The plot is ridiculous, and poorly executed. It reads more like a soap-opera than an actual book. The time line is kind of off. Warning: LOTS OF SPOILERS

I hated the two main characters. They were both tstl and deserved each other

The style was messy, and there were so many grammar/spelling/typos/whatever mistakes it was painful to read. I mean, someone was routing for a couple and I got tired of reading "your late" and that kind of nonsense.

ETA: Reread September 2016, still hate it.

Seriously? DNF --- knocked up at 14 and about to become a partner at the office before 20? really? Nicknamed "Satin" when I'm rather certain the author meant Satan. Couldn't afford diapers and to take him to the Doctor but he's in every sport? Sports are expensive, getting straight A's? The dad was working two jobs but the younger siblings get new cars? None of this story makes sense and that I was just in the first chapter! I can't imagine it gets better!

GAH!!!!! I was basically angry for... 100% of this book!!!! I liked Lexi at the start, but by the end... not much at all. And Zander? I pretty much wanted to b*tch-slap him all through the book... URGH!!!! And what was Tanner? A filler??!!! Having him in there just totally confused me!

No disrespect to the author, because it was a well written story... It just didn't do much for me except make me mad!

Ashley did an amazing job in telling this story of love, heartbreak, and second chances. Once I started reading I did not put it down until the very end. I loved every single moment in Lexi and Zander's story. This story seemed so real and I could connect with each character and feel the emotions they were experiencing as if they were my own.

Lexi is a truly remarkable women, who took a hard situation and made the best of it. She put her son before herself which is rare for such a young parent. Her love never wavered from Zander even after all those years apart. When she returns to her hometown with her son, she is able to come out of her shell and live a little, which I thought was very entertaining. I could totally see someone who hasn't had a very social life react to certain situations the way she did.

Zander is the kind of guy that you wish you had the experience of falling in love with. Even after being apart from Lexi all those years his feelings are just as strong, but he tries to protect himself from any more hurt that Lexi could cause. When he finds out about his son, he reacts in a way that is to be expected. I won't go into detail because I don't want to ruin it for anyone, but I am sure you will fall in love with Zander just like I did.

Throughout the story there is the right amount of drama and romance. I even laughed out loud a few times. It took me a while to figure out how to write this review because I was for sure my words could not express how much I love this book. I highly recommend if you are looking for a great love story with an HEA.

DNF after 40% (although 6 pages was more than enough). I really wanted to give this book every opportunity to win me over. The synopsis was intriguing, but the story was not well executed. I started taking notes almost immediately after I began reading and after filling 6 index cards (front and back) of flawed and unsound information, I decided that it was a poor use of my time. The writing was comparable to a middle school student. The story lacked depth, texture and character - it was flat and consisted of too many empty adverbs. The dialogue was phony and the author tried too hard to tell us what was happening rather than showing us what was happening. Many portions of the story didn't make sense, however, I read on hoping that at some point the author would pull it together but there is only so much time I was willing to invest. My last thought on this book: Disappointing

Growing up Lexi had two best friends, Zander and Bray. Bray was her best girlfriend and Zander and her were in love. Lexi was the middle child of 5 and her parents didn't exactly pay a lot of attention towards her. Bray and Zander were everything to her. Zander made her feel special and loved. But at the age of 14 her mother sent her away to live with her grandmother when she found out that she was pregnant. She never told Bray or Zander what had happened and she never had the chance to say goodbye. Now 10 years later Lexi is going back home to say goodbye to her sick mother. She is scared to go home, not knowing how people will act. What happens if she sees Zander? At some point she has to tell him the truth. And will Bray hate her for leaving with no explanation of contact over the past 10 years. There are so many ifs but Lexi knows that it is time to face the music.

When Lexi left him all the years ago, Zanders heart was broken and he wasn't sure if her would ever recover. Lexi was the girl who had him heart and soul. She was everything to him. He did everything he could to find out what happened and why she left. But he came to realize that he just needed to move on with his life. That Lexi was not coming back. So that is exactly what he did. He is now a few weeks away from getting married to Emerson, the woman that he now loves. The last thing he expected was to ever see Lexi again. But there she was right in front of him on the checkout line of the supermarket. Seeing Lexi stirred up some old feelings in Zander, ones that I think he was afraid to admit himself. What happens when he discovers that Lexi is not here alone? Will he be able to forgive her? Is there any chance that they will get a second chance and become a family or will he choose to stay with Emerson?

Zander loved Lexi and to this day I think she still owned a piece of his heart. But he moved on and was happy. I honestly felt so bad for him. He as so conflicted with his feelings. I think he knew he loved Lexi more and knew that he wanted to be with her but he was also very loyal to Emerson. I loved Zander but there was a moment where I wanted to punch him. Now I know what Lexi did was wrong on so many levels. Even if forced to leave there was a point where she could have mentioned to Zander that he had a child. But either way I didn't think she deserved what Zander did. But despite being a jerk for a moment, I still loved him. I was still rooting for the two of them to find their way back to each other. They were meant to be and were so perfect together. Zander just needed to see that.

Forgive Me is a story about forgiveness and second chances. I loved Lexi even though she made some mistakes. But she had her own issues as well. For years her family teated her differently and she never felt like she fit in. When she came home though her brothers surprised her and it was nice to see her have a relationship with them. I loved Faith her sister-in-law even if she was best friends with the enemy (meaning Zanders fiancé). But what I loved about her was that she never let that get in the way of her relationship with Lexi. They were family and all though they just met they hit it off instantly. She was there for her when she needed her. Bray is the perfect best friend and I loved their relationship. Forgive me was an emotional story that had some drama and angst but it also had its witty and fun moments as well. I loved how easily Zander and his son fell into the father/son role. Zander instantly fell in love with him and vice versa. This was a wonderful second chance love story by Ms. Beale!

**I received an ARC copy of this book in exchange for an honest review**

Ashley Beale has done it again! This book was like a breath of fresh air I absolutely love her writing style and lets face it, she tells a hell of a story every time!

Lexi Bennett was the middle child in a fairly large family. With two older brothers constantly chasing girls, two spoiled younger sister, a father who was always working, and a mother on every anti depressant imaginable, it seemed as if there was no room for Lexi. She felt as if she were invisible and the only person she had was her best friend and neighbor Bray....until she met Zander. Zander Daniels was the first person besides Bray who actually seemed to see Lexi and with the simple gesture of offering her a bite to eat a young romance began.
When Lexi and Zander decide to take their young love to the next level she never considered the possibility of creating a child and was soon sent off to live with her grandmother in Ohio having to leave behind the only person she ever loved without so much as a goodbye.
Fast forward ten years with Lexi's mom's health failing she is finally returning home to her family who she never felt close to and the only man she EVER felt close to. How can she tell Zander he's a father? Lexi also finds out that she isn't the only one who's been keeping secrets. She realizes that even after all of this time her love for Zander, and his for her has not faded! Talk about a roller coaster ride!!
Forgive me takes you on a journey of emotions and you will love every bit of it. Lexi has some serious decisions to make. Will she make the right ones? Can she ever forgive herself for her mistakes? Is it too late for her and Zander? It seems as if her life has been turned upside down and she continues to make one bad decision after another...
I hate spoilers because...well they spoil the story so I will just say this book is absolutely worth a read! Add it to your TBR, buy it, and read it! Loved it!!

*Excerpt*

"I didn't mean to snap at you back there. I just can't cancel the wedding. I do love Emerson, I do. I just..." He rubs his face with his hands and lays the back of his head on his seat, not facing my direction anymore. "You just?" He doesn't answer, so after a moment I reach for the door handle. "Don't worry about it Zander. I'll see you tomorrow." "I think I love you more." My head snaps back in his direction, my eyes wide, and my breathing stopped. What did he just say? "Y-you l-love me?" "Always have," he murmurs. I'm lucky i can even hear him. My heart is pounding soo hard I can hear it in my ears. "But I'm with Emerson," he adds on quickly in a louder tone, "and I'm sure you have someone back in Ohio." This wave I keep riding with Zander is going to make me sick. I feel loved, then hated, then adored, then betrayed, then admired, the heartbroken, and it's never ending. "I don't. I haven't. It's always been you Zander. Always." His eyes gloss and it surprises me a lot. I can't believe he is that emotional over this. "Why couldn't you have come back last year, Lexi? Hell last month even. Not two weeks before my wedding. I can't leave her now. I can't." Staring for only a few minutes, I nod my head and accept what is. This is my punishment. I place my hand back on the door handle and whisper out, "Like I said it's not too late." Then I climb out of his pickup, hoping he'll come after me. But he doesn't. He leaves. And a piece of me dies inside.

*******I was given this arc for an honest review.*****

I got this unedited arc to read for a review and even being unedited I found it to be a very good book. I loved the characters in
it and the story was so easy to fall in love with. Forgive Me by Ashley Beale is worth your time to get it and read it. I can connect with this story quite abit.

The story is about Lexi Bennett who had to leave town and everyone she loved at a very young age. She went to live with her grandmother without a word to anyone. Only her mother and father knew the real reason why she is gone. A mother who is drug dependent on antidepressents and a father that works 2 jobs to support his family. She has 2 older brothers that are always in trouble and 2 younger sisters that are spoiled rotten. And no one in the family even cares if she exists or not.

Lexi has 2 friends. Her bestie that lives next door, Bray, and Zander who live on the other end of the street. A boy she thought that would never give her the time of day. But that day came once while on the school bus on the way to school one morning and Zander gives Lexi a granola bar. He figured this was the easiest way to get to talk to her. At 13 years old she was taking care of herself because her mothers energy was focused on her siblings and as for Lexi that suited her fine. Bray is her bestie and Zander is the boy she played with rode bikes with, played ninetentendo with til he asked her on a date one day. From that day forward they were boyfriend and girlfriend. Til the day she was shipped to her grandmothers. She was told not to contact any one of her friends.

Zander is the boy that you always dream of when your young. The good looking boy that you never dream would give you the time of day.
He is the one that stole your heart when you were young and the one you never forgot about. He your first and only true love. Hes the home town hottie. And Zander is getting married to Emerson. Or is he?

When Lexi comes back to Texas after being gone 10 years to see her mother on her dying bed the town has nothing but questions when she comes back with her son! Lexi is a strong, spunky and independent woman now and has done nothing but further her career and devote her time and love to her son. What has she been doing all this time? Does she still have feelings for Zander and he her? What does Zander say when he sees her with a son? Why didnt she get ahold of Zander and her best friend Bray after she had gone? Is she back for good? Will Zander "Forgive Me"

I loved the story. It held my interest all the way thru it. It was an unedited arc I read and was easy to follow thru it. It has a good romance to it and I even laughed reading it. This is the perfect HEA story. I gave it 4.9 stars.

Feeling all alone and isolated, Lexi grew up a little different than the rest of her siblings. Being the middle child of 5 kids, it was hard to identify with them. But on one fateful day on the school bus, a boy gave her what she needed, a granola bar and a glimmer of hope that her life could be better. Zander and Lexi became not only best friends but were inseparable and had a wonderful summer romance. They had one night of passion - and a few months later - Lexi's mother shipped Lexi off to her grandmother to face her new future all alone and with the reminder of Zander everyday.

Now 10 years later, with minimal contact from her family in the interim, she is returning home to be with her mother during her mother's final days...with her 9 year old son.

Will the courage it took to get on the plane keep her grounded enough as she finds out that no one knew about her son, Justin? No one realized the true reason she left....her mother has told no one, not ever her dad.

How will Zander feel when he finds out the love of his life is back in town? And that he is a father?

As Zander is preparing for his upcoming wedding, will he be able to realize that the love that Lexi and him shared never went away?

And will Lexi realize that her family was always there for her, if she only would have trusted them?

I read this book in 2 sittings....I hope that gives you an idea on how absolutely addicting this story was. I loved Lexi. And her motherly instincts were so accurately portrayed - she truly put her son first (while some books forget that relationship between a mother and son for the sake of the romance).

And Zander was a great guy. I was so heart-broken for him because he truly was trying to do the right thing but keep his fragile heart in tact. I really was pushing for them.

My one flaw was that as a native Texan, some of the "Texan stereotypes" were a little too much at times. I get the language, the need for ranches, and horses, and cowboy hats with boots, and big trucks - and sometimes it was a little too much for me - but that being said, there are parts of Texas embody this stereotype.

I think Ashley did an amazing job with engaging the reader - hello, I read the book in 2 sittings...I stayed up to read it until 2 a.m., slept for 3 hours, woke up to finish it before I went to work for the day.

If you are looking for a sweet, feel-good story with some spicy scenes and a HEA - go grab this book, you will love it!!!

As the middle child who so often is ‘forgotten’, Lexi finds solace in her friend Zander. From the moment he first brought her something to eat, to the smile and shared moments. Lexi’s friendship with Zander grows with each passing day. With their friendship comes the growth of young love. As the two share in all of their ‘firsts’ with each other, one thing they didn’t count on was a lasting effect that would shape their lives to come.

Ten years later, Lexi returns to her hometown in Texas. Dread fills her at the thoughts of being with the family that treated her like she didn’t really exist. To her surprise, everyone is excited to have her home. The biggest surprise of all may be the son that accompanies Lexi back to her former home.

Lexi has a lot of explaining to do. Apparently, her mother never told anyone in their family that she sent Lexi away because of her pregnancy. No one in her family knew that Lexi was even pregnant. To make matters more stressful, Lexi never revealed to Zander that he had a son.

Explaining to Zander that he is Justin’s father couldn’t come at a worse time. Zander is getting married in two weeks. Not only does Lexi have to explain why she couldn’t tell Zander the truth during any point in the past 10 years, but she is struggling with her feelings. During all of the years they were apart, Lexi has never stopped having feelings for Zander.

With the looming wedding, her mother’s illness, and building a relationship with her family - Lexi must decide what part everyone will have in her son’s life. Now that Zander knows about his son, he is determined not to be separated from him again. The decisions Lexi makes next will affect everyone involved in her life.

Forgive Me is a story of young love, hidden secrets, and the effect of those secrets in one’s life. It is a story that readers can connect to on so many levels. There were a few times in the story where time was not clearly defined, but it didn’t effect the overall story. Readers will find a story that tugs at your heart from the beginning until the very last page.

I am giving 5 snowflakes to Forgive Me by Ashley Beale for Eskimo Princess Book Blog.

Forgive Me follows the path of Lexi and Zander, two young people who fall in love at the young age of 13. However, that love is ripped away from them when Lexi is unexpectedly sent from Texas to Ohio to live with her grandmother. Lexi stayed gone for 10 years before she returned to Texas with her son Justin because her mother was very sick and not expected to live. Lexi is an independent, smart, yet broken woman. She had to raise her son by herself with very little help. She done the best she could, but was it enough? How will she feel seeing the mother that sent her away again after all this time? Will her family accept her back into their life, even though it wasn’t her fault she was sent away?

Zander is a sexy, hardworking man on the verge of getting married. When Lexi steps back into his life with a son he never knew about he is shocked. He is angry and justifiable so. When they were children you could feel the love he had for her was true. He always put her first, even at the age of 14. What will he do when he finds out she has kept his son from him for almost 10 years? What will happen when his fiancé, Emerson, finds out about him and Lexi having a 9 year old child together?

I really liked the story line of this story. I feel for Zander because he missed so much with Justin, but I can understand why Lexi stayed away for so long. We see in the beginning how she was treated and I wouldn’t want to open up my child to that kind of hurt either. There were some issues that had me saying “what in the world” or “Why would they do that?” but those kinds of moments are what make a book what it is. Did I agree with some of the things that went on? No, but it is not meant for me to. Forgive Me kept me turning the pages way into the night. The only negative I could find was that in some places the jump in time was not always clearly defined, but it didn’t make things hard to follow.

Ashley has done an amazing job telling this story of heartbreak and second chances. I will admit that I read this story in one sitting and loved every single minute of it. While reading I laughed out loud and even got emotional during some parts. While doing this I felt as if I was connecting with the characters on a personal level and could feel everything that they were going through.

Lexi and Zander are both very strong characters that bring out feelings that most people would love to have or just experience with another person.

Lexi is a girl that had a life from hell to have final gained it all in the love of Zander. Once she found this love she had it all ripped out from her when she was shipped off to Ohio. While in Ohio she had her son Justin and has done everything to make a happy life for them and gives him everything his heart desires while she puts her life on the back burner to raise him at a young age. She then has to go back home were no one knows about Justin because he was kept a secret and not because Lexi wanted him to be. When she home her new life collides with her old one and feelings that she never gave up on come back with a vengeance.

Zander found his true love to only have her disappear without a word. He doesn't know if she is alive or dead but eventually moves on with his life. When he is about to get married his old life comes back to him with a few surprises. When Lexi returns with his son, Justin, he has a hard time adjusting to this fact. He no longer knows if he trust her or not. Will he return to the love of his life and son or will he get married to his fiancé?

Ashley was able to give just the right amount of drama and romance in Forgive Me that will make you fall in love with all of the characters. This is a book that I would recommend and even give as a gift to others just so that they could read her amazing work.

When I started reading this book I wasn’t sure what to expect. I was moved from the beginning and couldn’t put it down. This is a very touching story of love lost and found. I was pulled into the story and lives of the Lexi and Zander from the beginning of the book. The story touched my heart, made me cry happy and sad tears and yes it sometimes made me mad. All of that put together is what makes it an emotional charged, amazing book!
Lexi is an amazingly strong woman, but really never had a chance to experience a ‘normal’ life as a child. She was sent away from her family at a very young age to give birth to her child and become a mother. She had no choice but to grow up and make difficult choices to ensure help ensure her child’s future. Throughout the book we get to learn that everything is not always what it seems. There are many misconceptions purely from the lack of asking questions and the art of conversation.
Lexi and Zander have a very special bond that not many understand just how deep it goes. Not only does Lexi have many important decisions to make about her son, her life and their futures. She has to face a cruel reality of what could happen and except those potential consequences.
Zander has a lot thrown at him and does a pretty good job at taking it all in stride. In their reconnection after 10 years away, they both make mistakes and people get hurt. But in the end they both have to decide what is going to be best for the future of their son. True love might only happen once, but if you lose it can you get it back?
Ashley Beale has written an amazingly touching story of true love and the struggle to overcome some amazing obstacles. It demonstrates the importance of forgiveness; to have the strength and courage to accept and move past your mistakes, to grow and try to live a better life. It is important to remember that we can’t change the past but we can learn from it to make a better future.

This is a story of heartbreak, love and second chances…. The characters are written in a way you can connect and love them…. I read this book in one sitting it just kept me gripped and needing more.
Lexi and Zander were childhood sweethearts… he was the reason she got up every morning…..
At the tender age of fifteen… Lexi life took a rough turn and her mother sent off to live with her grandmother… she wasn’t even allowed to say goodbye and made to promise never to connect anyone.
Lexi stuck to the promise and made the best out of her rough situation and become a strong, independent woman….
Ten years later….. Lexi returns home to see her dying mother….. Everyone including her own father is shocked to see her with a beautiful nine year old son………..
Lexi is shocked to discover all the hurt her disappearance caused for so many people…..
Zander is quite simply an amazing guy…. After the initial shock of discovering he has a son…. He steps up to be the best father he can…..
The sizzling connection between him and Lexi is still there even after all this time…. But the timing of Lexi return isn’t the best…. Poor Zander just wants to do the right thing but is due to marry in just a few short weeks’ time….. He just doesn’t know what to do because he loves Lexi more….
Lexi’s love for Zander never wandered even with all this time apart….. All Lexi wants is him to forgive her for the way she handled everything….
This story is simply a must read……Ashley has done it again and produced a book you will fall in love with…. It has just the right amount of drama, love and laughter…. It had me laughing, crying and smiling…. The ending will warm your heart…..

I received an ARC in return for an honest review

I'm a huge fan of Ashley Beale's. I love her books and she did not disappoint with this book.. Each story she writes is different from the others and yet they all drag you in and make you connect with the characters. Forgive Me was no exception and it is my new favorite book of hers. The synopsis does not do the story justice there is so much more to this story and it is a MUST READ romance.

Forgive Me is Lexi's story. She hasn't had an easy life. She's currently a 24 year old with a nine year old son. Most of her family and the father of her son don't even know that Justin, her son, exists. But that's all about to change when she and Justin head back home to visit her sick mother. Forced to explain where she has been and what happened some are more accepting than others. One that's not so accepting is Zander, Justin's father and the love of Lexi's life. Zander is about to get married in two weeks and in walks Lexi, his first love that got away and his son he knew nothing about. Can Zander and her family and friends forgive Lexi and the decision she made and was forced to make? Will she be reunited with the love of her life? You'll have to read to find out.

This is a quick read that you can put down and need to keep reading to find out what happens next. Sometimes we don't realize the decisions we make don't only effect us but also effect everyone else involved just as much. We have to ask for forgiveness and hope that we can receive it and also be able to forgive ourselves. I highly recommend this book and all of Ashely's Beale's other books. Go get that one-click on!!

Well dang it....Ashley killed it again! I didn't think it could get any better, but she has blown me away again. This book is a long lost love story that made my belly flutter and also had me all teary eyed.

Lexi Bennett, the middle child of 5 kids, had a sad childhood. She felt unloved and uncared for. She had no friends until Zander Fields came along. Zander was the light she needed. They became the best of friends & always spent time together. However, things took a turn and she was forced to move away. Ten years later she is "sort of" forced back home to Texas where she thought no one really loved her. Little did she know the welcome she would get from most, would be loving. She doesn't show up alone though, she has her 9 year old son in tow. To see the shocked faces of everyone would be priceless. As her stay eventually comes to an end, Lexi must decide what she should do. What's best for her and her son. It's very heart breaking knowing she may decide to leave and go back home to Ohio even after all of the acceptance from her family.

There was some drama, the banter between some of the characters was awesome, there were many sad moments knowing she would've been accepted back home many years ago, the sex was sizzling and the happy moments had me grinning like a cheshire cat. I absolutely LOVED everything about this book, which made it very hard to put down. "Forgive Me" is definitely a MUST READ!! So add it to your TBR list now. :) Thank you Ashley for another AWESOME book!

Escape into my Reads Book Blog

I’m a big fan of surprise you’re a daddy romance books and Forgive Me provided me with my fix. This book is emotional and centred around family. It’s a second chance romance book with first loves Lexi and Zander forced apart in their teen years. Lexi was left dealing with an unplanned pregnancy whilst Zander had no clue as to where the girl disappeared to who owned his heart. There are family secrets, a wedding with a manipulative bride, drama, angst, regret, laugh out loud scenes, sexual tension and a pissed off father wanting answers from the girl he thought was dead. I absolutely loved Justin he was the sweetest kid wanting to get to know his father Zander, and his relationship with him was beautiful and touching. Lexi is an amazing loving mother so when she was forced to return home she knew she not only had to deal with her distant mother and father, her siblings but also the boy she loved from her past. The relationship between Lexi and Zander is frayed, full of hurt, anger, love, unspoken words and conflict of emotions as denial and memories clash, but the passion between them is real and I loved how Zander showed his alpha male side. Lexi got a bit on my nerves towards the end with her repeated words, and I really would have loved more of an epilogue then what we got otherwise I really enjoyed this book.

I have read every single one of Ashley books, and have loved them especially the Cassie Series... I was given the privilege to read this one before anyone else, that right i was the first ever to read it and helped with some ideas ;) And i told her that i think that by far this book is the BEST OF ALL!!! She has out done herself on this one and i was i could give this rating unlimited amount of stars....

So at first we get introduced to young Lexi and how she fell for Zander, just to have it all ripped from her, but what happens when you come back into someone life after 10 years and BAM you have to tell them what her secret is.... I feel so in love with Zander he is the cowboy that i wish we had in Texas.. and he is due to marry someone who well isn't what you think :) This book sent me into wanting and needing more, unlike most people i only got so many chapters here and there while she was writing and rereading it, i was constantly needing and wanting more, i know that will the actually book in hand i would probably not be able to put it down until i have it completely finished... So this a big MUST READ!!!!!! Did i mention Zander mmmmmmm OMG Zander Fields is my new man!!!!

Wow where to start. It's 2 am and I'm finishing this book. I started it earlier tonight and I couldn't put it down. This is an amazing book. Lexi is an independent girl that was thrown to the side most her life. She became pregnant at a very young age so her mom sent her to be with her grandma so she didn't have to deal with her. Lexi never fit in so once she found Zander she was in heaven. When her mom put her on the plane she never looked back until 10 years later when she had to come home because her mom is sick with cancer and only gives her a few months to live. Justin is now almost 10 and just meeting his dad for the first time. Zander is about to get married in a few weeks when he sees Lexi. He starts hanging out with justin and they hit it off great! Will Zander get married or will Lexi and him try again?

I really liked this book from the very first page and the quote got better by each chapter. Pretty meaningful!
Somewhere between this book, it was like a war of hate and love but it was still pretty much love, only little hate about her actions but they can't be explain or forgiven and somehow understood and more human.
yep, selfish, evil, cruel anyway human and loving. there were excusable in one way or other. she tried.
beside that I think, no, no thinking, I cried, just shed tears about how lonely she was but hopefully got her love until that day. and how wrecked she was trying to make amend, making worse or even living.
Anyway with all that and plus she was childish (comon she never got to be really one) it was more naivety more than anything, I couldn't stop myself from understanding and liking her.

It was good, a lot better than I thought it would be in the beginning! I did have trouble with following the scenes cause it didn't have break in between! It would finish a sentence of one scene and then the very next sentence was a new scene! With no break in between so it was hard to follow sometimes! But past that it was a good story of second chances and taking a chance and gamble on that second chance!

Lexi, I understood her anxiety over the whole Justin/Zander deal. She was a single teenage mom who didn't know any better and was scared. But as the story progress' you can tell she's still head over heels in love with Zander and I'm just glad with how it ended.

Till next time ~ Sweets Books

Forgive me is a 3.5 star read for me.I enjoyed the storyline. Some parts were a bit unbelievable but it's a story right? My main issue is with the timeline and how the story jumps.Towards the end I was really confused because Lexi had all these plans and I as the reader had no idea of them until it happened. The storyline jumped around a bit and sometimes it was confusing.I think if these things were fixed the book would be a five star read.In fact I know it would be.The ending felt a bit rushed as well.I also wanted Zander to man up,he had a role in this and he needed to be a man and not put it all on Lexi the entire time. However that being said I read the book and would read more by this author.

Every now and then, a book comes along that captures your heart and soul from the very first few pages. No matter what you do, it tugs you along, it brings happy tears, it brings sad moments, and you just don't want it to end.

Forgive Me is just that book. I loved meeting Lexi and her son Justin and feeling all the emotions she is dealing with as she returns home to her family. Reuniting with past love , spending time with old best friends and becoming a real family, you will not want to put this one down.

Secrets are revealed and feelings are hurt when the truths come out, but the end will leave you with a happy heart.

Absolutly loved this story. The author has done a fantastic job with this book.
I basically sat and read this in one sitting. Yes I was glued to it.
I admired Lexi so much in this story. Although she had it rough she pulled herself through it and remained strong. I felt for her as she went through so much heartache as revelations of her past was told to her.
Zander.... Wow I just loved him. His heart was broke years ago and all of a sudden his life is turned on an axel.
If your looking for a great standalone then I highly recommend this story.

I absolutely loved the story of Zander and Lexi. What they both had to go through to find one another again. All the secrets that were told about Lexi and then her finding out that Zander had moved on. But there was one thing that they both shared besides their love for one another, Justin.

This was a touching story of two young loves that never gave up on one another. This is one of my favorite books.

This book was a great read. Once I started reading it I couldn't manage to put it down. I love how it comes together and how the characters are in the stories. The plot line help enriched the characters in mind and really draws you in. I enjoyed the ups and downs with the stories and felt like I was experiencing what they were. I am so happy that justin got to know his dad and that Lexi was able to work out her issues. I would recommend this book to who ever wants to read it.
