Everything you ever wanted to know about the Titanic and then some! Bits of trivia, detailed info, first hand accounts, charts and so much more. As of the production of this book (1997) only about 6 people left from that tragic journey. Learned about the all the new safety measures that came about because of the tragedy. And a surprise for me. Hitler had film produced to show Germans in a positive light being heroes on the Titanic.

These books really aren't for necessarily dummies, they're for people that are particularly intrigued or fascinated with a subject and craving to know more. This book, I read it thoroughly several years ago when going through a 'Titanic' history phase displays many aspects of the sinking that I never knew about. This entire series is well written.

I read this a long time ago and got such a kick out of it. Don't let the name mislead you; this book is meant for anyone who has an interest in learning all about the Titanic. The book may be a little dated (and slightly inaccurate), but I still look at it every now and then for a chuckle.
