Monty Python and The Foley Grail

This is a fun book that takes a look behind how sounds of your favorite movies and video games are made.

As someone who has always loved foley work, this book gave me a lot of insight into the sound design industry.

I have been quite interested lately in behind the scenes of film and video games, and this was a great book.

Check it out if you like to "hear" the background of games and movies.

One particular notable game (not in the book) is the foley of the latest series in the God Of War video games. Really impressive foley - I think there are some videos on YouTube.

I wanted this book to have more information on techniques, but it has very little.

I had to read this for a specific college assignment, but it was a very fun read and read as leisure for me. That being said, it is a very specific interest book.
