J. Joseph Wright penciled his first novel in the fourth grade, but, after failing to publish it, toiled away in obscurity until his freshman year in high school. Upon reading and, inexplicably, enjoying one of J.'s witless essays, his English Comp teacher, a man of questionable taste, recommended he write for the school newspaper. Soon J. was regaling the student body with a fantasy horror fiction column, gaining a robust early fan base, albeit from a captive school audience.

After college, J. left a highly lucrative career in television for an even more lucrative career as an author, and now writes Paranormal Romance, Horror, Science Fiction, and Fantasy.

I am sorry to say I did not enjoy this Book....at all. For such a short book it took me forever to read. I had to go back over and over in order to understand what I just read.
It all felt all so rushed and the constant I hate/ love you between Rev and Abby was getting a little annoying, only to then find them come together in the last 2 sentences!?!?
Nope this Book was. to for me

Ghost guard

This book has some good parts and then some ho hum parts. The storyline was there but I felt like something was missing. I liked the ending as it will lead to other books.

This book was definitely a different take on the ghost hunter/ghost story! The bickering between Abby and Rever was so entertaining. The other ghosts and characters were just as entertaining. I liked the whole world. And the feelings that show that both Abby and Rever are only "human"..... I'm definitely hoping there are more books in the series!

This was an interesting story, with ghosts being part of a team to save other ghosts from crimes against them mainly by humanity. There is an interesting relationship between the three ghosts and two humans on the team, which gets stranger when one of their assignments brings Rev, a ghost, back to life. The ending is not what I expected at first, but I liked it. My only pet peeve is having so many POVs in one story, but it was well written and broken up nicely so there was rarely confusion about who was speaking.

Ghostbusters meets Portlandia

Taking place in Portland, Oregon this group of paranormal ghost hunters are there to keep the ghosts and humans safe. Trouble starts when a immortal falls in love with the sexy ghost Rev and their boss decides to give their job to a group of military force. Lots of action, suspense, romance, and plenty to scratch your head over. Right fun, well written with well-developed characterization. Adult readers due to violence.
