Documents how 12 people, as part of a top-secret U.S. government program, traveled to the planet Serpo and lived there for 13 years • Based on the debriefing of the Serpo team and the diary of the expedition’s commander • Explains how the aliens helped us reverse-engineer their antigravity spacecraft and develop technology to solve our planet-wide energy problems • Reveals how our government has an ongoing relationship with the Serpo aliens On July 16, 1965, a massive alien spacecraft from the Zeta Reticuli star system landed at the Nevada test site north of Las Vegas. Following a plan set in motion by President Kennedy in 1962, the alien visitors known as the Ebens welcomed 12 astronaut-trained military personnel aboard their craft for the 10-month journey to their home planet, Serpo, 39 light-years away. In November 2005, former and current members of the Defense Intelligence Agency--directed by Kennedy to organize the Serpo exchange program--came forward to reveal the operation, including details from the 3,000-page debriefing of the 7 members of the Serpo team who returned after 13 years on the planet. Working with the DIA originators of the Serpo project and the diary kept by the expedition’s commanding officer, Len Kasten chronicles the complete journey of these cosmic pioneers, including their remarkable stories of life on an alien planet, superluminal space travel, and advanced knowledge of alien technologies. He reveals how the Ebens presented the U.S. with “The Yellow Book”--a complete history of the universe recorded holographically, allowing the reader to view actual scenes from pre-history to the present. He explains how the Ebens helped us reverse-engineer their antigravity spacecraft and develop technology to solve our planet-wide energy problems--knowledge still classified. Exposing the truth of human-alien interaction and interplanetary travel, Kasten reveals not only that the Ebens have returned to Earth eight times but also that our government continues to have an ongoing relationship with them--a relationship with the potential to advance the human race into the future.
Well, hmm how to say this without offending anyone. So, this way out there, so to speak. Call it preposterous, or call it audacious- up to you. You really have to suspend disbelief in order to take this seriously
For conspiracy theorists and UFO nuts only. The book is two parts. The first part is basically historical fiction, mixing true stories and figures (Nazis in Antarctica, Kennedy's push for space exploration, etc) with mostly debunked ideas (aliens landing in Roswell, Atlantis, alien communication, etc.). The second part is a poorly written account of exploration to another planet told in the form of "journals" written by the voyage's commander, all of which are apparently sourced to some anonymous messages from a message board. Of course, the fact that the material is thinly sourced or debunked will not discourage the true believers from eating this nonsense up, but reasonable people should steer clear of this garbage. You will be less intelligent for having read this book.
Once I picked this up, I did not put it down until I was done. A quick easy read. A breathtaking revelation that is most likely true. The mind-numbing details of the stuff they packed for their 10-year trip (including a list of the music they brought along) adds credibility to this being an actual government (military) sponsored expedition. The description of this entire operation is so ordinary while the destination is so extraordinary. The sad underlying story here is how this hyper-secrecy robs these modern heroes of the recognition they deserve and it robs all of humanity of the knowledge that we are not alone in the cosmos. It also exposes the insanity of the compartmentalization of the unacknowledged black programs within the government. Even though the government had been in communications with these E.T.s for years before the creation of this program, those details were not revealed by the CIA to the DIA who was in charge of this program. Not giving our heroes the benefit of everything we knew when they were going off to risk their lives is nothing less than a crime. Also, separately, it has been revealed that by this time our government had anti-gravity "alien reproduction vehicles" operating, technology that the E.T.'s already had, yet our people were not sent to the alien world with these vehicles, but rather a bunch of 1960 military jeeps and the gasoline necessary to operate them for 10 years!
Well, this book was a real eye opener. Allegedly it tells the story of our government interacting with the aliens of a planet they call Serpo. The book reveals that the government has been in contact with and learning from these aliens since the 1940's. I chronicles the diary of the astronauts who traveled to this planet and lived there for 13 years. 12 astronauts went and 7 returned. Most of our advances in technology is due to the visit of these astronauts and the government working with aliens who visit our planet on a pretty regular basis.
The book points out that the government is slowly releasing information of the relationship with the aliens so that when it becomes open to all the people it won't be so foreign.
I found the book fascinating, but I'm into this kind of stuff. Read the book and determine for yourself.
This is certainly as book of two quite distinct halves; Part One being an enjoyable essay on aspects of the UFO phenomena and it's well known Nazi connections, etc. I actually enjoyed this part of the book, and it certainly provides some good food for thought. There is so much smoke surrounding this issue that there's got to be the fire of truth hidden away in there somewhere, and this part of the book does a nice job of discussing the idea of a grand conspiracy and attempting to convince the reader. However, when we get into Part Two, things change for the worse. I'm not saying that I completely disbelieve the claims of a secret journey to the alien planet Serpo forty light years from Earth, but the book sure doesn't present the case all that effectively. What we have is a poorly written account made up from communications with someone named "Anonymous" who allegedly has access to information about this alleged mission. Large portions of the diary of the mission commander are reproduced that tell the story of the trip to Serpo and the thirteen year stay of a human crew hosted by the aliens. We are also presented with portions of transcripts of presentations to U.S. President Reagan where he is being briefed about the aliens and the missions, etc. Interspersed among the text are silly images of things like the cast of Star Trek, movie posters and numerous references to the movie Close Encounters Of The Third Kind (which is also allegedly based on the same story) and miscellaneous items mentioned in the text such as jeeps and automatic pistols. This all robs the story of credibility, and made it seem to me like a bit of a piss-take, and the text doesn't flow well. I'd really like to say that the book convinced me that there was indeed a secret journey to Serpo and a relationship built with another intelligent species in the Galaxy, but it unfortunately doesn't. I do plan to read Len Kasten's other book The Secret History of Extraterrestrials: Advanced Technology and the Coming New Race to see if he recovers and manages to convince to me what is possibly the biggest and most fantastic story in human history.
Could be "the rest of the story" of Close Encounters of the Third Kind. If even 1/100th of the stuff in this book is true, it's mind bending. It's hard to believe the same ETs would be involved with both Jesus and Hitler, however. And just what is all the obsession with genetic engineering about? Makes no sense.
This entire review has been hidden because of spoilers.
Interesting read. Even more mind blowing if it's actually true. Pretty out-there story and all, but not much concrete evidence to back up the claims of the sources and whistleblowers. But of course, if it were true that would be the case too, so who knows? I do know that this book was entertaining and thought-provoking. I kind of hope that it did happen, even if it seems wildly far-fetched. :)
An interesting read about a group of humans sent by the US government on an alien ship to the planet Serpo for 13 years. The author claims this story to be true. True or not it is an interesting read and does make you think if something like this may have happened.
A good read for anyone into conspiracies, UFOs, scifi and space travel.
If this account is true than we do not have a monopoly on love and family. While there are distinct political cultures and the sense of the individual may be foreign to the Eben they certainly capable of individual thought and curiosity in spite of an apparent caste system.
If it’s true, it’s ridiculously rife with inconsistencies. If it’s not true, then it’s the most boring piece of fiction I have ever read. Either way, just don’t waste your time.
Such a bizarre work of fiction, the most wild part being the background information about Nazi bases in Antarctica. There is a lot of near truth in this part. Admiral Byrd did lead a military expedition to Antarctica, called project high jump, but it was not an assault on the underground nazi alien stronghold. There are "lakes" in Antarctica, but they're very far below the ice and liquid because of a combination of salt and pressure, not on the surface and able to be landed on by sea planes. Etc etc.
A trend I'm noticing in these books is explicit confusion between fiction and reality. In "Nothing in this Book is True..." Star Trek was the big reference point. In this one it's Close Encounters of the Third Kind. Neither claims the work is real per se, but both refer to them as accurate representations of true events, and directly informed by reality. Biopic rather than documentary. It's tricky because there's a mutually reinforcing nature to Sci fi and conspiracy/alien myth. Close Encounters... drew on existing alien mythos for its story and details, and has in turn added new material to the ongoing mythos. Much of the content comes from genuine accounts, but the accounts themselves are not necessarily true, and their representation in film is not evidence of anything other than that they are interesting.
I read this last year and no longer remember details, but I do remember that the first part was an interesting read and thought-provoking. The second part, which took the form of supposed journals, was disappointing. It was poorly written not in the 'well, you'd expect journals to be badly written' way, but in a 'no, that's not really how I'd expect scientists to write journals about aliens' way.
Hard to classify something that's so absent of physical proof as nonfiction, but I certainly don't think of it as Science Fiction. There's no primary source to examine or interview. The whole thing is a secret government-sponsored program, which by definition must be shielded from public scrutiny. "Loose lips sink ships."
But the story is based primarily on a series of emails from a government (DIA, purportedly) official; so we are made to accept that there's at least a few in the government who trust the public with a certain amount of formerly secret knowledge about extraterrestrial presence.
What makes me believe most of it is how crudely composed the excerpts from those emails are--just as one would expect from people from outside the journalistic/literary field. Engineers and technicians are notoriously bad writers.
Another thing the book has going for it is its consistency with well-accepted ET/UFO lore available on Youtube (e.g., Bill Uhouse, Bob Lazar and Dan Burisch) and literature such as Crash At Corona (Friedman), The Day After Roswell (Corso) and others like them.
This is not to say that Kasten isn't blowing a little smoke here and there, or passing along some second-hand smoke in the interest of book sales.
Regardless, practically anything by Kasten is a necessary read for anyone interested getting at the truth of the ET phenomenon, and something like the voyage to Serpo makes infinite sense, given the ramifications of well-documented and thoroughly investigated phenomena such as the Corona/Roswell crash. They came here, and they had to have had certain technologies to have made the trip. We needed that technology. Sending a team to investigate makes all the sense in the world. Something like the Serpo expedition had to have happened because not to have investigated such technology would have been dereliction of duty on behalf of national defense.
I'l post more later, but these are my initial thoughts.
Whether or not it's true is up to the reader but secret journey to planet serpo blew my mind although I was previously aware of the diary entries on serpo.org the book still gripped me from cover to cover. If you are an avid UFO enthusiast as am I then the serpo exchange program should be familiar to you. In a nut shell it is a book full of diary entries by the 12 alleged astronauts released by an anonymous whistleblower who journeyed to a planet 39 light years away within the Zeta Reticuli star system which was a planet inhabited by a race of beings termed by us as (Ebens).👍
The journey allegedly took place on July 16, 1965 where an enormous craft landed at the Nevada test site north of Las Vegas to pick up the waiting human astronauts. Following a plan set in motion by President Kennedy in 1962, the alien visitors welcomed 12 astronaut-trained military personnel aboard their craft for the 10-month journey to Serpo. In November 2005, former and current members of the Defense Intelligence Agency--directed by Kennedy to organize the Serpo exchange program ultimately came forward to reveal the black budget operation which included game changing details from the 3,000-page debriefing of the 7 surviving members of the Serpo team who returned after 13 years on the planet. I was fortunate enough to personally speak with former airforce intelligence operative Richard Doty who was privy to insider knowledge regarding the events and he confirmed that the exchange did in fact take place yet the number of astronauts is still questionable. Of course the whole thing sounds like pure science fiction but I'm a firm believer that these events transpired but then again maybe it's because I want it to be true so bad. Len Kasten did an excellent job with the book and if true then it's the single greatest science fact story in existence. Go and pick up secret journey to planet serpo if only for curiosities sake you won't be disappointed.🙌

Omg… just omg… I am a true « ET » believer and my guts tell me the us gov knows a bunch about the subject, more so than they are willing to admit, but this ??? I am So upset at the purple who rated this shit 4stars and + …!!! Are you seriously considering this book to be good ? The log entries are so poorly written !! Broken English from A to Z and I am NOT a native English speaker haha if I can Hell this pile of crap was either written by a child or a total retard then wtf you guys were on when you read it ??? Come on!! The « facts » and the « details » provided as to being those of the journey on planet Serpo wouldn’t even make for a spin off of a bad sci fi Story. Like the Serpo can travel through space and time 5 times or more the speed of life but couldn’t have someone learn proper English before ? Like they didn’t have 10 Years to do so ? And they left their planet to leave on a desert , hot planet in huts ? Like they don’t have the technology to find any better place right … and what about the lack of details… seriously if I were the chief officer of this crew on another planet my log would be filled with as many details as possible !!! From the colors I see to the textures to everything from the most stupid thing to the craziest one. Here there are no details and not even some « out of This world » details. They all Seem to come from a boring mind that has no creativity at all. A good exemple of the kind of material that makes the subject look ridicule. Good job !
Did it happen? Most likely, some version of it is true. Are there Extraterrestrial beings? Too many people have communicated with them over many many decades to deny their existence. The Journey to Serpo gives a documented journey on a 13 year stay for 11 government-chosen people who completed the voyage and lived among its inhabitants. I found the book to be captivating, but then since elementary school I have always believed that we are not the only inhabitants of the Universe. I was amazed at the arrogance and superior tones of the Americans. The anonymous journal by one of the eleven travelers made me smile at times. He did state that the female translator did have compassion when two Americans died during the stay. He never once stated:"Ebens are a peaceful people." He stated the calculated IQ of Ebens is around 165, with one surpassing all at 300. "They were a little smarter than us, being able to comprehend our language and our time periods." A little smarter"!?!? The amusing part is that the writer used Earth thinking, Earth concepts, and most sadly of all, the Earth war consciousness. The number of guns and weapons taken to Serpo was embarrassing. DId the travelers not think that even if the Ebens were war-like, their 'weapons' would be far more effective than American weapons? Too bad most of the journey was spent with Earth minds and concepts vs being receptive to expanding their minds and consciousness. All in good time, eh?
Even if you don't believe in aliens or the narrative that they are telling, it makes for good sci-fi. It's worth reading on those merits alone.
That having been said, I really hope that it's true. I lean towards believing it's true, but the thing about conspiracy theories is that they are sort of the mental version of chew toys. They're fun to gnaw on, but their dangerous if you swallow them.
I had already come across the transcript or the Reagan debrief from march of 1981 randomly on the internet and had originally chalked it up to living in the same space as the Russian sleep experiment story, but over time, there have been little things that have jumped out as independently confirming small parts of the story.
This book is more or less a compendium of information that you can already find on www.serpo.com. That having been said, the author ties together a few things and adds commentary that aren't on the site.
It's a quick read that should give you something for your brain to chew on.
I first read this book a year ago and found it truly fascinating, and have just re-read it again. The controlled conditions the twelve astronauts endured regards the secrecy of the project before and after the journey could best be described as downright inhuman. It just goes to show the lengths the Illuminata, the secret government will go to, to hide the truth from the world of mans greatest achievement in denying those who endured the hardships and put their lives on the line, for humanity's sake should remain faceless and nameless, even after their deaths all from illnesses directly related to and from radiation contamination. And it just shows of the mindset of the secret government in keeping the mindblowing technology the Eben's have provided to mankind that would benefit the world of free energy and an end to fossil fuels that's slowly destroying the environment with climate change. A brilliant book and read.
I can't remember how I got my hands on this specific book, but it was an entertaining read - providing you read it with an open mind. No one can be certain about the veracity of the facts mentioned, particularly the second part of the book, but if you take the inter-planetary travel and long stay on a foreign planet as a 'why not?', it is a story that makes a good job at being entertaining and even plausible to an extent. It is worth noting that there is a website that shares a lot more information and includes email exchanges with the supposed 'source' for most of the information cited in the book. As I wrote, go into it with an open mind and you will find it interesting, otherwise you might be disappointed.
This book I reas out of curiosity. I kept seeing or reading about pieces that pertained to this book and author. I decided to read it and found it very informative. I thought more about the mission/adventure of the men going to Serpo would be explained. It is more about the backstory leading up to the journey. There is a bit on the initial trip to Serpo and some of their experiences in the first three years. However, it does leave lots of holes of what else happened, what did they learn, etc. It is a great read and very interesting.
There are too many inconsistencies in this book. Here are just a couple. 1. After 13 years of communications with EB2 the communications barrier would have improved unless neither side was learning anything. There was no indication it did. 2. There was little information regarding EB2. In close contact for 13 years both parties are bound to share personal information. EB2 was just as mysterious after 13 years as it was at their introduction.
WoW. Eye opening. Especially the part where the movie is based off real events. Which doesn't surprise me at all. I've always had this wierd feeling most movies we see are based upon our lives past or future. Like if we're in a situation then that would be possible and phesable. I believe anyways. Amazing book. Well worth the read. Open your mind. [No that doesn't mean believe in fairy tails] Means use your common sense. 😉 LoL. Sorry.
Learn the very Important Truth about ET’s and our Universe
