This is a really great book. I followed everything he said and it can be done all in a weekend. As promised. I was waiting for the sales pitch at the end but there wasn’t any. I did buy one of his audios on his website. That’s was worth it. Highly recommend
I've gone through two of his three scripts. I go down, then come back up, but I don't remember anything that happened while I was under. Nonetheless, I'm looking forward to trying to replace some bad habits with good ones.
The exercises are great and links to the audio scripts are included. Also it provides plenty of explanations and very easy to get started. Highly recommend this book!
Worth the price. Gets you doing, instead of reading very quickly with recorded and inductions. Do not expect to be a "master" of self hypnosis in a weekend, or week ect... With this. But it is a good start.
It was the first book I read about the hypnosis... and I really enjoyed it! It's straight to the point, full of examples and scripts for getting into a trance state. Highly recommend this reading!
This book is an excellent basic book on self-hypnosis. Rick Smith teaches his readers how to enter trance and what to do once a trance has been reached.
The reader is given some basic scripts and told they can record these scripts themselves or they can download them free from the author’s website.
This is a great basic book which does not bore the reader with a lot of unecessary jargon. The reader is given some practical information. The second half of the book gives the reader a little more information, like some of the history of hypnosis and some practical advice on how to use self hypnosis.
My knowledge with hypnosis is limited. I have, however, been a student of meditation for a long time. I now know that deep meditation with visualization has much in common with hypnosis. Mr Smith does an excellent job with speaking on his downloadable scripts and I found it easily to enter a relaxing trance. I found the time spent reading this book and doing the exercises well worth while. I look forward to many hours of descending into pleasurable self-hypnosis. Highly recommend.
This book is well written, interesting, and easy to understand. It also provides links to self hypnosis scripts, and the scripts are excellent. I found it easy and very rewarding to learn the self-hypnosis techniques, and I'm excited about the possibilities for positive change that if has prepared me for.
