Me agrada la idea de que sea una princesa distinta cada noche pues creo que ayuda a cambiar la imagen que la gran mayoría de niños tienen sobre ellas.
Lo Mejor:Yo creo que cualquier libro creado (e ilustrado) para tratar de hacer leer a los niños más pequeños, merece una oportunidad.

Es un cuento infantil con ilustraciones muy coloridas, así que es mejor leerlo en una Tablet, y no en el Kindle, ya que las ilustraciones pierden toda la gracia. Es una niña que sueña que es una princesa pirata y tiene que encontrar un tesoro para salvar los siete mares

Se lo leí a mi sobrino y le gustó mucho. Es un buen cuento con un bonito mensaje y tiene imágenes muy bonitas❤️ además está gratis en kindle👀 (en la app se ve el color de las ilustraciones😬)

Magnífica historia, deja claras moralejas sobre confiar en una misma, ser solidarios, cuidar la naturaleza. Además encontré placenteros los giros en la historia y su mensaje final. Cada página leída era un sorpresa en la trama.

"Pirate Princess (A Different Princess)" is an interesting twist to princess stories. Amy loves being a princess, but she says that being the same princess all the time is boring. So, she is a different princess each night. On this particular night, she is a pirate princess, with her little unicorn stuffed animal, Huggy, by her side. She is a good pirate and helps fishermen. There is a bad pirate with a pink beard that she needs to defeat because he is stealing all the fish. Then she learns from the fish that the ocean is dirtier than before, so she needs to find a way to clean up the ocean. She needs to go to Skull Island, so that is a little bit of a scary part. Huggy ends up saving them with some rainbow magic, which allows the team to find the treasure to clean the ocean.
The story is a little on the long side for little kids, but it is an interesting story. There are some scary parts, so younger children may not like the book as much.
There are a few grammar and punctuation mistakes which is a shame because this book would be more suitable for older kids and they might be confused by the misplaced periods or commas.
Overall, the story sparks imagination and also is a good way to teach kids to keep the oceans clean.
This book would be a good story for kids around ages 5-8.

Amy is an imaginative young girl who likes to play princess. She does not like to be stuck in one role, so she chooses a different type of princess every night. She possesses a strong will and lots of determination to succeed in her tasks. As the story begins one night, Amy has decided to be a pirate princess.
As the story unfolds, Amy helps fishermen in trouble, confronts the evil pirate Pink-Beard, and finds herself thrown to the bottom of the sea. Huggy, her magic unicorn, comes to the rescue. Amy continues her adventures to search for the Jungle Queen and clean up the seas.
There are several separate plot lines. The script has punctuation and editing mistakes and the voice switches from the first to the third person. I believe the book is more a beginning chapter book than a picture book for young readers who may find the length and complexity confusing. This book is most appropriate for beginning readers who enjoy pirate stories.

Cute story concept, but poor writing.
My daughter loves any sort of princess or unicorn story, so we bought a few of this series. They're cute for young kids, but the grammar errors are rampant. The author bio lists her as a teacher. I find it disheartening that a teacher would present such shoddy work.
I'm an author and would be horrified to submit work this flawed to a publisher. I think this was self-published. The book has a fun concept - a little girl pretending to be a different princess each night. I would strongly recommend the author seek an objective, third-party editor to help clean this book and re-release a more polished version.

"Pirate Princess" was actually a very cute book that I enjoyed reading to my children. I have been called a critic when it comes to children stories, and this is true because I mostly find them lacking; however, this one was very well written with wonderful illustrations to help fuel the imagination.
I would definitely read more stories by Amy Potter if given the chance, especially because she left "Pirate Princess" in sort of a cliff hanger.

La verdad es que disfruto con los cuentos infantiles siempre y cuando estos dejen un mensaje lindo y no estén escritos en un lenguaje exageradamente infantil. Y si bien, el mensaje de esta historia es resaltar la importancia de mantener los océanos limpios, el lenguaje es para niños muy muy pequeños y eso imposibilitó que consiguiera disfrutar con la historia. Eso sí, las ilustraciones son preciosas.

Leí el libro porque acabo de comprar un kindle y comencé a descargar libros gratis que me salían, la verdad lo usé como libro prueba pero me gustó mucho, siento que las cosas pasaron muy rápido y no se relataban bien los hechos, pero bueno, a fin de cuentas es una novela para niños y tienen que ser claras y concisas, eso sí, en el Kindle no viene a color y me hubiera gustado ver cómo quedó el galeón fantasma con todo el arcoiris de Huggy.

Que sea una princesa diferente cada noche es genial, rompe con los estereotipos y muestra otra realidad a los niños. También, enseña el valor, creer en uno mismo y dejar volar la imaginación. Y pone consciencia sobre el medio ambiente.

Es un muy bonito que es contado por otra perspectiva ya que la protagonista es una niña y la que salva a los siete mares, que cada noche siempre hay una aventura para la princesa que es diferente a las que se acostumbran normalmente y que ademas deja su moraleja o mensaje que siempre hay que mantener al mar limpio, que no hay que tener miedo en sus decisiones y tambien como niña puede hacer lo que quiere.
Es libro ilustrado,muy corto, y que ademas deja un mensaje para los niños que a la vez lo disfrutan y aprenden y que es para leerselo a la hora de dormir a los niños.

I love the premise of the story. A little girl likes to pretend to be a different kind of princess every night. She is fearless and capable.
The illustrations were bright and charming, but the quality was inconsistent.
The story was a typical pirate adventure but I think it went on a little too long for a children’s picture book.
The perspective changes from first person to third person. There are a few errors such as missing punctuation or capitalization.
With better editing, this book could have been something really special. I’d wait for the second edition before purchasing.
