This was a quick read. I think I like the design of it so it stays simple for those battling diet, eating, etc. One example the author did was praying before food went into her mouth. That simple act of taking the extra second to stop yourself to question and stop a craving was interesting. I also like how the author included a playlist at the end.

I read this book for an online book club this month. I am morbidly obese and have tried ever diet under the sun. I am always on the lookout for the newest diet books published. I’ve tried some of those. This book takes a Christian viewpoint of weight loss. It examines what the scriptures say about our bodies. The author of this book gives very simple ideas based on Biblical views on how to lose weight successfully. I loved the ideas in this book and intend on fully embracing them as I continue my weight loss journey.

Great book with a lot of good advice from God's Word

This is a great book which could use a journal. Lot of thought provoking statements about weight loss struggles. Reminders of what God can do for you!

I've already read through the whole book earlier, but will be restarting it tomorrow for all those lovely New Year Resolution things. I really enjoyed how Robin shared her story so that you felt like you were sitting across the table listening to a friend. She doesn't tell you the how of it, but rather what worked for her. She then shares how she found spiritual help in her journey. She shares verses and even ends each devotion with a prayer. I highly recommend this book.

Holy Spirit,You are welcome here...

I loved each of these devotions to help move through losing my weight. I think this program can help me with other things I finds hard to do. Motivation is my biggest problem the scriptures , the prayers, and the music will be good for me, finding those who will encourage me will take prayer for sure. Great encouraging words...probably will re-read often!

A REAL BLESSING

I have come to the place in my life and admitted that my food issues are spiritual issues and this book has been truly supportive and inspirational in the journey back to health. There is no one but Jesus who can heal and strengthen me and I am feeling the benefit of it already.

I admit that when I was first told about the premise of this book, I was skeptical. If my girlfriend hadn't sent me this book, I never would have bought it. Having read it, I loved it and highly recommend it! Not only is it short and easy to read but, it really resonated with me.

I received this one as a first read. This was a good devotional. Some of these could be just a bit longer. However, it did help with devotional time. I really enjoyed the author style. A good book.

Very informative and enjoyable to read.

I had not heard of Robin Merrill before downloading this book to read on Kindle. As the leader of a women’s Bible study group, I was asked by the ladies to find a Christian-based Bible study. I had been searching and looked at a lot of different books and cookbooks when I found The Jesus Diet. I immediately downloaded the book and read it in just a few hours. I will be sharing it with my ladies! Thank you, Robin.

The Spirit can guide us to make healthy choice to loose weight. Absolutely true. This book gives hope. The best way to change behavior is to delve into the Spirit. Prayer and scripture study work wonders. Same way that I cured my depression. Now I need it to work for my weight loss. Amen.

Best .99¢ I’ve ever spent on Amazon!

This book is such an inspirational tribute to scripture. I love this this IS NOT a diet book. Yes, the author struggles with weight issues but the way she finds herself out can be adapted to almost any struggle.

Very short with scriptural principals for weight loss. Positive and an encouraging read. This book could be a good reference read

Jesus cares about all that we care about!

I love these devotions in that they relate scripture to me. Why I need to get my body in order and why it will glorify my Heavenly Father.

I ran across a friend’s review of this short book. It sounded hokey but she recommended it and I’m glad I read it. I didn’t need it for weight loss. It can apply to any challenging goal.
