I love a story that ends with a kiss, whether it's a book or a movie. That's the big payoff! So that's the kind of books I like to write, and I call my style "cotton candy for the soul"-- light, sweet, gone. We all need a little escape from reality for a while, and escapist fiction can be the perfect remedy.

I'm a moderately bad housekeeper, I have a black thumb, and it takes a small miracle to get my hair to curl. My handsome husband and I live in the Arizona desert where we're raising our five children, who never let us stop laughing.

Very cute Christmas novella featuring old classmates Hunter and Natalie. Natalie is a baker at Bread and Breakfast two hours away from her home town Massey Falls. Hometown hero Hunter just finished his PHD which included restoring his family mansion, Yuletide Manir, then he hopes to teach at a nearby college.
Natalie has to take over wedding plans for her younger sister because her older, pregnant sister has been put on bed rest. The venue chosen was non other than Yuletide Manor which forces Hunter and Natalie to work together.
I loved this story because of the restoration angle and the pull of the two main characters after a rocky beginning. There was a theme of forgiveness amidst a Christian World View. Some favorite scenes were with nephew Bobby who was portrayed authentically.
I would like to return to Massey Falls for more stories.

Hunter and Natalie had an unfortunate encounter in high school that left her not at all impressed with him. With a healthy dose of real emotion and justified insecurities, Jennifer Griffith delivers a delightfully charming Christmas story full of humor, romance, magic, and second chances.

As Natalie steps in as her younger sister's wedding planner and her older sister's nanny, and Hunter steps into the role of a last hurrah wedding planner, the sparks and magical snowflakes (and forgiveness snowballs) fly.

I loved these characters and their contributions to life and each other. I loved their interactions and especially enjoyed the moments with Bobby, her nephew. This is such a heartwarming and sweet story.

Content: mild romance

Natalie is brought back to town to help her bride to be sister plan her wedding because their other sister who was planning is very heavy with child.

The catch ends up that the wedding is being held in Yuletide Manor. A house that is basically the reason why Natalie bakes, and home to the man who is the reason she left town.

Anyone who was never crushed or bullied in school will probably think her behavior excessive, but living through it myself, I think the author captured it perfectly. Natalie also saw the good side to Hunter, which is how the terrible memory came about so she is a little willing to be courteous but not more.

Hunter has beat himself up over what happened ever since it happened, so when he sees Natalie he sees a way to set it right.
So he offers his service to help plan the wedding even though he never has before.

The fact that Natalie and Hunter basically plan all of the wedding and her sister was fine with just showing up is hysterical. I can't imagine anyone being that way, but it fit the story so I will just believe it happens.

As they spend time together,Natalie and Hunter start to really like each other. He gets her to help judge the town's ginger bread contest, he gives her a tour or the estate, anything he can to draw her in.

Then he tells her the story of that day and what happened. Natalie tells Hunter what was going on in her life. They try to begin again.

When the year is out the Yuletide Manor is supposed to given over to the city to do as they want, Hunter is supposed to go be a professor, and Natalie would go back to where she lived and go back to baking.
Is what is happening between Natalie and Hunter worth changing all of that? This isn't just a have a conversation and find out kind of problem. Not only do they not know how the other feels, they can't decide what the actually want. Its a lot to put on the line for a new love.

A wedding, Christmas and a second chance all wrapped up in one lovely story.

This was a fun read by a new-to-me author.

Natalie Tanner gets an urgent call from her younger sister and must rush back home to help plan her wedding. She has no experience whatsoever.

Hunter Hawthorn’s family owns Yuletide Manor, the venue where the wedding will take place. Thankfully Natalie won’t have to worry about him. Hopefully he won’t even be in town when the wedding occurs. Natalie and Hunter have a history. Sort of. And she’s not ready for an encounter with him. But he’s one of the first people she runs into, literally, when she goes to check out Yuletide Manor, which also happens to be the house of her childhood dreams.

Turns out that many weddings have been held at Yuletide Manor and Hunter volunteers to help her plan her sister’s wedding. After the cruel way he treated her years ago he feels it’s the least he can do and maybe he’ll get a chance to apologize and explain what really happened. But after that encounter and the way he broke her young heart, can she really work with him? For days on end? She’s about to find out.

It is Christmas time and a wedding needs to be planned for Christmas Day. Natalie Tanner, is a baker of breads, never fails with each loaf she has baked. She works in a bakery called "Bread and Breakfast" in Reedsville, which is not far from her hometown. She has two sisters who still live in their hometown of Massy Falls. Her sister calls to tell her she needs her help to planned their baby sister's wedding. The doctor has put her on strict bedrest and cannot plan the wedding.

So Natalie makes the choice to take time off from work and travels to Massey Falls. The wedding is to take place at "Yuletide Manor", a place of historical importance. Then Natalie runs into Hawthorn Hunter, and old school sweetheart and he owns the Yuletide Manor too. She has to work hard to forgive a mistake that was made when they were teenagers.

This book is from a series of 10 books. I so enjoyed it and am wanting to read the others as well. In the back of the book is a wonderful bread recipe the author bakes. And this recipe never fails her. Thank you Jennifer Griffith for your talent in writing.

I read this as part of the Christmas Kisses & Holiday Wishes multi-author collection. This was my first Christmas House Romances stories. I love stately homes and would love to see the inside of a house like Yuletide Manor--it sounded so elegant and beautiful. I really liked Hunter and Natalie and all of their interactions. This isn't a second chance romance but to me it had those kind of vibes since Natalie and Hunter knew each other in school and had to overcome a past hurt.

This is a sweet romance with just kisses and perfect for reading during the holidays.

I love this series of sweet Christmas romance stories. As only Jennifer can deliver, this story if full of humor, sweet romance, second chances and Christmas magic. Natalie and Hunter met in High School but had a very unfortunate accident happen which left Natalie upset. So when they meet up years later and have to work together you will get to se all the crazy things they had to go through. I love the way that Jennifer comes up with fun ways to forgive and forget. The characters in this story are wonderful and it is a delightful addition to this wonderful series! Grab this book and enjoy!

I enjoyed this Christmas novella about a young woman who returns home to plan her younger sister's wedding when their older sister is put on bedrest before the birth of her baby. Hunter Hawthorn owns Yuletide Manor where the wedding will be held and has felt guilty about his teenage response to Natalie's love declaration years ago. Emotions are tense between Hunter and Natalie as they plan the wedding! Natalie's young nephew is a sweetheart! This is a sweet Christmas romance involving a historic mansion. I recommend Yuletide Manor to others.

Artisan baker Natalie Tanner returns home to help when her sister is on bedrest for her pregnancy and they must help plan their sister’s wedding. The wedding will take place at Yuletide Manor and she must work with Hunter Hawthorne with whom she had a bad experience in high school. As they work together, he discovers she is like no other woman he has ever known. She’s afraid to trust him because of their past. This is an interesting and touching Christmas story about trust and communication.

Such a sweet Christmas romance. Ms. Griffith's series of Christmas books are always a delight to read. Yuletide Manor sounds like such a beautiful place. I liked Natalie and Hunter and rooted for them to have their happily ever after in the manor. I was glad they could overcome past hurts to form their relationship and bond. A wonderful read for the Christmas season. Or anytime really.

Hunter owes Natalie an apology because of something that happened back when they were in school. When he gets the chance to apologize, it heals a lot of hurts and with forgiveness, comes an emotional connection. Massey Falls is full of Christmas Spirit, bossy women and sweet romance. I like Natalie and her sisters, they are close, closer since the loss of both parents but always happy to help each other when needed.

This romance has Jennifer Griffith’s signature humor and extremely like-able characters.

The themes of finding out the truth behind the hurt, followed by the lightness of forgiveness, made this story relatable and gave a little tug to the heartstrings.

There is lots of clean romance with some great kisses, but it’s not all about the physical…there are good reasons to believe that this relationship will stand the test of time.

A wonderful prequel to the series!

Natalie Tanner returns to her hometown to help her younger sister plan her wedding and runs into Hunter Hawthorn, her most humiliating interaction from high school. While Natalie would prefer to never see or speak to Hunter again, Hunter is just as determined to bring up the past and ask for forgiveness. Both of them have lived with the scars of their interaction for the past decade. This is a beautiful and moving story of family, forgiveness and old and new dreams. I truly loved this story!

Natalie and Hunter are pushed together as adults after a bad meeting from high school that caused an unpleasant experience for Natalie. Planning her sister’s wedding without her both of her sister’s help allows her to rely on Hunter for help. A reconnection that leads to forgiveness and love and a HEA.

Yuletide Manor is a delightful, clean, small town romance. Ms. Griffith's Christmas romances are always such a pleasure to read. Natalie and Hunter has t o face issues from their pasts before they could progress to an HEA. This well written book is full of Christmas time fun and cheer, a grump or two, a beautiful wedding and swoony kisses. I loved every minute of reading it!

I read this story under the Christmas Kisses and Holiday Wishes book which included 12 books from different authors. This was my first book by this author.

Overall I liked the story however it was repetitve regarding Hunter and Natalie not staying in Massey Falls. I got it the first 50 times.

Also, the epilogue was a disappointment because it was actually a prologue for another book.

Now they are thrown together to help plan a wedding at that dream home she still loved. It took a lot of patience and explaining the real story before they could forget and forgive

Fun story with plenty of Christmas

A butcher a baker a candlestick maker, we're I guess you will have to settle for the baker in this last book of a series of ten. The author says the books can be read in any order. That is good news since I started with this one and now want to read the rest.

Kisses only.

This was the first book that I’ve read in this series. Natalie was quite insecure and the “big reveal” about what went down between Natalie and Hunter was a bit of a letdown.

When arranging Natalie's sister's wedding, a baker (Natalie) and a soon-to-be professor (Hunter) who had gone to school together and experienced heartbreak reconnect. Hunter wants to make things right. I really enjoyed reading about Natalie and Hunter and trying to figure out what exactly went wrong. Jennifer Griffith did a fantastic job once more.
