For Trey DeLuca, the idea of settling down was entirely unsettling. As VP of sales for his family’s wine company, he’s never in any one city—or with any one woman—for long, which is how he likes it. But when family obligations keep him temporarily grounded in his hometown, he finds the perfect distraction. She’s sweet, gorgeous, and sexy as hell…only her life screams commitment.
Between raising her son and struggling to keep her dance school afloat, Sara Reed has her hands full. Dance students she needs—a steamy tangled sheets cha-cha with a self-admitted commitment-phobe? Not going to happen. But sparks fly as the town prepares for a big Valentine’s Day gala, and Trey strikes a deal with Sara…he’ll “manny-up” and watch her son in exchange for ballroom lessons.
With love quickstepping ever closer, Sara needs to teach this playboy some new steps or risk losing him—and her heart—forever.

Be Mine Forever was a cute holiday romcom book. In it, you will meet Trey and Sara. He is the youngest in his family and a bachelor for many reasons. One of them is being the whole no commitment part. Well, that was until he ran into Sara. Now she is a widow, single mother, and a dance instructor. She's also the one to get him to start leaning towards commitment.
It doesn't hurt that his family is all about the matchmaking business. They could clearly see the connection forming between these two and pushed them towards one another so many times. Heck! I'll even admit that they had great chemistry with one another. It just sucks that they would dance around one another and the idea of them being together for so long.
Ugh! It was frustrating.
In the end, it was a cute book, and I liked the romance that bloomed between them. I just kind of wished things slowed down towards the end but that could just be me.
Marina Adair'sSt. Helena Vineyard has quickly become one of my favorite series so I have been eagerly awaiting Be Mine Forever. This fourth installment is youngest brother Trey and Sara Reed's story and their romance is just as sweet, passionate and alluring as the older DeLuca brothers' stories.
Be Mine Forever opens with Trey's hurried and harried trip home to St. Helena where he discovers the family emergency does not involve illness or impending death. Instead his clever grandmother ChiChi has summoned Trey home to act as her dance partner in the upcoming annual Winter Garden Gala. His brothers are impervious to his pleas to escort her in his place so Trey gracefully accedes to her wishes. Needing to brush up on his dancing skills, Trey turns to local dance instructor Sara, a widow and mom who recently relocated to St. Helena to realize her dream of owning a dance studio. The sparks are soon flying between Sara and Trey and they indulge in a short term fling before Trey leaves town.
Trey's job in the family's wine business provides him with a convenient excuse to avoid settling down. His (misplaced) guilt over the deaths of his parents haunts him and although he loves his family, his need for emotional distance keeps him far away from home. Trey is affable and quite charismatic but he is not interested in a serious relationship. Instead he has a past that is chockfull of empty encounters and unfortunately, some of these short-lived affairs took place a little too close to home. Much to his chagrin, he runs into some of his previous partners at the most inopportune times but these confrontations leave him vowing to stop indulging in meaningless sex.
While Sara may no longer be mourning her husband, she is still not quite ready to jump back into dating. She is stretched thin with caring for her young son Cooper and getting her dance studio up and running. Sara is surprised by her unexpected attraction to Trey but she is content to keep their relationship on a friendly, but professional, level. But once her long dormant desires are awakened, she finds it difficult to ignore the simmering desire she feels for Trey.
Right from the beginning, Trey's reaction to Sara is very different from anything he has previously experienced. She does not strike the "settling down" fear in him and he is surprised by how comfortable he is with her. Of course, this smooth talker cannot resist trying to charm Sara into his bed but she rebuffs Trey at every turn. Instead they settle into an easy friendship that crackles with sexual tension.
The relationship between Trey and Sara is unhurried and I loved watching them explore their unexpected passion. There is genuine affection on both sides and Trey is refreshingly honest with Sara about his future plans. Instead of jumping headlong into an affair, they discuss the possible consequences of their actions and Trey takes Sara's concerns about Cooper quite seriously. They are both careful to present a "friends only" facade around him and in public. Love creeps in unexpectedly for both of them and a family emergency puts their relationship in jeopardy.
The rest of DeLuca brothers and sister Abby are absent for much of Be Mine Forever. Instead Trey fills in for the various "husbandly" roles and he is the go to guy for his nieces. He grows much closer to his sisters-in-law and he uses them as a sounding board when he needs relationship advice. Of course there are some seriously "awww, how sweet" moments with his nieces that really highlight how much he has changed during his unanticipated stay in St. Helena. It is with ChiChi that the most touching moments occur and provide him with a new perspective on both his past and his future. But it is an impromptu heart to heart with his brothers that proves to be most illuminating for Trey.
Be Mine Forever is another superb addition to the St. Helena Vineyard series. The characters are richly developed with realistic flaws that are easy to relate to. The plot is beautifully executed and the conflict never overpowers the story. The DeLuca family is wonderfully imperfect but their love and support for one another is unconditional. Now that Marina Adair has given each of the brothers their happily ever afters, she turns her attention to sister Abby's love life in the next installment. She has paired Abby with a character that I have loved since his first introduction and I am quite impatient to experience their fiery love story!
The youngest boy in the family, Trey DeLuca is the one we knew as the flirt, the hotheaded . But his story will show us there's so much more to him than meet the eyes. As the spokesperson for the family's wine company, Trey is always traveling. But having no home port always suited him before and made it easier for him to run away from his feelings about his parent's death and the newly marriage bliss his brothers succumbed to. But when his grandmother ask him to be her dance partner for a gala, he'll begin to rethink things over and especially after meeting the dance teacher, a widow and single mother.
Sara Reed lost the love of her life when her husband died in combat. She's not opposed to finding someone again but she think she'll have to settle for a nice relationship more based on affection, friendship and respect than passion. Trey DeLuca will change the way she see things on this subject.
If you have said to a commitment-phobe like Trey that the next month would be spend driving his niece to dance class and helping little boy with toy car, he wouldn't have believe you. But that's the thing about him that not a lot of people realize : he would do anything for his family. He also feel an instant connection with Sara but know she's not like his usual type. Too bad his usual type always reappear when he's trying to invite Sara for a date.
Sara was a great heroine. A woman who take her feelings seriously, is a good mom and who smile easily, despite a busy life. But for me, it's obvious that this book was much more about Trey, about him growing up, rearranging his priorities and finally finding his way. I enjoyed seeing a more mature Trey and to understand that in truth, he care so much and he is the one you can always count on. The beauty is that falling in love with Sara and connect with her son made him realize that it's okay to take time for him too.
This was my favorite of the series! I could tell as the series went on and Trey became more and more exasperated by the domesticity of his brothers, he was probably going to be knocked on his ass by someone. And of course he was. Sara was the perfect one to do it too.
*ARC received for an honest review original post at: Ramblingsfromthischick.blogspot.com and booknerdloleotodo.blogspot.com I was really looking forward to reading “Be Mine Forever” by Marina Adair for Valentine’s Day holiday. I was looking forward to a sweet and sappy romance. I saw wonderful reviews for the author and her other works. I expected a fun and light romance. I was half right. I tried a couple of times to get into this romance but it fell flat to me. When we meet Trey he is running frantically to his grandma’s side fearing the worst (Not a big spoiler here: she is fine). There is so much “extra” drama and extra obsessive thoughts, does she like? Does he like me? It’s hard to picture the hero and heroine as two functioning adults in this book. To me, they seem like two teenagers trapped in adult bodies. Trey DeLuca is a successful business man, he with his brothers and sister have a very successful wine company. Trey is your average hot, new women-every-month kind of guy. Typically I find these type of characters fun, because I like to see them fall in love with the heroine… That was not the case with this story. Trey was so obnoxious and extremely corny. I had to roll my eyes at his pick- up lines. They were awful. The first two minutes of meeting Sara he keeps making comments about undressing her. His overly obnoxious comments continue on for the rest of the story. I get it, you’re a stud but at least make an effort to be charming. I did enjoy the dynamic he had with his family. All his brothers are married, or getting married or new fathers, so he feels like the odd man out. He sees that all his brothers have moved on from being single. I didn’t quite understand Trey’s confusion about this. He seemed to have a little bit of a hard time dealing with his brothers growing up. Try joining them (hint-hint). Sara Reed is a widow with a young son. She owns a dance studio and gives Trey’s grandma dance lessons. She is instantly attracted to Trey but feels clumsy in the dating world and really anywhere else… She crashes her car into his and then can’t seem to get her coat off… Again…eye-rolling here. So, Sara is a widow and she is balancing motherhood and working. These are all understandable. Sara is attracted to Trey and he is attracted to her and all of the sudden they start to obsess about where there relationship is going. Sara is concerned about what Trey is looking for, why didn’t she just ask him? Save herself all the extra drama? My biggest issue with her… she trades dancing lessons with Trey if he will babysit her son. I have a big issue with this… Usually these types of scenarios are cute and endearing but they did not work. I found the entire story to be choppy and my attention wandered. This book received so many good reviews I was really looking forward to it, but it did not work for me. I will say some things I did like. The grandma, ChiChi, was adorable even though extremely meddlesome. Sara’s son was also adorable and very likeable character. Trey’s siblings don’t play a big part of the book but their presence does. I would say, anything that did not include Trey and Sara was enjoyable. I know! Ouch! But really…I can’t think of any more annoying characters then these two… Happy Valentine’s Day!
Trey de Luca is the youngest in his family and a self proclaimed bachelor. He doesn’t do commitment and is determined to stay away from his home town as often as possible. When he meets Sara Reed, a widow, single mother and dance instructor, all his preconceived notions and idea are put to the test.
This is the fourth book in the St. Helena Vineyard series. All the books center around a different couple but they are, so far, all from the same family. Each book can be read as a stand alone. the family is in all the books but you aren’t left confused if you start in the middle of the series.
I loved Trey and Sara together! They are so sweet and the vibe they give off is just so fun to read. There is a quite a bit of them dancing around each other before things get serious but I liked it. It is pretty similar to the other de Luca brothers since they all seem to be leery of love and commitments. However Trey does take his anti-commitment to a different level. Several times he is approached but his past lovers when he is with Sara and she took it much better than I would have. In fact she never seemed all that turned off by his man-whoring past and just accepted him as he was.
There were several sensitive issues in this book but it was all done very tastefully. Sara has been widowed young and while she does love her husband, she is also open to falling in love again. I liked that. Her willingness to put herself out there made her such an amazing heroine to read about. She was just genuinely a great person and even though she had her flaws, it made her real. Trey was also battling his issues but we don’t get as much of a resolution for him that we get for Sara. He has always felt guilty about his parents death since they died in a car crash coming home for him and it keeps him running from his hometown and commitment. I would have liked for him to have a conversation with Sara or his Nonna (Grandmother) in regards to his feelings but we don’t really get that.
My main complaint was the way the book ended. It needed an epilogue or at least a few more pages. Its seemed to me the book ended a bit abruptly. I wanted to see if Trey did go camping with Cooper, what happened with the property in Italy? Otherwise I loved the book and this series. I love going back to St. Helena and catching up with all the characters from the previous books and seeing what’s in store for the other family members. There is only one de Luca sibling left now, the only girl and her book is next. I hope that Adair will continue with this series featuring other town members after she completes the de Luca family. It’s such a wonderful place to visit that it would be hard to say goodbye to it completely.
If I had to describe Be Mine Forever the 4th book in the St. Helena’s Vineyard series in one word it would be “tiresome.” Admittedly the hero of this story Trey DeLuca hadn’t made a very positive impression on me in the previous books about his 3 older brothers finding their HEA. Still because I had enjoyed the first 3 books I went into this one hoping for the best. By the time I was 70% done with the story I was so tired of Trey not being able to see the forest for the trees, it was just plain tiresome as he continued to deny the reality that Sarah and her son Cooper were the answers to his empty, joyless existence. All the reasons to abandon his plans to relocate to Italy and build a life with Sarah and Cooper were there hitting him in the face with repeated regularity on every page yet he kept insisting on adhering to those plans. Honestly any man that dense just didn’t deserve the love of a good woman like Sarah. Yeah, I get that his guilt over his perceived role in his parents death made it uncomfortable for him to stay in St. Helena. Still you’d think at some point prior to the HEA he’d figure it out. I actually found myself cheering for Roman. On the upside we got to spend quite a bit of time with Sarah who is wonderful and her son Cooper and the three DeLuca women, Regan, Lexi and Frankie from the previous books. There’s no doubt who was really calling the shots in the DeLuca family and it wasn’t their macho Italian husbands. Nope it is clearly Abby and her sisters-in-law. And of course Noona ChiChi and her minions the meddling grandmas brought their usual brand of humor to the story. Of course just when things are looking the most desperate and it appears Trey has blown his and Sarah’s chance for their HEA he finally comes to his senses, makes the big romantic gesture and (say it all together) they all live happily ever after. But seriously watching Trey fail to connect the dots and get his head out of his ass (which was the only real storyline) for 99% of this story was just painfully tiresome.
I loved this story! It was cute, funny and it totally just clicked for me. Since this is the first book I have read in the series I am excited to say I want to read every single book!
The characters are well written and the family is endearing. I loved the brothers but Trey was just wow! I love how he took to Sara's son and wanted her even know he knew he was leaving. In the end Trey even surprises his self with his feelings which was nice.
I am reading these all out of order but it doesn't matter because I can't wait to see what each book will bring. This is truly a great series!

I have finally found the time to read this one and although it is a feel good book, I would nothing really special about it.
Trey has been duped into coming home by his family believing that his Nonna is ill only to find they want him home to attend the Winter Gala as his Nonna's date.
The same day he meets Sara who accidentally knocks into the car that he has borrowed from a friend and he sees something in her that he wants.
Both recognise a similar experience in each other and support each other while helping themselves to grow as people and open up about things they have not done in the past.
There is a good supportive cast and the book can certainly be read as a stand alone.
I fell in love with Cooper from the first page. What a delis little boy. Sara and Trey are a great couple and I really wanted them to find their happy ending. Happy ☺reading 📚!
Oh yes! Frankie and Nate, just knew there was a story there and it is a great one! Add in the alpaca and what could go wrong. I love this series and these DeLuca boys are falling hard and fast and with style. I cannot wait to see where this series goes next.
Marina Adair’s, St. Helena Vineyards series is quickly becoming one of my favorite, go to, feel good series and Be Mine Forever is perhaps one of my favorites. Set in wine country I have enjoyed watching each of the DeLuca siblings fall, and Trey DeLuca was no exception. Mini review: heart-warming and hot with a little boy who stole my heart.
Adair has created such a unique town with characters you cannot help, but fall in love with. Sara and Trey immediately stole my heart. Between their back stories and the tango, they danced I practically melted. There is certainly some heat, but it was the dance that made my toes curl. From the delicious, sometimes snarky banter to the blushes and unexpected feelings I was completely swept up in wanting my HEA. Sara’s son Copper just stole my heart from his struggles to his wide eyed grins of awe. Once again the author brings to life both wine country and the small town of St. Helena. ChiChi’s shenanigans and heart-warming stories made me smile and giggle. We get more face time with couples from the previous books and the interactions with Trey’s sister-in-law and niece were hilarious.
Be Mine Forever was a sweet romance with a couple who had perfect chemistry. Trey and Sara are a couple you cannot help but champion. Adair made me feel for them and I became completely swept up as the romance unfolded. She avoided unnecessary angst while peeling back Trey’s layers. He is complicated, noble, incredibly sweet and just so damn sexy. *swoon* One of my favorite aspects of this series is its small town dynamics. I love their traditions, competitions and the wine making business that impacts most of the town. I found myself equally caught up in their stories and those of the other DeLuca siblings. Once again Adair had me closing the book with a smile and eager to visit again.

Be Mind Forever is a wonderful addition to the St Helena series and although this is the fourth book, you can easily read it as a stand-alone. The author seamlessly incorporates characters from previous books in the story and you do not feel like you have missed a thing; however I would recommend the first books in the series as they are all very good.
Trey DeLuca is the youngest of the four DeLuca brothers and the last to find love, which is fine with him as he travels around the world selling the wine from his family’s vineyard. He has not felt comfortable around his family since his parents died several years ago and has recently decided to buy a home in Italy, further separating himself from family. Yet his family is not ready to let him go and make plans to keep him around the area to see what he is missing.
The town of St. Helena is getting ready for The Winter Garden Gala, the largest celebration of the year on Valentine’s Day. Trey knows he must stay and help with the celebration and is happy when he meets the new young dance instructor in town. Sara Reed moved here eight months ago to start a new life; she is a young widow and single mother, whose husband died while in the military. She has no room in her life for a temporary relationship and Trey is as commitment shy as they come.
Trey and Sara are a perfect match as they dance around their attraction, their story is full of humor and laughter as the locals in town try to keep Trey from leaving again for good.
I thoroughly enjoyed this book and look forward to more featuring the scenic vistas of California wine country and antics of the DeLuca family. I highly recommend this series for anyone who enjoys family sagas with intriguing characters, humor and romance.

I've had the pleasure of reading all of Adair's Vineyard books, falling in love with them page by page. I'm addicted to her quick wit, fresh writing style, roaring humor, and three-dimensional characters. This book was no different. However, of all the titles to date, this one seemed to have the most heart. Trey snagged me immediately, and Sara was a wonderful match for him. It was nice to see this play out realistically and watch them grow. As always, the setting and secondary characters were perfect. Not to be missed!
BLURB: Trey DeLuca is the VP of sales for his family’s wine company, he’s never in any one city—or with any one woman—for long, which is how he likes it. I received a copy of this book from the publisher through Netgalley - thank you.
Well, I didn't expect to like this as much as I did. The series is about a rich family with 4 brothers and one sister. I have read the first 2 books, missed the 3rd and now this is the 4th. It is about the youngest brother. I just get tired of the cliche story with the rich guy, in most cases a player, a struggling female usually poorer or in trouble in some way, then the family and town being manipulative. In this case, the grandma gets into things.
So why did I like this one better? Well I liked the female even though she did have her struggling. Her struggles were not so crazy ridiculous as some of the earlier books. I liked the character of her son and his issues very much. And the youngest brother, our hero, did things which were very regular guy in this story, mostly.
And this book had some really funny parts. I laughed out loud a number of times, always a good thing.
Be Mine Forever (St. Helena Vineyard, Book 4) by Marina Adair (Netgalley arc) 2★
At the beginning Trey got on my nerves with his desire to do only "manly things" - like loving and spending time with your kid isn't a manly thing to do in his opinion, let alone always talking about them. I just didn't like him. The storyline was predictable and even had the pushy family members that helped the main characters realize that they're in love (like they couldn't do that on their own). I jumped into the middle of this series. I think this could be a stand-alone book as I wasn’t confused. And I might read others if it's still available for Kindle Prime Loaning (borrowing). The California setting was nice.
Trey has been running from the guilt of his contribution to his parents' death and his family for 15 years. Now he has been black-mailed into dancing with his grandmother ChiChi at the annual Valentine's Ball which involves dancing lessons with Sara, the town's new dance teacher. Sara, widowed with a 5-year old, knows Trey does not do commitment, but maybe they can have some fun together as she starts stepping out into the world again. Loved the characters.
So a guy wants to get in a woman’s pants, but he doesn’t want a commitment. So he tries and tries, slowly and I mean very slowly does finally convince her. That goes on throughout the book until the final chapter. How’s that for boring. Besides being emotionless, drama less, etc.
Well, I read this just because it was the last in a series and I just felt obliged to finish, even knowing it would be no better than the ones before it. My rejoicing at being set free was short-lived; the brothers have a sister.
Looks like the last of the De Luca brothers has fallen! What a great story and as always Marina Adair has written it wonderfully. I love this series of books. Can't believe I have fallen behind. I highly recommend this book.
Marian Adair has a way with characters. I actually found myself crying during this book and not because of the romance but because this book is so much more than a man and a woman. It's about family.
Trey and Sara’s romance unites the determined to stay single DeLuca bachelor and VP of Sales and a widowed dance studio owner and overwhelmed single mother who is raising a 5 year old son. When a health emergency scheme perpetrated by his grandma ChiChi calls Trey home for a month of dance lessons in preparation for the town’s traditional Winter Garden Gala Trey finds himself obsessed with the beautiful and petite military widow. I loved the exploration of ChiChi and her octogenarian besties schemes against ChiChi’s dance competitor, the well meaning meddling of Trey’s brothers and their spouses, and the plight of Sara’s son Cooper who is the only boy in his camping group who doesn’t have a father. A lot can happen in a month as sexual attraction and close proximity blur the lines between a temporary hook up and the possibility of broken hearts. The struggle of all three characters is compelling as Trey fights painful memories and his reasons for avoiding St. Helena and Sara succumbs to temporary passion but worries about both her and Cooper’s hearts when Trey leaves town. Their chemistry is appealing, their secret rendezvous are exhilarating, and the Winter Gala events are life altering for them all. Their story is multilayered, emotion driven and endlessly appealing as the last DeLuca male standing bites the dust and finds a forever family of his own.
Of the four DeLuca brothers, Trey was my least favorite. I understand that it is difficult being the youngest brother. You keep thinking that you're catching up to your older siblings, but then they take that next step without you. Trey has been dealing with that his entire life. For most of the book I felt that Trey acted like a spoiled child. Instead of dealing with his issues, he would run away. He tries to tell himself that he's being loyal to the family and the business, but it gives him an excuse to run.
Sara was the reason I enjoyed this book. She is a strong woman. She is raising her son alone after her husband dies. Even though she needs the her sister-in-law's help, she encourages her to follow her dreams.
Trey is home for a short period but somehow his Nonna finds a way to keep him around a little longer. In the meantime, Nonna Chichi insists that Trey needs to sharpen his dancing skills by taking lessons from the new dance instructor, Sara. While Trey finds his place in the family, Sara begins to put her life back together but can both find their happily ever after together or will self imposed expectations drive the two apart?
