Just as the first HeroQuest book, this one is enjoyable and surprisingly good for a game tie-in-novel where half the book is given over to quests for the game. The story bears little resemblance to the game this time, and I find the ending was a bit flat - but the build-up is exiting and the world building fairly interresting. Well worth the very little time it takes to read if you're a fan of high fantasy murder mysteries.
