Haruto starts living with a girl from Toky Eba and the misundestandings begins, this volume has a lot of story in it, maybe the story is advancing very fast, but that means that it will be interesting.
Rating up to chapter 23. Review to follow. I'm still going to finish this, despite everything, because it's Kouji Seo. My rating, after all, is largely because I've read Suzuka before.
I only read about half of this comic book series (27 vol total). It started as a very interesting slice of life, with lots of good charachters and being told from a man's Point of view, which was very interesting and useful to me. BUT then charachters started to make odd choiches, the story started to be extremely long with too many digressions and bums and tits with no reason at all. I Just felt like it was not on my chords anymore, so I abandoned it... but I regret it couldnt be different, as the first chapters were so Great.
Let me tell you this: If you're a sensitive teenage boy, read this! End of review for you kid. Now for the adults. I read this when I was in school. I loved it, it was catered to me and I ate it up. If you're a man or a woman who wants to relive their teenage fantasies, craving for that spicy, drama filled, heart achy teenage romance then give this a chance. P.s that four star is in no way an unbiased score. I didn't even try that shit with this one. It's Biased with a capital B!
Story has lots of bad choices made by characters, specially those of protagonist’s. But kept me hooked. Story attracts the reader because of the unnecessary pain it causes due to the choices made and how the protagonist overcome these difficult situations in the idealised universe that a reader seek. Probability does not work here.
Starts off very well with well fleshed out characters. Middle of the story has very well written character drama but once the characters get together the story suddenly drags and becomes a drawn out borefest
el primer romance que me atrapó de niño, cambió mis gustos de lo que me gustaba leer, prefiero no releerla porque seguro tiene un montón de defectos y quiero quedarme con mi primer sentir de que le cambió la vida
Beautiful, well told romance story of Kirishima Haruto and Eba Yuzuki. For a beginner manga reader, it was easy to get hooked up on manga.
All I can say is this manga definitely surpasses Naruto and many of the other Shōnen manga. Its about a girl who freeloads of a guys house, thats where Haruto life starts to change. There are many problems that happen in this book but the writer thinks of solution that you would probably never think of.
Overall, this book would be one of the best romance manga in the recent titles.
i have a habit of reading a light manga or a web comic before going to sleep. it helps me relax or in the worst case distracts me from my own sh*t. unfortunately this series falls into the later category. writing is lazy and each and every turn in the story seems forced. perhaps I'm taking this too seriously despite being a manga but oh lord.. if it is hasn't been in an excruciating read till now.
oh the only positive i could find about the series was its drawing style. its nothing to brag about but not bad either.
As a beginner manga, this is probably even better than Prince of Tennis because it has a lot more ordinary life vocabulary-- including the word 'freeloader': 居候 (いそうろう). I'm only at the beginning of this manga, but so far it's pretty interesting and I'm looking forward to reading more.
It was nothing spectacular. I'm trying to get back into reading manga and watching anime like I used to and this seems like a good way in. Its cute and funny but its yet to get good! maybe volume 2 will be better :)
