Great choice apps
This is a great book with some very choice apps. Some of these are no brainers, and are usually downloaded first thing when I have a new device. Also some very good apps that I never heard of.
All in all a very good book for the price. + it updated twice since I have been reading it. Talk about staying relevant. Worthy of all 5 stars.

Great book!
I never knew most of these apps existed. What a great compilation of fun, productivity, shopping...etc.
Make sure you go through the whole book. You won't be disappointed.

Very diverse collection.
I hope the authors keep updating. This provided a basic but wide variety of apps in a number of categories.

Good information on the best Apps to get For the Kindle Fire.
This book has a lot of good information on good apps to get by category. I wish they had more on apps to play music that is on the Kindle already instead of one's that stream music. The one contention I have is some of the Apps they had listed in the book I tried to download to my Kindle (I have a Kindle Fire HD 10, 7th generation) and found they were not compatible with my device. A good idea for future editions of this book is to mention any incompatibility issues that are known, so people will know if is not good for their device.

Great App Info with Loads of Details
While I received this book while purchasing another book, it was definitely worth having & reading. Mega info on every app category with many free apps listed, along with some paid apps. Each app listed also had detailed information available. They also provided some great tips & places to go to get further information. I especially liked being given a link to go to & understand all the different permissions that the apps request having access to!!

Provides overview and recommendations for apps that cover all user interests. It is helpful that the recommended apps have free or paid notation. A suggestion is that the apps be reviewed for any changes including price increases every year or two. For a new user to the Amazon tablets (Kindle Fire), this information is tremendously helpful. This shows the many varied apps that the user can run, and introduce apps that a new user is not even aware that there exist or can run on the Kindle Fire, Amazon tablet.

Good and helpful references
Because, quite new to Kindle HD8, I wanted to find some new bits and pieces. Although when I checked on Amazon UK quite a few of the apps are currently unavailable which was frustrating, at the same time, others work and adds dimension to my Kindle use :)

I rated two stars because this book is now out of date unless you have an old Fire. I did pick up a couple of things to try on my old Fire when I first got this book. Now that I have a Fire 10, it's no longer useful.

great reference book
Found many great apps with a synopsis so I can plan a "shopping trip " in the Apps store without having to hunt through the thousands of apps available.

It isn't an all-inclusive list but it does have some interesting apps to add to your Kindle Fire. Now I need to decide which apps to keep or add a larger SD card.

Good for beginners.
If you have used android systems for some time then this is not for you. It does have many good apps but a quick search would get them because they are mostly the top rate or near the top.
I would definitely recommend for new users though.
