A good introduction for children to lives of the Native Americans of the two Americas as well as the native people of the Arctic part of Europe.

Although heavily illustrated, disjointed prose abounded which really frustrated my kids. This book was recommended for my kids' Dialectic homeschool history studies.

This book is four books bound in one title each with a separate title page and glossary. There are half a dozen crafts per book for kids to do. The text isn't super compact so I'd say its at the reading level of a child ages 10-12.
