Book 5 of the Best-selling Full Circle Series
Alexana is willing to risk her life to make history.
And nothing--not even love--will stand in her way.

As supervisor of the historically significant Solomon’s Stables dig, archaeologist Alexana Rourke--grad school friend of Dr. Christina Alvarez ( Treasure )--knows she is in serious danger. Yet she is determined that nothing will impede her excavation under the Temple Mount, not even the concern of handsome, world-renowned news correspondent Ridge McIntyre. Her stubbornness, however, could well cost Alexana a future with the man she loves--and possibly even her life.

Although this is listed as Christian Fiction, it has quite a bit of intrigue and mystery, and some violence. It is book five in a series of six, but not the type of book I usually read or really enjoy. Having been to Israel and Jerusalem twice, I did enjoy the references to the location.

The characters in this book remain fairly felt and the main character is actually fairly exasperating in her stubbornness that repeatedly puts her into danger and in her inability to take advice from anyone. I do appreciate the placement of the story in Jerusalem and the discussion, tangential as it is at points, about the disputed religious issues present in the area surrounding Jerusalem. Readers who are interested in the setting will find this book to be an interesting read.

Alexsana Rourke is in archaeologist living and working in Jerusalem. Her good reputation with both the Jews and Palestinians has opened up doors for her work. In the process, she is kidnapped several times and yet manages to fall in love with handsome reporter, Ridge McIntrye and share her faith with him.

I loved, loved, loved this book!!! ❤️❤️❤️ Seeing as a Biblical Archeologist is my dream job, this book pulled me in right from the start! The suspense, romance, tough choices, and wondering whether Alexsana was following God or giving into her pride, man, what a rollercoaster of emotions! I also found the theme of salvation so beautiful, and even though I know this was fiction, I couldn't help but pray that Ridge would come to faith. I also loved Alexsana's priorities and boundaries in dating and marriage. I wish there were more books that set such a good example on waiting for the right man that God has in store for you, someone who loves God just as much as you do. Amazing read!

This one seems completely different than the rest of the series, and I'd have to say, it's my least favorite. The story between Ridge and Alexana was drowned out by the setting in Jerusalem and the political upheaval. I'd rate it 2.5/5 stars. If you find the history of Jerusalem interesting, you'll like this book. I'd recommend reading the rest of the series, though, even if Chosen may not be for you.

I really liked this book as I have always been interested in archaelogy especially biblical and Egyptian. I felt the relationship between Alexana and Ridge was well developed. Looking forward to reading other books in this series.

Overboard on the evangelizing. I understand this is a Christian series, the other books all had some talk of Christianity and such, but this book too it too far for me. I'm debating not continuing the series.

Not as good as the other books in the series. I didn't care for the settings or some of the characters.
