About the author

Irina Korschunow was a German author of both children's book and adult literature. The daughter of a Russian father and a German mother, she became an outsider under the National Socialist regime. After World War II, she studied German, English and Theatre in Göttingen and Munich.

She won a number of awards both for her children's and young adult books as well as for the work aimed at an adult audience, which became less and less autobiographical over the course of her career.

EL libro tiene un tono muy oscuro y explora muy bien la depresión adolescente, el miedo al futuro y el suicidio. Pienso que una valía importante del libro es la forma en cómo presta atención a los problemas sistemáticos y estructurales que hacen que un adolescente no pueda soportar el peso del mundo. En ese sentido el libro es impecable, con pasajes durísimos en torno a los padres y a los maestros.
El final deja qué desear, pero se entiende porque igual hay que dar esperanza (?).

Das Buch ist nicht schlecht, aber im Allgemeinen passiert nichts besonderes. Die Sprache ist klar und schlicht und deshalb bereitete mir das Lesen Vergnügen. Ich gebe 3.5⭐ weil die Vibes mir gefallen.

El libro nos situa en el momento en que el personaje principal de nombre Martin tienen que lidiar con el duelo de la perdida de su mejor amigo Cristof, cuya muerte es un misterio, ya que se sospecha de un asesinato, y hasta de un suicidio. La historia no tiene una cronología lineal, sino que va jugando situándonos en distintos momentos de su línea de tiempo, con ello nos permite dar un vistazo a la forma de vida de los personajes, las relaciones con sus familias, sus dramas de adolescentes, y su lucha por encontrar una identidad y una ideología. Todo ello para ir analizando, despejando hechos y entender lo que le ha ocurrido realmente a Cristof.

Ich bin ziemlich froh, dass ich dieses Buch ausgraben konnte. Meine Mutter hat es in ihren Jugendjahren gelesen und irgendwie bin ich ohne jegliche Erwartung rangegangen. Das Buch war irgendwie mal was ganz anderes und hatte doch so viele Wahrheiten in sich.
Wem "Nichts was im Leben wichtig ist" gefallen hat, sollte sich meiner Meinung nach auch mal dieser Lektüre widmen

Well this book is very wierd, It's about three teenagers and their problems, it focus on Cristof's best friend, well I say best friend but he is his only friend and how the relationship between them develop.
