Never had I had the urge to flung a recipe book across the room.

Really disappointing, have tried several of the recipes, with the vague cooking instructions and measurements, have had food wastage or overcooked and undercooked components to the meal. A waste of time and money for the outcome of these recipes.

I get the impression that this book is a ploy to purchase their wares and plug their company, and greengroceries rather than actual cooking.
A nice idea about putting into seasons, shame about the outcome.

A juggling act with my own cooking experience/ instinct and the instruction.

This cookery book helps you to bring out the best of seasonal ingredients. It's an inspiring book that encourages experimentation - Keith starts the book explaining how you can swap vegetables - so a potato in a recipe can be traded with a turnip, celeriac, sweet potato etc.,Just reading this book you feel healthier and more virtuous, albeit this is not necessarily a low-fat book. The pictures are great.

Favourite recipes include: Baked beetroot, Aubergine finished with Soy and Sesame. Venison on Kale with a Port Reduction!

Most used recipe in this book is beef and pointy cabbage pie, page 35 and shredded brussels and bacon, page 200.
Even hardened cabbage haters gobble up pointy cabbage pie.
There are many recipes in here that I have used, or intend to use. Some of my cookbooks, after an initial flick through, sit on the shelf unused, especially if I have bought them on the internet and so had not flicked through first, but not this one.
