Dive into book nine of this women's fiction series set on the Island of Nantucket. A glorious world of beautiful beaches, frothing waves, cobblestone streets, and a beloved cast of characters. The series tells the story of the Copperfield Family, their return to Nantucket Island, and their healing after decades of pain and loneliness. Together, they can be better than ever before.
Katie writes women's fiction and clean, wholesome contemporary romance. She looks to everyday, real-life family issues to weave stories of heartfelt emotions, love and loss, and everything in between.
Come transport yourself to Martha's Vineyard: an island of vivid blue ocean, white sand, and a lively community of locals, who celebrate everything from the bright New England summers to the cold, yet cozy, snowcapped winters.
Anna must learn to be a single mother after losing her fiance Dean in an accident. She has the support of her family while she lives in the Copperfield Mansion. In a way, the house is almost like a womb, protecting all who find their way within. Some new characters include Violet, Dean's mother, and loner Smith and his dog Luka, who move in to work on his memoir with Anna's mother Julia. The common thread for many of these people is coping with the past and fearing the future. I found the storyline to be very interesting and I loved the way people made an effort to improve their lives. As always, love of family is an essential part of the Copperfield life.
Wow! This was quite a story! I knew it would be a tear jerker because it's all about Anna and her pregnancy with her deceased fiance's baby. But adding in a slightly off mother in law (Violet), a quirky writer with some interest in Anna (Smith), and the Copperfield House - it was a fantastic story. I loved the relationship between Violet and Smith and how Anna's relationship with both changed so much over the story. It's a true coming of age story and how their lives can come full circle and still believe in love!
You will need a ton of tissues to get through this amazing book! I don’t know how she does it, but Katie Winters delivers 5-star books one after the other. I swear, each book is better than the one before!
A Winter Miracle is incredible from start to finish. The storyline is incredible; the characters literally steal your breath away; the plot twists and turns keep you scratching your head; and the HEA is simply stupendous! You need to grab a copy today. (I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book and was totally blown away by it!) ❤️❤️❤️
Anna was left pregnant after the death of her fiancé. She returns to Copperfield house for support. Young writer Smith, one of Julia’s projects is at the house writing him memoir. Another arrival includes Violet, who would have been Anna’s mother in law. When baby Adam arrives, Anna embraces motherhood with the help of her family. Smith and Anna spend time together and begin having feelings for each other.
Violet has demons to face, as does Smith. Will either of them be able to look to the future?
Thank you to the author for this ARC. This review is my honest opinion.
WoW! A Winter’s Miracle may be my all-time favorite by Katie Winters! Her stories give me a good peaceful feeling. I was wondering when we would get back to Anna! Katie Winters presents everyday circumstances and tragedy for me in a hopeful way. She presents strong characters who do not always know their true ability in the beginning. However, with “blood” family and what makes a “family”, the characters are able to survive and succeed. I like that her books are a series and I get to revisit my “book friends” again. This book is superb! The only drawback for new readers is that this is Book 9 in the series and I would recommend starting at the beginning!
A Winter’s Miracle is book 9 in the Nantucket Sunset series by Katie Winters. It good to be back in Nantucket.
This series continues to show us how life throws curve balls and how we handle life and find the happiness we deserve. Tears, twists, turns, family and more come our way…
I voluntarily read an advanced reader copy (ARC) of this book from the author. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
A beautifully written story of sadness, loss and survival. As Anna enters into motherhood, she struggles with her grief. As new people enter the Copperfield House, the drama ensues. A lonely and hurting Smith could be the future that Anna needs.
The struggles and strife that life throws at the Copper fields and the growing family brings truths and more undetstarnding with each turn of the page. I smiled. I teared up. I loved it!
Another great chapter in TBE life of the Copperfields. It is Anna story and how she overcomes the loss of Dean and her mothers marries her childhood sweatheart.
Love all the twists and turns of stories within a story. Excellent in all respects. Amazing how the relationships became out of heartache and also loss.
I love this series’ stories and characters but the editor needs to make another pass at this book and the one before. Names were switched of important characters.
