Emma absolutely, definitely does not have a problem. So what if she likes her sex no-strings-attached? Working in a Soho lingerie boutique, Emma's attitude to sex is care-free as can be. But when Harry, her big, rough, fuck-buddy boss pushes for more than just a physical relationship, Emma's caught between running scared and confronting her demons.
This is a stand-alone novella, based on the characters of Untaming Lily Wilde.

Emma is a slutty slag who loves her friends with bennies status. She fools around with her boss, Harry. Harry is a gentleman who wants more from Emma. Harry, why do you want Emma? She's a bloody twat, just like she says.
While the writing of this book is fine, the characters are less than desirable. Ms. Fox does an excellent job of creating distinguishing characters. Emma and Cayley are vivid and in your face characters. This is a total personal preference from my part. I loathe females like them. I don't have anyone in my personal life like either one of these two psychos. They give humans let alone females a bad name. Really, don't let them introduce their DNA into the gene pool. It should be stricken forever. That's how much I loathed both these characters. And as all my friends know, a book where I despise the characters, the rating is LOW. 1.5 is this book's rating.
It was painful for me to get through this book because all I could see is the following between Emma and Cayley.
And really, it is justifiably so - because Cayley in her misguided "friendship" pulls a shit move. Babe, the ends do not always justify the means. In this case, despite the "letter", the intent of this intervention is quite suspect.
I've never had an intervention nor have I participated in one. But who in the right mind creates an intervention using all ex-boyfriends to gang up on a girl who doesn't do commitments?
Really, are there women out there like the ones in this book? I mean, seriously, can someone help me understand this? This seems like a really stressful way to live. And I like to get rid of stress.
I digress with my rant. The story writing is fine. The characters are memorable examples of how you don't want your daughters to turn out or females your sons should ever date let alone fuck. Recommended for those who feel bad about their life. This will give you a pick me up. Because you aren't dating a crazy woman like Emma or you aren't as crazy as Emma.
The Arrangement is about a young woman named Emma working in a kinky lingerie shop and has a "friends with benefits" with her boss, Harry that's been going on for 3 years. The arrangement mostly was Emma's idea since she doesn't do relationships and commitments. Well as for Harry, he wants something more substantial and wants a relationship with Emma, whereas Em is afraid to take that big leap although she has feelings for Harry.
What I liked about the novella You learn new British slang... For instance, a johnny is a condom. There is a HEA ending The best character in this book had to be Harry.. he knew what he wanted and didn't change his mind.
What didn't work for me: This short novella had some grammatical errors. I felt this book was jumping from one scene to another that didn't make the story-line flow. There were moments in the novella that I felt were so random..(ex. the phone call regarding Curtis...I don't even remember reading her dialing or calling Harry so that was totally unexpected)
I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
I really enjoyed this book. I wasn't quite sure what depth the author was going to pull off in sixty something pages but she managed to lead me through the full gamut of emotions by jumping straight into the story rather than a long intro. It really worked, we skip a bunch of their "relationship" but get to witness the pivotal stuff in depth and are privy to some smoking sex scenes.
I was surprised at her backstory and found the intervention to be a bit odd but kind of like it in retrospect as it shows how quirky her friends are and I can understand the eager need to please a first crush that can lead you to do something you regret. I found humor, aching sadness, lust, and hope in this book which is saying a lot for such a short book. The Britishisms were funny and as I've read a lot of "smut" by British authors lately, I'm starting to feel worldly and cultured because it's pretty much second nature to me now.
**I received an ARC copy for my review** Great story again from Olivia but a little short, this is the story of Emma, Lily’s friend from “Untaming Lily Wilde”.
If you have read the first book you will know that Emma works in a kinky lingerie shop. But know you will find out that she has a “friends with benefits relationship” with her boss Harry. She doesn’t do serious relationships and that is a big problem for Harry because he wants her to be his.
What Emma didn’t count on was an intervention of her friend Cayley she wants Emma to face facts that it’s time to face the demons of her past and that she is worldly to have her own love, because deep inside the really likes Harry, they have hot sex and they understand each other.
Is she going to jump in a more serious relationship with the man she loves or will she run again?
I received this Novella to read in exchange for an honest review. I really enjoyed the story as it was a quick and good read. There were maybe two typos in the whole story but it in no way deterred you from what you were reading. It was Hot but not overly so. There was just enough sexual content that you could still get wrapped up in the lives of the characters.
Lily didn't think she had a problem with her no-strings attached relationships but her friends did. Her current guy, Harry, is sexy and when she realizes that she is about to lose him because of her commitment issues, she faces the facts. Harry is adorable and I love how he gets all demanding and dominant in the end. It wraps up with a very sweet ending! I would read this author again!
The Arrangement is a novella about Emma from Untaming Lily Wilde. Emma and Harry have a friends with benefits arrangement, but now Harry wants a real relationship. Emma really does love Harry, but she doesn’t really do relationships because of something in her past.
This was one steamy novella. I did get kind of annoyed with the character of Cayley. I actually wanted to slap her, but she did have good intentions and it did lead Emma in the right direction.
I actually would have loved for this to have been a full novel, because I would have like to have known what was next for Emma and Harry.
A review copy was provided from the author in exchange for honest review.
This was a quick and lovely read. I'm excited to go into Untaming Lily Wilde next, just because I really like this authors writing style. The story was sad, then sweet, but engaging the entire time, and made you believe second chances really can exist. :)

My favorite quote - this just really rang true for me.
"But that's the thing about shame isn't it? The risk of admission, the terror of the people you love seeing you differently. I guess when it comes down to it, I'm just not the headstrong force of nature I like to think I am. I'm just a bumbling twenty-something, as lost and vulnerable as the next girl. Tough sometimes, but not - it seems - unbreakable. But that's OK, because for once in my life, I'm thinking I might be mend-able too."
First , I want to thanks Olívia for the copy. In this book , we know more about Emma, Lily's best friend . Is a short book, but areally hot one!!! Emma doesn't do real relationships, when things becomes serious, she finds herself sabotaging it! She has a friends with benefits relation with her boss Harry, but when he presses her for something more, she run... She really likes him, but to be with him , she has to face her demons from the past! With the help of her friends, Emma decides to take a chance , but will Harry give Emma a chance? I really like it, but it can be more longer, I adore Emma!
I received it in exchange for an honest review. The characters drew me in. I definitely enjoyed this book. I know it was just a novella but Harry and Em's story had depth. Em has poor self esteem (b/c of her nasty ass EX) but is an amazing person in her own right. I like Em's friends Lily and Cayley. I know Cayley is a busy body interfering in Em's relationships but it was for good reason. The sex is steamy and well if the male lead owned a sex shop why wouldn't it be??!! I will definitely put Ms. Fox's book on my "to read" list. I really enjoyed the characters and want to find out more about them.
Emma doesn't do relationships so anyone that she could be with long-term she works to push away ensuring that the relationship won't last. Harry is Emma's boss and she creates an arrangement with him for no-strings sex but when Harry pushes her to changes this relationship she does what she always does to sabotage their relationship. Cayley then creates an intervention with several of Emma's old boyfriends/flings which forces her to face her lifestyle causing her to realize what she wants with Harry is something real and long-term but is she too late. This is a short story but Olivia Fox delivers all the drama, sex and HEA you could want.
I received this free from the author in exchange for a honest review.
This short erotic novella featuring characters from Untaming Lily Wilde.
Emma and Harry are friends with benefits, however Harry wants more. Emma wants more too but she has a hard time convicing herself that is what she wants. She has convinced herself that she is no good at relationships.
This book is a short novella that should only take a couple of hours to read so do not expect a lot of detailed character development, but the sex was steamy and the ending was very sweet and romantic.
I received a copy from the author for my hones review, so her it is. This is a really good story. We find Emma in The Arrangement with her boss Harry. She might want more if she would just give herself a chance. After an intervention from her friend Cayley, Emma realizes that she has never been in a relationship and when things start to get serious, she ends it quickly. Can she let go and move forward with Harry? Can he forgive her for The Arrangement? He wants more and will he get it? The characters are from the book Untaming Lily Wilde, which I loved too. Great job Olivia Fox!
*I received this novella in exchange for an honest review. * I enjoyed reading this story. I like the quick and to the point aspect of it. The characters worked well with this novella. I love a great erotic story, and this one delivered. I also enjoyed how this novella has a good plot. Em and Harry have an arrangement that works, but they realize it needs adjusting. A good read to add to your tbr list.
The story is about a woman named Emma who is insecure in her relationships and has a commitment phobia. She knows that she has strong feelings for Harry, but she refuses to admit how deep they run. This is the story of her running and her friends helping her face reality and face the feelings that she has. Its a easy read and has a good plot and overall is a decent story, but it wouldn't be on my top list to recommend to all my friends.
I received this book from the author for an honest review. It was a great get to the point hot story. The author did a wonderful job of jumping into the storyline which was necessary considering the length of the story. I hope there is a second in the series so I can see what happens to the couple. Do they stay together? Do they keep the kinky store? I'm curious. Enjoyed it a lot.
I got this book from the author for an honest review!!!! Here it comes: Sexy and highly entertaining!!!! I read it in 3 hours!!! Funny, really hot in a sweet sexy way!! I loved it!!!!
Emma is a girl who is acts like a man when it comes to relationships. She's afraid to commit to anyone, she only gets serious with guys that bore her before she finally decides nope she can't do it. The only guys she really likes she pushes them away so hard that they eventually end it with her.
In THE ARRANGEMENT, Emma has finally met the one and is about to ruin it all because of her fear of commitment. She's been seeing her boss, Harry, for the better part of three years, and most of that exclusively. She's kept it pretty low key and mostly about sex. While out for drinks one night she finally crosses a line and pushes him too hard and she realizes she messed up. Throughout THE ARRANGMENT Emma is quite simply trying to not lose Harry, but first, she had to admit to herself that she wants to keep him in a more permanent way. Through the help of an overly pushy friend, Cayley, she does realize it.
She fights for Harry and they talk it out and he decides to keep her.
Overall, this story was well written and I enjoyed the writing style. However, I despised Emma. There was nothing about her personality that I liked and that is most of why this story only rated 3 stars for me.
I received this book in return for a review. This is a short story, and definitely a followup to another tale from what I can gather. The second characters seemed very developed compared to the heroine, Emma or Em.
I didn't like Em very much. She's a user, unkind and uncaring about her boyfriends, rude to her girlfriends, and as far as I can tell her only redeeming feature is that she's pretty. If she were a man, she'd be the bad hat. I did like her friends though: they seem fun. If I'm right and Lilly has a story, I'd like to read that. In this short, I enjoyed the chat but the sex was a bit mechanical in places. A 3.5/5.
The Arrangement is only a short read and therefore I believe only needs a short review without giving the whole thing away.
This novella is a steamy, dramatic read and pulls you in with a wide range of emotions and very likeable characters. It is fast paced as you would expect and I enjoyed the authors writing style.
Definitely a book to check out if you're looking for a fast and sexy read.
I really wanted to smack Emma. And I'm not a violent person. This type of character just makes me grate my teeth together. Harry is too patient, but I like that in a guy, someone who can put up with rages and emotional outbursts is cool. But he put up with too much. This relationship seemed too broken, to messed up from the beginning. One that started from a night of drunken agreement. I just didn't get it.
It's noted that this is a stand alone novella, but I felt I was missing a LOT of the story without reading the first.
This was a very quick read about Emma and her realization that an event from years past with an ass of a guy shaped all her future relationships with men. I think the hottest part for me was the telling of the event with the ass of a guy. The up against the wall kind of stuff between Emma and Harry was good but didn't really do it for me. As with most novellas all of the issues were resolved very quickly in order to have a HEA.
I received this as a free prize from a goodreads group. I had no expectations when I began and hadn't even read the blurb. What I found was a well written story about a young woman who must learn to open her eyes and see that her friend with benefits is really so much more. The story takes us through several ups and downs and manages to pack quite a lot of emotional upheaval in its 60 pages yet still manages to be somewhat humorous. Ienjoyed this book and would give it 3.5stars.
The Arrangement is short story about a woman named Emma who has a commitment phobia and is insecure in her relationships. The writer's style is frenetic and fast paced. The story even includes delicious, squirm-in-your-seat lovemaking sequences. The Arrangement is a fun, easy read with a decent plot and a happy ending, but it's not strong enough to be on my top list to recommend.
I won this book in a game in the Erotica Group. This was a short quick read with not a lot of story. The book is about woman named Emma who is insecure in her relationships and has a fear of commitment. Her friends try to help her face reality and her feelings. The sex scenes did have some steam and that's why I gave it 3 stars overall ok.
This short story reminds me of early Emma Holly or Karen E Smith, as it's got British characters and their odd slang. This is a good thing. It's a classic loves-me-hates-me story, but with enough twists and excellent sex to keep it interesting. Emma goes through a brief period of being TSTL, but her friends smack her out of it. Good fun all around.
