Low on suspense and romance was there just for the sake of it.

This had a very compelling storyline about a spooky haunted hotel. The romance and main characters were done well. What I didn't like was the revelation of who the murderer was. Sorry, but that part just didn't make sense. The person was too likeable and his actions just didn't fit his character nor seemed likely based on who he was. Because of this, I've downgraded my rating from 4 to 3. The ending of the murder mystery was highly disappointing because it wasn't believable.

I enjoyed this author to a degree. I thought the ending was too abrupt.

The heroine was fairly well developed. The hero was okay.

The plot was bizarre and difficult to follow.

I thought the author's writing style was good, which is why I gave it a 3.
