I really liked this book because it shows the reader all the different instruments around the world and how there is music everywhere. I think it is great how every country and nationality is represented in this book. This type of book really opens kids eyes to a world they are not used to seeing.

In addition to a world map and a glossary, the back matter gives suggestions about how to incorporate music into the day through activities like making a tambourine, rattle, or harp. They also suggest joining a music group or attending concerts in the park.
