Absolutely adore this manga, one of my current favorites <3 Single dad + son's teacher + cute dates + family outing? BEST EVER. I'm game always if a story has these themes and aspects. And the fourth volume of Delinquent Daddy and Tender Teacher is the coziest, cutest story that provides this and so much more.

I love that we see the romance develop more and more. We have seen so much development and growth between the main couple!! They have a key for their apartments, go on holidays together, thinking about a future together, moving in and stuff like that. I am so excited to see more about these two and their lil boy!!! I love this family so much yallll

This is such a filler. I feel like there's no progress in the story or their characters at all. I like the bonus chapter about their high school time, though!

These characters are slowly moving forward in every aspect of their relationship and as always, it's so sweet to see. Stakes are low, but also very realistic.

It was nice to get a bonus story of how these two first met as teens too.

Devoured, as always.

I love this series so much and I'm so happy we got a new volume! In this one explores insecurities that can sometimes come up in relationships we think we don't deserve. I liked how these two characters worked through that and communicated, while also moving forward in their relationship.

There isn't much I can't say because of spoilers and it's further into the series, but this was just as cute as before. Even as things start to change and get a bit more serious when their secret relationship moves that forward step into maybe not being as secret.

I'm excited to see what's next for this couple! I'm loving their growth, not just as a couple but their independent growth as characters.

Happy reading!

This series is so wholesome and spicy at the same time. I mean, outside sex?! 🤯

I adore the characters and their relationships. The father-son bond, the kind-of stepfather bond with the son, the communication and love between the two MLs... It's just so effing cute. I'm glad I found this series, and I'm looking forward to reading the next one.

This series is pretty low stakes but I find is cute and nice. Very sweet slice of life. The kid didn’t bug me as much in this volume. That other teacher/body guard is hot.

Not sure if this will turn into the favorite series I'd thought it was going to be, but this volume was super cute and helped address some of the issues I'd had with the previous one.

First of all, so much communication! This time Hatoyama didn't leave any room for himself or Hitsuji to stew: he noticed and was unhappy with Hitsuji's self-deprecating comments about his status in their relationship, and he brought it up in the first moment that seemed appropriate. Hitsuji, in turn, was sad that Hatoyama seemed sad about it, so he looped back to that discussion later on to reiterate the strength of his own feelings, too.

That's pretty much all I'd wanted from volume 3! Things progress so much more smoothly when they actually speak to each other. And the other little communication gaps have solid reasons behind them. Hatoyama isn't exactly trying to hide his house-hunting from Hitsuji, but he also doesn't want to put any pressure on him about moving in together. He respects Hitsuji's initial rejection on that front but starts taking steps to create a space where it will be possible for Hitsuji to comfortably become a family with them in the future, whenever he is ready.

Hatoyama's becoming not only a good father, but a good partner, too. It's a nice progression.

And finally there's some insight into why Hitsuji had said no to begin with. It doesn't make a ton of rational sense, but emotionally it does: he's so afraid of losing the great thing that they currently have, he kind of wants to freeze time and just remain exactly as they are. Moving in together is a big beautiful step that feels like too much too soon, disrupting the content little bubble he's terrified will eventually pop.

That's the relationship insecurity that Hatoyama finally noticed, so I'm glad they were able to talk through it. And by the final chapter, he noticed, too, how much more Hitsuji was finally opening up and expressing his needs, even about silly little things like wanting to join in on feeding the sheep at the zoo. They're becoming such a lovely family.

Not sure what the complications will be from here on out: maybe telling Hinata about the two of them, addressing the issue of how it will affect Hitsuji's work, and potentially meeting the extended families?

Samejima's appearances in this volume were nice, and I liked that Hinata was finally forming a little bond with him, too, on a different level. He can like and be friends with his new teacher without losing his connection to Hitsuji - which I think he would be more secure about if he was told that Hitsuji is a whole lot more connected to their family at this point. Does he think it's normal for teachers to go on week-long resort vacations with their students' fathers?

Still wouldn't mind a little bit more insight into Samejima's relationship with the boss, but we'll see if that's coming. They just had a few minor appearances here, with Hatoyama finding out about their relationship. And we got to see a little of how Hatoyama and Hitsuji met back during school, and how the initial one-sided attraction had formed. That part wasn't anything particularly unique but was still cute. Hatoyama's always been a gruff-looking, kind-hearted guy who's not the brightest but does his best. It's a cute little balance.

This seems to be the conclusion of this Japanese story about working people falling in love. Hitsuji is still struggling to accept he is worthy of being in a relationship. He's such a good person. Hatoyama does his best to convince him that he is worthy of love. Hatoyama's son, Hinata is struggling with his new teacher, but with some help, it looks like he is finally accepting his new teacher.

Hatoyama is working many shifts trying to save money up to buy a home. He's tired and his son misses him.

This is basically a slice of life type of story. The story could go on, but this feels like the last volume. The two are happy together I think it won't be long before they are living together. They seem to have finally come to a place of understanding with each other. It's a lovely story and I enjoyed this one.

I’m absolutely loving that the pace of this series has slowed down! It now fits more with my preferred style of slice of life! There’s not too much tension in the narrative, but Hatoyama and Hitsuji still have issues in their relationship to deal with.

In this volume, the two main characters really contend with getting each other on the same page about how they feel for each other. Sure, they’ve said they love each other before, but the depth of feeling is ambiguous to them. They work through that, in no uncertain terms, in this volume.

Anyway. I also really enjoyed being able to see both Hitsuji and Hinata as waiters! They’re adorable 💖

So glad I decided to stick with this series despite my original uncertainty because of the fast pace of the first two volumes 🤩

More of a 3.5 star rating;
While there was some more communication issues, this was still a very sweet and wholesome volume. Hitsuji and Hatoyama are still being adorable and little Hinata is still unsure of his new teacher. Speaking of, the new teacher: Samejima has been a cute addition to the storyline and I’m really glad that he ended up as a friend to everyone, and not a love rival. With a lot of reassurance and some strong declarations, I’m very excited to read the next volume and see how Hitsuji and Hatoyama continue to progress as a couple.

cute, but a little boring. Not much happened this volume even the little growth in the relationship just felt like not enough for a full volume. I wasn't really interested until the very end with the bonus stories. Also wasn't expecting the ass eating outdoors?? clutching my pearls lol. Idk what more I want to happen in this series. It's a nice read if you just want some low stakes fluff.

Hatoyama is about as good of a patient when he gets sick as Hitsuji was. They both struggle with accepting help in some ways, and yet clearly enjoy having time together and can function as a cohesive unit, too. Hatoyama goes to some pretty extreme measures to get through to Hitsuji so they're both finally on the same page, or at least seem to be. Slowly making plans as everyone continues to grow.

This one was really cute again! Loved everything about this little family and their progress. All three grow closer together, but at the same time it feels like the calm before the storm - as if something will happen soon. The only little weird thing was the action on the street .. bc just why? Definitely a favourite BL series!

I don't feel too many new ideas were introduced in this volume, but the story continues to be very cute and heartfelt! It was nice to see a bit of flashback expanding on Hitsuji and Hatoyama's relationship in high school. Also, everything with Samejima is pretty funny, like damn small world lol.

This series continues to be absolutely adorable. I love how bad boy Keichi is so open about his feelings and how different is from the perceptions people have from him.

I keep expecting more angst but so far there is hardly any and it was just what I needed this evening 😍

I’m such a dummy, I accidentally skipped book 3 and read book 4 instead thinking it was the third one 😂😭😭

Either way this was still a 5 star read. I loved every page of it regardless haha. Now I gotta read the RIGHT VOLUME😂

The name of this series makes it seem so naughty but it’s really wholesome and sweet! There are spicy scenes here and there but it’s nothing like some of the bl I’ve read in the past LOL.
