing and a curse apparently.
With Halloween approaching, Jasper's brother, Max, is getting married with a Halloween flair as the wedding venue is in a cemetery in the middle of the night. Tabina Wickham (“Tabby”), is his bride-to-be. Attending guests will be in costume, some cute while others are terrifying! It should spice up the wedding album for sure! Fish and Sherlock have even met a “pal” there, a gorgeous Dalmatian named Spooky Spot. When Bizzy hears barking, she heads toward the woods to see what Sherlock and Fish are up to. Spooky Spot is running in circles as Bizzy approaches the dog, and then sees a body facedown on the ground with a butcher knife sticking out of his back. Dressed as a werewolf in an orange plaid flannel, Bizzy realizes Max’s old buddy Herschel Wolfe (“Hershey”) is dead.
With the help her kitten Fish, her dog Sherlock Bones, and her handsome homicide husband Detective Jasper Wilder, Bizzy is highly motivated to find the killer. Will they be successful? Or will the killer point everyone in the wrong direction?
This is another of the very enjoyable mysteries by this author, primarily because I love humor and these characters do it so well! They are quirky, likable, very unusual, and yet the kind of friends (and pets) the reader would love to have. The story line is clever and the author allows us to tag along to see how Bizzy and her friends investigate the case. Grab your copy and follow along! It’s always so much fun to see them in action!
What a super cast of characters both people and fur people. I know Addison has had many books to develop this group but she has done such a fabulous job that you can pick up at this book and still buy into the characters. This story grabbed me on page one and really did not let go. The mystery was pretty good but that was not the crux of the story or what kept me turning pages. The characters and their antics did. Honestly, it is a challenge for me to tell you whose antics were funnier - Georgie swinging from the chandelier or the animals with their snark. Also as someone who loves fall in all its pumpkin glory, I had to dial in my imagination to try to imagine the scenes the author was painting for us. I do have a bad habit of jumping into a series in the middle and I am 100% glad I did. I have added three other books from this series to my kindle and plan to buy more. I would be remiss if I did not mention the beginning story. What an absolute hoot to plan a wedding at at cemetery. Addison is really talented to have plotted such a story. I hope this series continues for a long time, it is very enjoyable.

Spotted at the Cemetery is the twenty-sixth book in the Country Cottage series. Spotted at the Cemetery is part of a series, but can easily read as a stand alone and you would be just fine. This series is about Bizzy Baker, a fun quirky inn manager, now owner, that loves her cozy little home town Cider Cove. While Bizzy is not your normal run of the mill owner, when she was younger she almost drown and gained the ability to read minds. This has been a blessing and a curse. Jaspers brother Max is getting married shortly before Halloween and in a cemetery. The wedding had what you’d expect from a Halloween wedding in a cemetery costumes, monsters and murder. And of coarse Bizzy finds the body. Being that there was a body found the bride and groom don’t want this to be the memory tied to their wedding so take Bizzys offer to have a redo on Halloween on the inn’s grounds. Having the Halloween themed wedding will blend in with the spooky festivities already. As usual Bizzy decides that she will find the murderer and Jasper is against this idea. Will they solve the case before the wedding redo? Or will the killer get away with murder.
Halloween in this quaint little town is more than just a cute opportunity to get some candy. When the paranormal are around on a normal day, this time of year truly brings out some craziness.
This is book twenty-six of the series, but it is written as a standalone. All the essential bits are covered early on.
This is a cozy mystery with a lot of paranormal extras. Ghost, ghouls and vampires are just the beginning. The story is well written and easy to read with a well developed setting that is definitely not on the usual tourist routes. The characters are well done and appropriately nuts, and I really love our heroine who does her best to keep her in running while solving a mystery or two on the side. The mystery was a good one and everything moved at a nice pace providing a very enjoyable experience. Overall, a really fun story and I look forward to visiting our heroine again.
Highly recommended.

Ah, October, when Cider Cove, ME becomes Spider Cove. And what could be more appropriate at Halloween than having a wedding in the cemetery? Bizzy is busy hosting the harvest festival at the B&B. Brother-in-law, Max & Bride to be, Tabby, exchanging vows amid the gravestone’s certainly has a spooky flair. But when Bizzy goes to investigate what her pets are up to, she stumbles over the dead body of Hershey Wolfe. Of course she’s going to use her ability to read minds to help Jasper solve the murder.
Filled with the quirky characters and snarky pets that Ms. Moore is known for, this cozy mystery is a delightful romp. And with her vivid, descriptive prose you can practically smell the pumpkin spice in the air and taste Emmy’s mouthwatering treats.

Halloween in Cider “Spider” Cove turns deadly when Bizzy stumbles onto a dead werewolf in the woods. Instead of a spooky wedding, there will be a funeral. Bizzy should be busy running her inn and getting ready for her Haunted house but she can’t let a case go unsolved. With her mind-reading ability and help from her furry friends, she is determined to find the killer.
This book has a host of great supporting characters and a good mystery plot. It’s the first I have read in this series and I look forward to reading more of them. I received a free copy but my review is honest and voluntary.
Bizzy Baker mind reader ( sometimes) all set for the big Halloween bash but first the wedding. Jasper’s brother is getting married …in a cemetery , Bizzy finds one of the guests deceased . With Fish and Sherlock bones as her sidekicks , she is helping a rather dashing detective with a murder investigation . Reneging on her duties at the Inn’s Halloween party preparations. Another perfectly awesome Mystery that has fun characters , plots and backgrounds with great descriptions it’s a laugh out loud immersive experience.

Bizzy Baker Wilder and team are at it again. Now it’s to solve a murder of a friend of Jasper and his brothers at his brother Max’s cemetery wedding. Bizzy along with her normal crew plus a new pooch that belonged to the deceased are trying to figure out who the murderer was. Except it seems to keep being pointed back to Max! But there are a lot of suspects for them to go thru… and it’s a busy time of the year in “Spider” Cove with Halloween right around the corner. Bizzy has to work extra hard to figure out this murder before it happens again!
Great story! I love these characters!

Bizzy is at the wedding of Jasper's brother Max. The choice of wedding venue is unique and something his fiancé wanted. Bizzy and the others meet a friend of Max's and there seems to be something between them, she mentions it to her husband. Bizzy stumbles upon another body. Seems someone didn't like what Hershey was up to. Bizzy with the help of others will try to find out just who committed the crime and get everything cleared up by Halloween.
This was a fun, light read. Bizzy and the other characters will keep you entertained as they track down the murderer. There are some really fun and interesting moments that I didn't reveal as I don't want to spoil the story for other readers.
The leaves are falling. The days are getting colder. Halloween is just around the corner. There’s a wedding in the cemetery at night with everyone in costume. Talk about creepy! Before it’s over a man is lying dead with a knife in his back. Jasper is investigating because he’s a detective. His wife Bizzy is investigating because she keeps finding dead bodies. So much is going on around town with the huge Halloween festival but the investigation keeps hitting dead ends. Can they figure this whole mess out? Loaded with plenty of colorful characters and some very special pets! What a perfect read for a fall afternoon!
Spotted at the Cemetery is the twenty sixth installment of Country Cottage Mysteries series written by Addison Moore and Bellamy Bloom. This is yet another one of the quite enjoyable mysteries by this author, primarily because I love wit and humor of these characters and they do it so well! They are quirky, likable, sometimes unusual, and yet the kind of friends (and pets) the reader would like to know. The story line is very clever and the author lets us to tag along to see how Bizzy and her friends probe into the case.

There’s murder at Max and Tabby’s wedding at the cemetery. Hershey Wolfe got stabbed in the back. Bizzy and her hubby Jasper - the real police detective - try to find the killer. Jasper doing real police detective work, Bizzy using her aces up her sleeve, her mind reading ability paired with her supportive cat and dogs. The whole bunch of people we are introduced to in this plot make for a hilariously freaky frightening story, highly entertaining and so right for this year’s Halloween season.

A wedding in the cemetery at night, Harvest Festival at the B&B, a dead body and a witch who can read minds and help solve murders with the help of people and animals. Halloween is fully in celebration and the pumpkin spice is everywhere. Love this series and this book is a perfect addition. Lots of laughs, animals, murder suspense, twists, surprises, revelations, quirky townspeople, and an unexpected ending. Well done again.

This story about an innkeeper with the ability to hear the thoughts of animals and some people is another winner by author Addison Moore! I particularly love the thoughts of the pets in the book. It's all very comical and yet there is a very serious mystery that needs to be solved. Of course, it all wraps up in the end, but how it gets there is fun reading.

A wedding in a cemetery, vampires, werewolves, and all the spooky, scary things that go bump in the night. What could go wrong? If you're Bizzy Baker-Wilder in Cider (Spider) Cove, then everything can go wrong...murder that is. Costumed guests and fake blood everywhere will make it a little harder for Bizzy to start following clues. Add in the annual Harvest Festival and it will really keep Bizzy busy! Can Bizzy catch a killer before Halloween, or will the killer make Bizzy a real ghost?
Spotted at the Cemetery is a very entertaining mystery! These recurring characters are fantastic and zany, The animals are quite interesting as well. The book begins with the wedding in the cemetery. I was fascinated from page one and just kept reading. (Who has time for chores when a book is this engaging?) There are many crazy antics, some snark, a wedding, a murder and more. What a fun way to spend a fall day!
A wedding at Halloween? Spooky shenanigans? I'm in.
Only, I'm not.
A mind reader who seems to have selective mind-reading (some of them being animals!?), baby-crazy lead characters and a plot a bit thin even for me to believe in a cozy mystery.
I love a good haunted cozy and I was sure this would hit the mark, but sadly, it is not for me. I struggled to connect with the characters or the plot and was just happy it was a short, easy read.
Bizzy is a it again. Another dead body is found and she is off to find the murderer especially when it happens at her brother in law's wedding. Jasper is also taking it personally and led Bizzy know this is his case. Hijinks abound in this book as the mystery is solved. Suspense and danger shadows Bizzy as she investigates. Recommend this book to everyone who enjoys a cozy mystery.

I liked this story. It had snappy dialog and while I knew who the killer was about half way through, the journey to the reveal was fun. Love the dialog of the animals and people that the author identifies in bold print. It adds to the story and is a clever way to bring clues to the reader. The "Spider Cove" vs. Cider cove thing was a bit overdone in my opinion, but overall, I liked this story and hope to read more books by this author in the future.
This story is such an entertaining mystery with characters that will make you smile and shake your head. I enjoy the way that Bizzy uses her mind reading abilities to figure out mysteries and talk with animals. The story line keeps a good pace without overwhelming you with too much too fast. Looking forward to the next one
Another great story about Cider Cove. Each book keeps you glued to the pages until you finish it as quickly as you can read, and hopefully only have to put it aside and have it finished as soon as possible. Keeps you hanging on every word. Never a dull moment. Love it, can’t wait to start book 27,
a spooky Halloween themed wedding turns into a deadly party, with mysteries galore in addition to a whodunnit
birthday cake, and yearnings for more babies mix with some sweet and clever fur babies and an odd human cast in fun and freaky Halloween season murder mysteries mayhem
Wonderful book by author Addison Moore. I really enjoyed reading this awesome book. The character of Bizzy is so good. I highly recommend reading any or all of her wonderful books...

Halloween is a spooky holiday, but it's not supposed to end in murder. Th inn throws a party where Jasper's brother plans to get married, but death interupts.
Such a fun story with amazing characters. I loved reading this book. It's fun and exciting without being too heavy. I had so much fun with these characters and look forward to reading more!
