With a name like Sabrina, I embrace all things spooky. I love black cats, haunted houses, and crisp, fall nights that send a tingle down your spine. I never pass up a chance to celebrate Halloween, but at the dark and decadent costume party at Club Red, I might be in over my head, witch's hat and all.

I've been to the male revue club before, but tonight it's full of dozens more men, mingling among the crowd, all of them so gorgeous it's scary.

There's one dressed as a vampire who, when he invites me to dance, digs his thick fingers into my hip and his fangs into my neck.

A dancer in a skin-tight skeleton bodysuit shows me moves that make me want to jump his bones.

The playful mad scientist's costume would be comical, if it weren't for the way his open lab coat reveals his exquisitely chiseled torso.

Most frightening of all, there's the horned demon, with his dark eyes and tempting mouth. He wants to possess me, and I'm afraid I might let him.

These four men have my head spinning and my pulse pounding, and then I realize they might not be what they seem.

I don't know if it's a trick or much more treat than I can possibly handle.

Las historias de Stephanie sabes lo que tienen y ésta no es menos. Es breve y no está mal, una introducción suficiente a la historia, pero habría estado bien un poco más de acción después.

Entiendo que en esta colección de relatos cortos esto es lo que hay, y bueno, Halloween es una buena época para lecturas breves y extrañas. 🎃

Honestly this was a little boring for a Halloween RH novella. I was expecting more. Aside from the fact that they were in costume there isn’t anything Halloween-y about it. The chemistry was lacking between the five of them. The sex scenes were boring. The angst in the beginning was good though. Sure she did forget she was in love with her roommates when these hot “dancers”, who didn’t even strip, showed up.

BRBN Autumn Bingo: A Book with Halloween within the Text.

This is my first experience reading any books by the talented author Stephanie Brother. This novella was a great introduction to both the author's work and the genre of literature to which it belongs. The story was set at a Halloween party, which was held at Club Red, and the main action between the five main characters was much more than I expected or read before. I was left extremely hot under the collar!

Brother's writing style is very spicy and hot, with vividly described scenes that left little to the imagination. The characters were well-developed, and their interactions were both intriguing and entertaining, making it difficult to put the book down.

However, it's important to note that this book is unsuitable for minors due to its mature content. It's a steamy read that should only be enjoyed by adults. It's definitely not a book that you want to read out loud unless you're in the company of like-minded individuals!

Overall, the book "After Dark, Trick and Treat" was an eye-opening read, and it has left me eager to read more from the series and other works by the author. I highly recommend this book to anyone who is a fan of spicy, well-written literature that will keep you entertained from beginning to end.

If you are looking for a quick Halloween read, this is one to add to your list.
Also if you have a fantasy about having multiple men then this book is for you.
The book is predictable with what happens but still makes it a fun read.
Sabrina has a crush on all FOUR of her housemates but gets the vibe that they see her as a "sister". It makes her frustrated but she deals with it and is jealous about the other women that might be getting their attention instead.

She gets invited out by her boss and ends up meeting his girlfriend, who also has 3 other boyfriends. She is in AWE about how it works. They go to a club called Club Red and it's a strip show tease basically. Sabrina is loosening up and enjoying herself- dancing, flirting, and even some public display sexy time. She then finds out all the men have been her roommates and they all end up back at home and let out all that pent up frustration.
The spice was there- I would say 3/5 on spice.

Short and spicy

Imagine you've had a deep crush on all for of your roommates, for five years! Then, one night, you get invited to a club Halloween party, only to discover four hot dancers, dressed up for the holiday, start pursuing you. You're turned on by all four, wondering how much of this "fantasy" is real.

By the time the fourth man has grabbed you and whisked you off, you're hot to have them, but also a bit frightened by the ferocity of it all. When the three other men find you and man four, you're whirling with lust, fear, confusion.

The revelation that these men are your roommates, have all been in love with you from the start, and kept in casual because they didn't want to see you leave, makes it a night for confession. Of course, she reveals her love for them as well as her need to not ruin the friendship or to choose just one man.

With all this love, the only solution is to share in their love with a five person relationship.

Stephanie Brother is the queen of reverse harem romance.

This story is quick and hot when Xander, Victor, Jack and Damien take advantage of a Halloween night at the Club Red male review. They have been Sabrina’s housemates for five years. Sabrina has had a crush on them the whole time, but knew that her crush would mean she would have to move out until her boss introduces her to his partner Autumn who who is in a polyamorous relationship with four men, she then invites Sabrina to Club Red where she meets four sexy guys who do all kinds of fun things to her until she realises that they are her housemates. They come clean and tell her that they have been in love with her for a long time. Seb lets them know that she feels the same, and they enjoy a night of hot, steamy living, which then leads to a happily ever after.

I was given an advanced copy of this book to read and I am reviewing with my honest and fair opinion.

This story is proof that we don't always need a long story to have a fantastic Stephanie Brother experience.

When do we decide to be friends and nothing more? That seemed to be a dilemma our five main characters had to deal with for years. Honestly, I can't blame them.

I love how we are back at Club Red and for one night only Xander, Jack, Victor, and Damien get to pull those Magic Mike moves incognito to Sabrina. Of course, they didn't know she would be in the audience and she didn't know they would be in the lineup either.

Things begin to heat up just as we, the readers would want, right there at Club Red but move to their place for more privacy. Thank goodness! I was worried someone might catch them.

I am most definitely on team "why choose"!

A Club Red Novella still packs a steamy punch even if it's not a full length story. Sabrina has been living with her four roommates since college, her four gorgeous roommates: Xander, Damien, Victor and Jack. It's been five years and she's beginning to think that the attraction is one way and that they all live in the friend zone. When she's invited to the costume party at Club Red she takes a chance to get out and have some fun. While at the party she meets 4 sexy dancers: a vampire, a mad scientist, a skeleton and a devil. Things heat up with each dancer and suddenly Sabrina is getting some of her wildest fantasies come to life. It's a short, sweet and sexy romp in true Stephanie Brother style.

A wonderful seasonal novella! Just in time for spooky season.

Four After Dark was kind of cheesy, but super steamy, easy to read, and enjoyable for its’ Halloween themes and costumed play.

If you’re in the mood for a light-hearted, low-angst, quick and easy themed read I think it’s a great way to kickstart your spooky book season.

Sabrina has had a crush on her 4 roommates for a while. Unfortunately, she thinks they only think of her as a sister or friend.
She ends up going to a party, and gets quite the treat. 😉
I thought it was the perfect length. It moved pretty quickly, so it keeps you interested.
We get men in costumes, a bit of humor and steam.
It was the perfect short and spicy read and just in time for Halloween!

Spooky fun and enjoyment

Sabrina has had the hots for Damien, Jack, Xander and Victor since she moved In to their house. But alas a relationship with any of them was not on the cards as they treated her like a sibling. Fun is in store for Halloween as Sabrina can expect some spooky fun and surprises. As always I loved this book. The characters were great and it's always good to see some past characters in there.

Bewitched by four men

I’m always down for four guys and a girl book and Stephanie Brother always delivers. Crazy to learn your boss is in a relationship and three other share. You then go to the club and cast under a spell by four men later to discover they are your roommates. She gets to ride several broomsticks whom she happens to love. A great tie into Halloween theme and spice with roommates.

Another excellent read from this author. I had to go back and start the series from the start as they go in order somewhat. I recommend it too. It was a fun, exciting, sexy, emotional and so much more. She has so much fun on her journey and finds out she needs more from them than she knew. All of her roommates. This is my favorite author. a quick, easy read. there's not much to it - given that it's a novella. there's no character or plot development, just a bit of spice.

sabrina has been in love with her roommates for years but won't act on her feelings because she doesn't want to choose just one of them. she ends up going to a club to distract herself and has a few interactions with different men in costumes. she finds herself attracted to them and thinks they'll be a good distraction from her roommates... however, it turns out they are actually her roommates and they recognised her straight away - they just couldn't resist her. they have been fighting their attraction for years since they made a deal that none of them could have her but they finally agree to share her and they all have some fun together...

It was a quick and easy novella read . I was a little disappointed because I thought it’d be a little darker based on the blurb and the Halloween theme, like some of the other Halloween novellas ive read this year, but in reality, it was more cute/sweet than anything, which is definitely okay just not quite what i was expecting . It was good though, the steamy scenes were alright .

Sabrina is an extremely lucky lady. She lives with four hotties whom she regularly has fantasies about. But they all treat her as a sister, unfortunately. Until a Halloween party at Club Red. They treat her like a sister, but Sabby has a secret she has been in love with them all for years. Quick Halloweeny read. Super fast paced within hours I would say the storyline is. The characters had some description, enough that I could imagine them and their personality’s. The spicy scene was okay. It wasn’t the best or the worst I’ve read. For it being the guys first time sharing I can understand.
