I think BC was getting a little tired of writing when she penned this. It was an odd plotline and I just didn't feel the feels. It was about a debutante that overheard her Father planning to marry her off to an Earl. She then ignored the Earl and told him to ignore her. She warned him that her Father was trying to trap him in marriage. They danced around each other a couple of times and met in secret and then they fell in love, touched the stars and were welcomed into the eternal something?!?! I am so missing the Divine. Very boring read. Why Barbara why?! Bring back the divine!!!

Recommended for fans of Georgette Heyers. Barbara Cartland was a writer from the mid 20th century that writes Jane Austen-esque romances sans spice. They are very cozy reads.
