Whilst the content of the book initially appears to be inclusive, I found it extremely biased, focusing primarily on British produced music.
There are hundreds of so called 'best' singles listed in the book of which I am confident nobody outside the UK would have even heard of.
The book sadly lacks even the most popular singles such as 'a-ha - Take On Me' without a single mention of any from some of the worlds most successful bands such as ACDC!
The Author needs to take a look at the diversity of great music produced outside his country and acknowledge what the rest of world calls 'Best Ever' singles!
