This book looked really promising, crafts, cooking and Christmas, with lovely photographs, and bright contemporary looking pages. Out of the the whole book, I would say only the recipe for chutney looks worth trying, but it's nothing ground-breaking. I couldn't find anything in here that isn't already in the most basic of craft book, a stocking, chocolate truffles, a home made cracker, a felt heart, lemonade.....

Kirstie really loves Christmas. ‘If aliens landed on my doorstep on Christmas Eve, I’d like them to take one look at my house and know that something big was being celebrated.’
I’ve had this book for a couple of years and previously flicked through it and identified a few projects ( needle-felt robin, marbled paper) I’d like to try (but still not got round to!). However, I thought I’d take a closer look and actually read what Kirstie has got to say about crafting and gifting – and actually I quite enjoyed it. It gave me some ideas beyond the step by step project instructions and has inspired me to make some gifts (if I ever get round to it!) .

Great book if your a Christmas but like me and like the whole make your own decorations it's been the last few years that it's seemed to have booked and this is the one book you should turn to a companion to the TV series that has been on for a few years now every Christmas time

I love this book! Got me well giddy about Christmas! I am crafty and will make things out of it but it's generally a lovely festive read with lots of tips and ideas to make your own special Christmas! Love her other books too!

Rather too late for this year, but it was a Christmas present, and I read it on Boxing Day. Some interesting ideas, but also some things I know I'll never make! Lots of pretty pictures though.
