This book contains alot of interesting information about soil and the various methods of soil improvement. The book is very easy to read, clear, concise and provides handy hints to grow plants in the garden! I really liked reading it! Great for beginners!!
This Goodreads Giveaway win though small in length, provides much information. However, that information reads more like an article, and less like a "how-to" book.
I feel this would have been enjoyed by myself more were it presented in a different format, say, a monthly blog. Richards is informative, but this book is lacking some substance.
