Done with feeling trapped and helpless, Harley and Ezra are ready to fight for what belongs to them and escape the monster who caged them.
In the public eye, their success and fame continues to rise. Behind closed doors, their path is filled with uncertainty, fear and tough decisions.
But they refuse to take it anymore. No more hiding. And no longer will they be controlled. Their fires have been lit as they fight for their love, to heal, and find freedom once and for all.
Send Help is no longer willing to roll with the punches. It’s time to land some of their own… And burn real hot…
This is their story, and no one will take it from them.
Eve is an avid lover of coffee, getting lost in fictional worlds, crafting and ducks. She lives in a small town in Atlantic Canada with a bunch of animals and plans to get many more, much to her family and friends dismay.
When she’s not writing or trying to get ducks to love her, she can usually be found fantasizing about living in a tree house, riding her horses, and exploring Nova Scotia.
Eve enjoys a challenge, and will gladly turn the strangest writing prompt into a book. There’s much more to come, we’re just getting started!
A small, soft smile forms on his lips. “I’m always going to take care of you, Harley. I never have to take care of you. I chose you. Every part of you, remember?”
He raises his eyebrows at me, waiting for me to agree. I nod and his smile widens. “Even on your best days, I’m going to take care of you. Because I love you, and I’m here.
For everything.”
And so with Remastered, Burn Hot is finally able to burn as hot as their hearts' desire without any constraint, restraint, or complaint. Vindicated from their vile management team that had dictated all their entertainment needs, commandeered all their personal relationships, and silently stealing from their profits. But, with perseverance and guidance and most importantly, love and the will to continue pursuing their dreams, Harley and Ezra finally have their moment to break free and sing their songs from their heart to each other without prejudice or fear or judgment or complaint. 🎶
“We’re going to figure out a way to get out of all of this. Remember, we need hope, Harley.”
My voice catches as I say, “Please. Please have hope with me.”
Still, feeling the overwhelming burden of what their group has to face, Harley's battle is not yet over; but, he gets there. With Ezra, a constant guiding light at his side, he gets the help that he needs and finds ways to fight the anxious thoughts - his doubts and insecurities - that threaten to hurt his mindset. Ezra really does have a heart of gold - he was always so considerate, compassionate, and so openly understanding of Harley's situation - forever forgiving, helping out in whatever way he could, doesn't even bat an eye when he breaks down in front of him, and allows him to let it all out. 🥺 I liked that Harley never took advantage of his kindness - he saw how much it did affect them both, and it even spurred him on to be better for the both of them. 🫶🏻🫶🏻
But, Ezra wasn't without his own share of individual struggles and the moment when he allowed himself to let those emotions go - when Harley confronted him - was a great scene and I'm glad he did confront him about it. It showed that even as easy it is for Harley to shed his tears and be vulnerable in Ezra's eyes, so too did he give that same level of trust to Ezra. It wasn't only just sexy hot times that they shared a passion for. It was their willingness and readiness to talk about what bothered them - not hiding the hurt or shielding each other from what was troubling them that showed how healthy their relationship was. ❤️🩹❤️🩹 And they had to be strong - facing enough backlash from their own agency would have taken a toll on anyone, but they had such a strong band of friends that never once allowed them to ever feel that they were facing this alone. 🥹
“Because one thing I do know is I never want to let any of these guys go. No matter what happens, they are my family.”
Ollie and Callum were as fiercely loyal and supportive as ever. 'I’ll always burn hot with you boys.” Callum smiles. “Love you fuckers.' Their positivity and accommodating natures were a boon in Harley and Ezra's lives and their willingness to make it as safe as possible for Harley and Ezra to find a way to express the true nature of their relationship was very heart-warming with plentiful of group hugs that were 'somehow both awkward yet completely comfortable.' 🫂 While the music, itself, is still not a center-fold to the plot, I appreciated the little context that was provided.
Their PR team was still as much of an overbearing jerks as they always were, but I liked the ways in which they were silently fighting back. 👌🏻 We get to see the band struggle to find a balance between the wrongs being committed towards them, while still enjoying the moments of connection that they gleaned from their fans, and how equally receptive they were of their fans' reactions to them. 'Everyone should be able to love openly, and how they want to, don’t you think?' It was an uplifting and hopeful outlook that I thought was captured nicely. 🤍
“We will always, no matter what, have a life outside of all of this. And it’s going to be only ours. No matter what happens anywhere else, that is just for us where we can escape and just… be.”
He leans in to kiss me, his hand cupping the side of my face gently. He then rests his forehead against mine and smiles. “Now that sounds fucking perfect.”
I remember one of my major complaints with Eve Holmes' writing was that the way the sex scenes were written felt a little too clinical and detached. I am happy to say that this was not the case this time; granted, the two of them did have many more intimate scenes together than the previous two books combined, but it showed how deeply dedicated and devoted they were to each other. Versatile and smitten, their love echoed loudly in the bedroom and in the sheets. Chapter 20 was -- an enlightening experience! 😅 And I won't deny that certain of their antics sent a tingle up my spine. 🫠🤌🏻
But, when all is said and done, I am sad to admit that the story still felt very - saccharine. Yes, the emotional struggles were addressed, yes, I enjoyed the exuberantly happy team bonding, but even when the characters were stressed - it felt a little too sweet for my liking. I was happy that Harley and Ezra didn't have any unnecessary drama that drew them apart - trust me, they had enough on their hands, but the story itself - I didn't feel that it had any momentum to it. 🤔 I need a little something for it to not to feel so monotonous. There came a point that I started noticing a distinct repetitive pattern to the way the story was being told, and it followed through on said pattern, till eventually, a significant breaking point, which I did like when it happened.
The sheer number of epilogues also overwhelmed me, because while I am happy that they are happy, it was a little too sweet for my cup of tea. 🤦🏻♀️ You must be thinking that as someone who doesn't overly read dark books, this should have been right up my alley, but it just didn't click for me. I really tried, but it wasn't landing anywhere in my heart. And Ollie - gosh, yes, he is a lovable, energetic teddy bear and possibly a fan-favorite for some - so I'm gonna sound like such a monster when I admit this, but I found myself cringing a bit at his personality. The kill-shot, though, was when he joined Goodreads; while some of his comments did come of as amusing, it's something I don't think was really necessary to add to his character, but oh well. 😞
“I really like how the song is about those details of love belonging to the people in love,” Bianca says thoughtfully. “But while those details belong to us, we don’t need to hide our love. If we share it, it’s still ours and we can be proud of it. So, thank you.”
I'm always up for giving debut authors a chance; after all, even the well-recognized and reputable names had to start off from somewhere, right? And the cover arts for this series certainly pleased my aesthetic senses, so that definitely piqued my interest for what lay in store. I am happy that Eve Holmes has a steadily growing fan base that will appreciate their works, really I am. I just know what my own writing preferences are and what works for me and what doesn't. So while I am glad that I gave this series a chance, I just don't see myself rushing forward to reading the author's next releases in the future. 🤷🏻♀️
Remastered is the epic conclusion to Harley and Ezra's beautiful emotional rockstar romance. They have been through so much pain and suffering after hiding their relationship, so finally having the freedom to love one another openly is such a fantastic win for both of them.
Harley and Ezra really are the best. They both provide support and absolute patience for one another during this tumultuous time. Harley is finally able to find outlets for his anxiety and panic attacks, which I was so relieved to see. He really wears his heart on his sleeve, so having his mind finally reach a sense of calm was such a beautiful thing to see.
Ezra is the neverending rock that offers unrelenting support and love for Harley and loved ones. I appreciated Ezra's personal sacrifices finally being acknowledged throughout this process.
Overall Remastered finally allows Harley and Ezra to find a light at the end of the tunnel without sacrificing their passion for music and one another. I was so happy for everyone involved and cannot wait for more in this world of amazing characters. Songs of Freedom is a fantastic series that I loved from beginning to end.
*** I reviewed a complimentary copy of this story.***
I absolutely loved Harley and he made me cry again so much!! So happy that Ezra and Harley get such a good HEA!!
I really enjoyed the relationships between all of the 'good' characters and seeing both Harley and Ezra grow as individuals and a couple.
What bugged me though was the amount of sex scenes. I actually started skimming over them way back in book one. I genuinely don't know if that is what a 'normal' relationship is like - I'm Ace and it just seems excessive to me but I don't know!!! But yeah, there were quite a few chunks of each book where it did start to feel like it was all they were doing together. I'd like to have seen them find more ways to actually do things together in secret rather than hide in a room and have sex 😂
I also found some parts a bit too cheesy and convenient, but overall I'm so happy with this series and I'll look forward to the characters popping up in future books from this author.
I was stressed up to like 65% of this book. Even though I knew we were finally going to give us a HEA for these boys. Harley and Ezra continued to be absolutely cute together and completely in love.
To be completely honest, I am not sure I understood what was happening with the royalties and the distribution company, but I know that if it wasn’t for Callum, they would all continue practically enslaved to William, the evil overlord. Still, I liked that they got their happy ending and that the bad people all paid for it.
The epilogues were super sweet. I think the only thing I didn’t like was that it seemed as if we were teased with a Ben-Ollie situation or something. They definitely had vibes, but then it never happened 🤷🏻♀️
Second read through: this series is absolutely amazing. I wish everyone would read it and shout about it cause it’s such an amazing story! If you enjoy rockstar romances and amazing mental health rep then I highly recommend!
I honestly cannot express how amazing this entire trilogy is! It still blows my mind that book 1 is Eve Holmes’ debut novel. This trilogy follows the journey of Harley and Ezra and ends on the sweetest, most perfect HEA for these two. They go through so much in these three books that I think I would have rioted if they didn’t get exactly what they wanted!
The end of book 2 left us in so much pain for Harley and Ezra but with hope on the horizon! Book 3 is all about them getting back control and fighting for themselves! One thing I absolutely love about this trilogy is that Harley and Ezra are solid through the whole thing! They do not waver in their love for each other and always support the other in whatever way they need!
And let me tell you these two together are freaking 🔥🔥🔥🔥! After reading one particular chapter I felt like I needed a cigarette and a cold shower! The praise kink, dirty talk and unexpected bedroom dynamics are just on point in this trilogy!
Of course though all amazing stories must come to an end and this one had a fantastic ending. The epilogues (that’s right, more than one!) were amazing and showed everything that I love to see for a HEA! As with the other two books in this trilogy there are two bonus chapters that absolutely hilarious and 100% worth the download and read!
I’ve had such an incredible journey with this trilogy, starting as an ARC reader on book 1, going to beta reader for book 2 and settling at alpha reader for book 3! I absolutely love to support new authors and I couldn’t be happier to support Eve throughout her writing journey! I can’t wait to read what she comes up with next!
A perfect ending to this series 🥹 the epilogues were so good, they were exactly what I crave as an ending to a book and characters I grew attached to!
Also, I have to say, I’m SO impressed that the author kept this couple together throughout the entire series! No matter what happened, they faced it together. There was never a moment where either thought of pushing the other away, and I loved it so much!!!!
What To Expect: 🖤 MM Romance ❤️ Rockstars 🖤 Hurt/Comfort ❤️ Mental Health Rep 🖤 Found Family ❤️ HEA

After read this trilogy, I feel like I'm saying goodbye to a part of my soul. It was so well done and it was just awesome to see Ezra and Harley get their happy ever after! Of course it wasn't an easy road, telling by the previous books I knew this one would hurt, but the author does such an amazing job handling the touch stuff! I desperately need the side characters books because they were so well developed they deserve at least one book each. It was beautiful and emotional and steamy and I absolutely love this series! Overall I'm sad the trilogy is over but excited for the future of the author!
Ugh sweet Harley and Ezra. I love them so much it hurts. Having the opportunity to read this early was such a joy and this conclusion to the Songs of Freedom series did not disappoint.
This trilogy was seriously so good, beautiful storytelling, loveable characters, juicy spice, and even a bit of a mystery woven through the books.
I’ve loved watching Harley and Ezra’s love unfold and triumph. They deserve their HEA.
My sweet sweet Ollie… oh boy… I cannot wait to see what’s in store for that absolute golden retriever and his new found love of reverse harem.
I loved this book and I’m so excited to see what else Eve Holmes has in store for the boys of Send Help.
Zrobiło się trochę lepiej, w końcu coś się zaczęło dziać i cały zespół wziął się do roboty, aby odzyskać kontrolę nad sobą i wolność. Ale generalnie ta seria to rozczarowanie 🫤
4.25 book three in a trilogy. So, so much to like about this series. Great characters, awesome friends and supportive families, nice dialogue and ongoing debates that brings the books together. College aged, music, band, anxiety, contemporary, series, m/m, HEA, bi-awakening, high spice. Lovely extended epilogue.
Alright, so here are my final thoughts. Overall, the series is worth a read, the author made me care about the band and made me hate other characters. That’s the sign of a good book and a testimony to the care that the author took to build the characters. However, the suffering, angst and anxiety go on too long, the mental health being unaddressed and everyone acting like therapy/medication/support don’t even exist is a bit much. Same with the adults around them standing by while these young men are driven to breakdowns? Didn’t really work for my soft heart. Their time in record label hell went on way too long, it consumed book two and carried over to a significant portion of book three, way too much of the same thing without the story moving forward. Try something, anything. Rebel, run away, lawyer up, hide, get a manager, slip a note to the press, something, maybe a few something’s to move the story along and keep it interesting. I loved these boys but at 25% into book three, I’m getting annoyed by them, and that’s not what I want to feel towards them. I started skimming and I NEVER do that.
If we could remove 150 pages of the repetitive purgatory, then this could have been a 5 star series.
I turn my head to look at Ezra, and lock eyes with him. The man that I love, and will love for the rest of my life. This is what I want, with him. With Ollie, and Callum. It’s with them that I have learned to love and be loved. We’re family, and we will fight for what’s ours.
Remastered? More like Masterpiece.
Take a bow, Eve Holmes. You have concluded Harley and Ezra's story in the Songs of Freedom series in the most sublime way.
Harley and Ezra have been through absolute hell on their journey. Controlled and manipulated by several key figures in their record company, forced to hide their relationship, portrayed badly in the media by their representatives... these boys; Harley, in particular, because of his abusive past with his horrible father, have been mentally tortured and driven to the point of breakdown.
But through it all, they have loved each other and had the support of their bandmates, as well as some wonderful people they work with, like Ben, Jack, and Ian, etc.
Eve Holmes promised us the happiest of HEA's... and this woman delivered!! I can't tell you how beyond thankful I am!
These boys are in my heart forever now, and if you read their story or have followed so far, then you'll be in for a treat with this final instalment.
Ollie is at his best, bringing lighthearted fun on his reading quests... he might be the funniest character I've ever read. I adore him 😍🤣🥰
Callum and his whiteboard are there to save the day with his love of statistics and numbers. Callum is the quiet one of the bunch, but I'd say he'll be one to watch when it's his turn as the leading man... 🔥♥️
And our boys 🥰 Harley and Ezra. My baby's 🥺😍 I can't adequately describe how much I love them... these boys, they've been through it, and they absolutely deserve every goodness that comes their way.
As they get ready to fight back in Remastered, we see them take their future into their own hands and grasp onto their happiness. And through it all, they have each other.
'With him, I know I can do this. With him… I can do anything.'
“You taught me how to love myself. For that, and a million other reasons, I love you with everything that I am. You’re my reason, Ezra. For everything. You’re my entire world.”
Harley, as ever, remains at his dirty-talking best in Remastered, and I'm here for it!
“You love having your a*s filled, don’t you? And you’re going to be filled with me all night. “Does that make you a good boy, or a bad boy? “You’ll be a bad boy for taking your c*m filled a*s on stage when we’re supposed to be hiding. "But, to me, that’s not being bad. To me, all of that makes you good. It makes you my good boy.”
Talk about Burn Hot! 🔥🥵🫠
This series has been an absolute joy to read, getting to know and love these amazing characters. Thank you, Eve, for the chance to arc read these books. I'm going to miss Harley and Ezra as leading men, but it has been a pleasure being with them on their journey.
Don't miss Remastered when it releases on November 2nd.
“You taught me how to love myself. For that, and a million other reasons, I love you with everything that I am. You’re my reason, Ezra. For everything. You’re my entire world.”
When I tell you I tried to savor this book as long as I could til I got greedy...I really did..but my patience is thin and I needed to see William and those other bastards get the pay back for hurting my boys..Eve Holmes promised a HEA and boy she delivered...but I needed to see the words in black and white on the page with my own eyes..and that is why I was up at 2 this morning sitting in my room crying..because my Sweet Baby Child was happy..he was content...he was living his life and enjoying his freedom..all those precious boys went through hell those months under William...but through it all they stuck together..they held on and fought like hell and found their way to see that light at the end of the tunnel..
My Sweet Baby Child found the courage to tackle the anxiety that would bring him to a state of numbness when things got hard...with the help of his love, Ezra, his bandmates and his whole found family they were there to help pick him up when he needed them...they found ways to help lessen the pain...it helped him find validation in himself..that he was stronger than the wrongs and the bad that was ever done to him and was still trying to be done to him...
Book 3 gave me all the feels that I knew Eve was gonna bring out of me...the craziness that is Ollie...the preciousness of him..to finally find his favorite genre in books..to Callum for being the nerd..that I adore..and searched til he find their way out..to Ezra for being that rock for Harley and giving him that hope for their future..and for him being able to finally bring his feelings first..to Harley..my Sweet Baby Child..you brought your dirty talking game harder, baby and you WON!! You four babies definitely burned the hottest in this book..
Eve, thank you so much for the honor of being able to read the ARC and for giving our boys the ending they deserved..it was beyond PERFECTION!
So this is definitely my favorite book in the series. It was just so good! I loved how Harley and Ezra really worked to heal themselves. And of course Ollie. He is probably my favourite side character ever. Even though this book was lighter than the second one, I love that Ollie is the comic relief. While I am definitely glad the Harley and Ezra finally have their HEA, I hope we get to see more of these characters in the future.
I was lucky enough to get to alpha read for this author and let me tell you this was the ending we’ve been waiting for! After everything these boys have been through the growth and strength we get to see in this finale is just perfection! And don’t even get me started on the spice we thought the last two books were elite but this one WOW!!
We get so many beautiful moments with these guys and the HEA we have been waiting for. Not only that but Eve gives us closure that is Twisted Sisters level! I’m talking multiple epilogues!
This book finished this trilogy off with a bang and brought us everything we loved in the last books( found family, amazing side characters, and realistic representation of mental health struggles) and then gave us more!
I will 100% be supporting Eve in her future works.
If you love MM romance Hurt/comfort Realistic rep of mental health struggles Found family Elite level spice but with an amazing plot
This series is for you!
I can’t wait to see what’s next for Eve! Burn hot!!!!
i love harley and ezra so much! they just deserve everything they want and more. the conclusion of their story did not disappoint, it was everything i wanted.
this trilogy was so so good! all the characters are SO lovable, the found family in these books is so amazing. the story is really beautifully written, and the mental health rep in these books is really well done.
these boys are so strong, i loved getting to see them grow and fight for what they want. they deserved their HEA, they worked so hard for it. i LOVE how they never gave up on each other and only made each other stronger, they have that soulmate kind of love. (plus the spice is impeccable.)
i can’t wait to see what eve does next because i will be reading more of her work!
This is the final book in the Songs Of Freedom series and like the author had promised she has given Ezra & Harley the well-deserved happily ever after, which makes me so happy. This book was just perfection, I can't believe this is her debut series and Silhouette was her debut book (book 1 in this series) because that book was so amazing and then Details which was even better than before and then this final book, I don't have enough words to say how amazing this book was and her writing was on top. Eve has been one of my favourite debut authors since her first book and she has never disappointed me, if you have not started this series what are you waiting for?
Ezra & Harley were amazing in this book like every other previous book only they were stronger and ready to fight for their freedom. My heart hurt for my boys but also was so happy when they got their freedom, and let me tell you it was a well-deserved punishment for the person whom I shall not name. The Healing Journey of Ezra & Harley was so beautiful and the way Eve has written it so amazingly, that it tugged at my heart.
And we should not forget the amazing family who had their back, Ollie & Callum; are my sweethearts and I laughed and cried with them, also Ollie's journey to find his favourite trope god I love that boy. And Callum with his nerdiness and how he held everything together and was the one who gave them all hope but I also loved how he opened up to the boys, showing another side of him. Hannah & Lulu; these two were the best. I loved how they helped Ezra & Harley and also called Anna by different names, I took great satisfaction in that part. Ezra's parents; I loved Ezra's mom for how he treated Harley and that moment in the dining hall, Mama Larson was a badass for that and also all the other family members. And lastly, the epilogues (yes there are more than one), loved it loved it loved it so much.
Overall I enjoyed this book very much and I highly recommend this series because you will not be disappointed, check them out.
* I received an ARC copy from the author and this is my honest review *
I honestly was going to give lower rating but Ezra&Harley getting a happy ending at least made me give 3⭐️.
Why was this 3 books?! The MCs are good, the premise is good. But there is no story. Like at all. Harley's mental heath struggle is made to be the only storyline for books 2&3. Again and again and again Harley has a panic attack, is put in a anxiety inducing situation, struggles, Ezra is there, helps him. Rinse and repeat for about 30 times during books 2&3. Dialogues get repetetive, there is loooong loooong parts like them casually playing golf, annoying PR people, hanging out with zero contribution to story. Even spice wasnt intersting or hot. Same thing again and again. Even Ollie turned into a bit of a caricature. I dont like the fact that Luna and Hannah are exactly the same character. It was clear Callum had sth going on with a certain person, but no story there(i am assuming author aimed to have that story in a future book I wont be reading). The resolution of things was just simple, with cringy and preachy dialogues. This whole series could easiliy be a single 250 page book. Just happy to be done at this point.
So happy Ezra and Harley got their much deserved HEA. I loved seeing them grow as a couple and most importantly as individuals in this final part of their journey.
I really loved this series and I am very interested in seeing what Eve has installed for the rest of Send Help.
"Loving you is never a burden. Harley, when I say I love you, I mean all of you. Every single scar, both inside and out. I fell in love with absolutely everything about you, and I am here for it all."
WOW! What a beautiful, emotional and heartwarming conclusion to this amazing story! I knew with the way book 2 ended, that the final part of this story was going to be an insanely emotional one. And boy was it ever!
Harley and Ezra continually pulled on my heartstrings and had me clutching my kindle tightly with tears dripping off my face over the intense anguish and torment they go through in order to get their happy ever after. It was a rollercoaster ride of so many heart-wrenching ups and downs that kept me on edge the whole way through.
Harley just broke my heart over the debilitating anxiety attacks he continually suffers from that pull him into such darkness. But with his amazing support group (Ezra, Ollie and Callum), Harley is able to overcome some of his anxiety attacks and find new ways to deal with it.
Ezra, Ollie and Callum are such beautiful characters. The immense amount of love and support they gave to each other and to Harley continually had me crying. Their love for one another was unbreakable and stronger than ever.
I loved the growth these four men go through and their determination to find a way out of the horrible situation that they are in. And it only got harder and harder the more they tried to fight back. But with their amazing support group behind them, they fight back harder.
“I turn my head to look at Ezra, and lock eyes with him. The man that I love, and will love for the rest of my life. This is what I want, with him. With Ollie, and Callum. It’s with them that I have learned to love and be loved. We’re family, and we will fight for what’s ours.”
With such beautiful and poignant writing, this amazing author gives us an ending that brought tears to my eyes and had my heart soaring with so much love for these incredible young men. Harley, Ezra, Ollie and Callum will forever have a place in my heart.
“You taught me how to love myself. For that, and a million other reasons, I love you with everything that I am. You’re my reason, Ezra. For everything. You’re my entire world.”
The boys of Send Help are back and fighting for freedom! While on break before heading off to Europe for their world tour, Harley, Ezra, Ollie, and Callum devise a plan to break their contract and take down those that have done them wrong at their label company. It’s been a long road for the boys, especially Harley and Ezra. From day one, they’ve been forced to hide their love for each other, and constantly controlled. But it’s time to show the world who they really are and take back control.
“Remastered” is a story of healing, love, and breaking free. While being on tour, making music and meeting fans is the dream, being controlled and forced to hide who he truly is has taken a toll on Harley. He’s angry, frustrated, afraid, dealing with anxiety and panic attacks. However, he’s ready to take back that control, and his healing process is something beautiful to witness. Meanwhile, Ezra is learning to put his feelings first and working on not carrying the feelings of everyone else. Like I mentioned earlier, it’s been a hard road for Harley and Ezra, but the strength of their love and support from their friends and family, they can conquer anything.
I’m so sad that Harley and Ezra’s story has come to an end. These two have been through so much, but I absolutely love that no matter what, they’ve been each other’s rock. I really enjoyed this series, and looking forward to reading Ollie and Callum’s stories. Thank you, Eve, for the ARC! If you’re a lover of MM rockstar romances, definitely give this trilogy a try!
The author was so gracious to give me an ARC for this book and I am so glad she did! This 3rd installment of Ezra and Harley was just perfect!
The found family continues to blow me away in these books and the love and out pouring of support for these two was everything. In this book the fight against the record label and PR team is in full swing and everyone rallies behind Ezra and Harley. Mama Alice is a favorite and when you get to the part she stands up to the PR team you will agree with me that she deserves an award!
In this book these 2 get their hard earned HEA! And we get epilogueS. Yes that S is capitalized and it's because epilogues are my jam and Eve delivers with the ending of this book!!
Because this is an ARC I do not want to spoil anything. What I will say is Harley and Ezra continue to work through their issues and the continued support of each other and loving one another through those struggles was beautiful to read. Though they continue to fight adversary their love only grows.....as does the heat! 🥵🥵🥵 This may be the only book I've actually like the phrase "Good Boy".
The mental health rep was dealt with impeccably in my opinion and I so appreciated that there was no quick fix to said health issues. I also really enjoyed that we get a true glimpse into the music industry and the way it has been run in regards to musicians and labels and rights to music. As someone who knows many in this industry it is brutal.
All in all a perfect conclusion to Ezra and Harley but not an ending to this world! Hints in the epilogues!
Eve delivered on the conclusion to Harley and Ezra's story. I absolutely loved seeing them get their HEA and freedom goats. Book 3, which is the end of the trilogy for Harley and Ezra, gave me everything I hoped for and more. Seeing Harley healing, getting help for his anxiety, and finding ways to deal with it all was just amazing. Ezra, our sweet Ezra, who will take on everything to try and make it easier for them all, was also able to find his way to start healing. They are both so supportive and understanding with each other. I was cheering them on as we watched them become stronger and fight back. Seeing Ollie and Callum standing next to them and not letting anyone or anything keep them from what they deserve in life but also with their music. This whole cast of characters was just wonderful in so many ways. They all rallied around Send Help as a band, but they all become family. Also, seeing the boys interact with their fans and the support their fans gave them was wonderful.
I have had the opportunity to read all 3 books early, so this is a little bittersweet. I feel like I'm saying goodbye to them all. But I have enjoyed being on this journey with them. Eve Holmes did an amazing job navigating all the sensitive subjects and giving us an amazing story filled with friendship, family, discovery, healing, and love. I hope we see more of Send Help in the future.
I received an advance review copy, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
I would drag my ladder out of the garage to climb up on my 2-story rooftop to shout out how much I adore this series and these characters, if I wasn't terrified of heights...lol! Said it before, I'll say it 1000x more, Harley and Ezra are the sweetest, most heartfelt, and deserving of all the love.
Remastered came out swinging hard with the emotions. I said that about book 2 ,as well, but it's the truth. It felt like I couldn't feel any deeper for Harley and Ezra, AND Ollie and Callum, then boom they're all together again with the unconditional love & support for one another. For some reason, this found family of such young individuals really just hits all the right notes. Ha. 🎶 Harley's anxiety is depicted with such care and awareness of how real the effects are on the person and the people around them. Ezra being ever the caretaker and just wanting everyone to be happy and healthy even at the cost of his own is SO relatable. I LOVED seeing them all taking a step back to be fully aware of one another and their well-being; being ready to fight, so hard, for their collective HEA. And boy, do they get that HEA. 🥹💜 FINALLY.
Right off the bat I just have to say how much I'm going to miss these two. I'm so sad their story has come to end, even though they got the most perfect ending.
After a wild ride of being stuck in an awful contract with their record label, Harley and Ezra finally find a way to be free. Making it so that they no longer have to worry about hiding their love for each other from the world.
The love story between these two was so beautiful and so strong. I love that they stayed solid through all the ups and downs they experienced. The communication in this book and series as a whole, was top notch.
In the first two books we see Harley struggle a lot with his anxiety and Ezra, the selfless angel that his is, burries his feelings to stay strong for him. But in this book we finally see them both work through their feelings about all the things they've had to deal with and it was so refreshing to see.
There was a lot I loved about this book, Ollie and Callum of course, the fan interactions ( and just all the moments Harley and Ezra snuck in to check on each other.
This is the third and final book in the Songs of Freedom series. Books 1 & 2 should be read first.
I absolutely loved every part of this book. They way Ezra and Harley love each other and are so open and caring was beautiful to read. I loved how both guys realized that they needed help from therapists and worked on healing themselves while also staying open with each other.
Even though Harley does have a few strong panic attacks, this book is lighter than book 2. I think the open communication between all 4 bandmates is what made this book so good! BUT let's not forget about Ollie! That man...he is such a character! I love him and his choatic mess of a head! I also cracked up every time he tried a new book genre! He finally lands in my favorite genre, and it seemed like he was enjoying it too, lol
All in all, this is a REALLY good series! Eve did wonderfully, and I can't wait to read more from her!
What a wonderful ride! I loved all 3 books in this series... From how Ezra and Harley met and fell in love and started their musical career with Callum and Ollie in book one... To the struggles and obstacles they faced in book two... To their growth and overcoming their obstacles and finally getting their mountains and goats in book three... I was all in for the journey! I loved the supporting characters, Jack, Hannah, and Lulu (just to name a few) and how they helped the guys in their own ways, and I LOVED Ollie and his books and the humor he brought to the story. If you like books with love, friendship, a little angst, a lot of spice and getting due justice, I highly recommend this series. It has it ALL!
Remastered by Eve Holmes is the perfect ending to the Songs of Freedom series! The things I wasn't super pleased with in book 2, Details, we're resolved in wonderful ways! I don't want to say much because I will inevitably include spoilers if I do! I will say, the healing in this book is plentiful and beautiful. It's he!!a steamy like the rest of the series, demonstrates fantastic mental health representation, and is just a terrific story. Romance - ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ Steam - 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 Humor - 🤣🤣🤣🤣 Angst - 😭😭😭😭 Writing - ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
The perfect ending to this amazing triology. After everything these boys have been trough I really whished them a happy ending and it was even better than what I was hoping for! I absolutely loved every part of this book. It has so many beautiful moments and we get to see much needed growth, strength and healing for all of them. I liked the side characters and how they supported the band without a care what it could cost them.
And make sure to read the bonus scenes, they are absolutely worth it!
This was so good! It was so nice to see our boys finally get their HEA. It was a freaking journey to get here but so wonderful to watch. I loved watching them all of them find their voice and heal. This was the third book and you need to read in order. I don’t know how I’m gonna leave them but I’m happy to know they get to finally be themselves, be out, be together and most of all be in love. Until we meet again boys.
