Akira Amano is the author and mangaka of the shonen manga Katekyo Hitman Reborn!
Amano began in 1998 with a job at Weekly Young Magazine. She also held a job at Shueisha Publishing Co, Ltd. In 2002, Amano participated in a contest for aspiring mangaka and was one of the lucky winners, with her comic Monkey Business published in Young Magazine. In 2004, she finally found success with the humourous and classy manga Katekyo Hitman Reborn! (or, for short, just Reborn!), and that thanks to her readers' support. This new manga was advertised more and more in Shonen Jump and became a hit. Two years later, her manga was made into an anime series by Artland studios.
Her ideas for Reborn!: Amano had some crazy ideas to entertain readers with. She came up with weird characters to add spice to the humour, a story written especially to be unique, and fast-paced action.

Reborn!, Vol. 13 continues where the previous tankōbon left off and contains the next nine chapters (99–107) of the on-going manga series.
The battle for the Rain Ring continues. Takeshi Yamamoto shows the Shigure Souen Style, a swordsmanship style which allows him to manipulate the water from the underground. Superbi Squalo reveals that he already knows that style, and both develop their own variations. Yamamoto creates a ninth technique of his style and defeats Squalo, who is attacked by a shark as punishment of his defeat.
Before the next fight, Tsunayoshi "Tsuna" Sawada sees Chikusa Kakimoto and Ken Jōshima, and thinks the Mist Guardian will be Mukuro Rokudō from the former Kokuyo Gang, but instead a girl called Chrome Dokuro appears. She fights against Arcobaleno Mammon, and both create illusions to fight, but Chrome is severely injured.
Tsuna is then told of how Chrome had lost most her organs and that Mukuro has been sustaining her life. With Chrome unable to continue the fight, Mukuro appears in his own form and takes Chrome's place in the fight against Mammon.
This tankōbon is written and illustrated by Akira Amano. It continues the Varia arc as the battle for the Vongola Rings continues. The battle of the Rain Ring is concluded with Takeshi Yamamoto winning over Superbi Squalo and the battle of the Mist Ring starts with Mukuro Rokudō and Chrome Dokuro battling against Mammon.
All in all, Reborn!, Vol. 13 is a wonderful continuation to a series that seems really intriguing and I can't wait to read more.
another good volume with a few unexpected twists. there were some reappearances from the previous arc which i did not expect to happen so soon. slightly amazed at how terrible some new characters names are since they are named after herbs. also the fight of this volume was fairly decent and lived up to the hype generated by an earlier encounter between the characters. overall a pretty good volume with some interesting set up, will be interesting to see how the arc resolves itself as well as what the ultimate outcome for the tournament is.

In the volume they are still battling. Yamamoto is battling Squalo using Shigure technique. (who wins you would have to read to find out. After that match there is another match setup for the mist guardians. Who will be the member that supports Tsuna. It is a surprise that only reborn knows who it is.
Also Tsuna father goes to rescue the head of the Vongola what happens you would have to read.
There are so many different twist and turns in this volume with the battling and people being not what you think. If you love reborn like I do then I suggest you read this volume. Lots of action and surprises.
This volume gets through the entirety of Yamamoto's fight and the majority of the Mist Guardian's fight. I don't want to ruin any surprises as to who the Mist Guardian actually is. But I will admit that this person is pretty awesome and a person that we have run across before. I am quite glad that this character gets to return and show how powerful they actually are.
It almost makes you wonder about Tsuna's abilities...
3.5 This vol starts off with Yamamoto continuing his fight with Squalo. The battle was entertaining enough to read, but I felt some part were predictable. Still a good battle and a nice ending to it. The vol really starts picking up though, when the Guardian of Mist arrives! The battle is well done and there are simply a good amount of twists when we get to this part of the vol.
I really enjoyed this one, not only for the fighting but for the inter-family intrigue, as we start to learn more about the politics and betrayals within the Vongola that led to the battle for the rings in the first place.
