La secolarizzazione è un saggio che racconta della storia della separazione tra Stato e Chiese e non è davvero niente più che l’esposizione di eventi e fatti così come sono accaduti.

Tuttavia, ne trovo utile la lettura perché oggigiorno si tende a dimenticarsi del fatto che la secolarizzazione non ha liberato solo la parte laica della società, ma anche quella religiosa, rendendo entrambe (almeno in teoria) libere dall’influenza e dal potere dell’una sull’altra.

Une synthèse un peu décevante, qui balaye tout sans suffisamment d'analyses claires et poussées. Peut-être du à la fois à la structure choisie par l'auteur et des pays abordés trop nombreux qui finissent par embrouiller l'évolution générale. Les derniers chapitres étaient cependant mieux que le début.
