Lots of great information about sharks in a more narrative style than other non fiction books. There are not typical text features, but it is easy to read both the main paragraph and the factual additions on each double page spread. This is a great book for shark lovers and students studying sharks.
The double page spread on mating is not overly graphic other than when identifying male and female sharks. In fact there is not a lot of information about wild sharks as they are quite discreet, I learned.
