I bought this on Naomi Klein's recommendation, but it didn't live up to its promise. It never seemed to have a clear sense of what it wanted to do, and so it would meander without unity for page after page. I finally gave up.

A public library discovery. Just digging in, but so far it seems an outstanding and fresh North American take on our continental expression of empire.
