I really liked this book because it shows the reader all the different instruments around the world and how there is music everywhere. I think it is great how every country and nationality is represented in this book. This type of book really opens kids eyes to a world they are not used to seeing.
Vibrant photographs and short captions highlight children from all over the world as they sing, dance and play instruments in this joyous celebration of music. In addition to a world map and a glossary, the back matter gives suggestions about how to incorporate music into the day through activities like making a tambourine, rattle, or harp. They also suggest joining a music group or attending concerts in the park.
