I have just finished Kinky boots in one sitting as its yet another KD Grace book which I havent been able to put down for a second. What a brilliantly imaginative idea for book, I dont think many authors could combine paranormal and erotica without it becoming a cornfest, but KD has created yet another masterpiece of supernatural erotica. I absolutely loved it!!!.
All the three main characters were so relatable and easy to follow, we sit alongside Jill as she becomes the person she has always wanted to be confident and sexy and I loved the way KD gradually lets Finn and Jill fall in love with the 2 thousand year old lust demon in-between them.
The inexperienced Jill has her own desires and fantasies and Eleanor is going to help fulfil them, I loved how protective Finn becomes and how he cares for the both of them in completely different ways. Finn's job with the other 2 members of the Sole Alliance means they are responsible for the sexy demon Eleanors actions, this is a brilliantly creative twist to the story and I loved Meinrad the mega sexy hunk of a man supporting the story too. One particular part of the book uses rope play and is one of the many sexiest pieces in the book...phewey!!!
Sex scenes are not your average vanilla and includes threesomes of mmf/ff and a super hot m/m scene. It maybe a fun supernatural novella but it doesn't make the sex scenes any less hot, best read by yourself to completely lose yourself in these pages. KD has a knack of pulling us right into the heart of the plot where we can hear, see and imagine the scenes before us easily.
What makes Kinky Boots apart from hundreds of others is the way KD has added the sensitivity between the three of them, these scenes were not only rampant and wanting but tender and loving making the scenes between them so believable and all the more hot and sexy.
I loved the extra twist of danger and past history of Eleanor bringing the story together but Im not giving anymore away you really need to read this book. Its a fun, creative idea with a fab ending.
The storyline is another extremely well written book from the KD library; which now leads perfectly onto the final book coming very soon in the Lakeland heatwave trilogy another fantastic set of paranormal erotica and must have reads.

This is a charming story about Jill, a writer for an e-magazine, who feels virtually invisible. One night, Jill stumbles into a late night shoe store called “Kinky Boots,” run by a very desirable man, Finn, who sells her a pair of boots. From that night forward, Jill is saying and doing things she always wanted, but never felt brave enough, to do. Finn thinks he knows the reason for the change in Jill--she is possessed by a sexy demon, Eleanor. Indeed, Eleanor has taken up residency within Jill’s body, and Jill seems to like it, a lot. Finn assures her that Eleanor cannot make Jill do anything she really does not want to do, but he’ll protect her just in case things go to far. One of the things Jill wants is Finn, and he feels the same way about her. Eleanor doesn’t seem to mind as things heat up between Finn and Jill. However, Finn begins to worry that Eleanor is the real reason why Jill wants him. He also fears what will happen to Jill when Eleanor leaves her body. They have to take a chance to find out.

The premise of this book had me hooked before the first page was read. How could you turn up a pair of boots that are inhabited by a sexy demon and you get a sexy protector to keep you from major harm? That’s exactly what happens to Jill when the boots and the demon who inhabit them, Eleanor, come to an agreement. Jill will up her experience quotient, Eleanor gets to act on her impulses and Finn, well Finn is there to protect Jill from harm until Eleanor leaves on the full moon.
With incredibly well defined characters, fun secondary characters to enhance the story, a tiny bit of danger, Jill’s increasing confidence and daring, and the romance / love match that develops between Jill and Finn with Eleanor’s approval and a touch of complicity, this was a one-sitting page turning read.
The sex is hot, with an added touch of sweetness coming from the tender and loving additions to the sex scenes, particularly between the three main characters of Jill, Finn and Eleanor. But, this isn’t all just MFM action, there are hot scenes with just women and a really steamy M/M scene that sneaks in there as Eleanor is flexing her muscles so Jill gets the experiences of her life.
This is the second book I have read by K.D. Grace, and it will not be my last. With a sense of enjoyment of one another for all characters, in and out of the bedroom, tenderness and some truly sensual scenes that tug at emotional heartstrings, her smooth writing brings something for every reader.

Odd. Definitely not bad but odd nonetheless. I actually feel like I can't really say anything about it without giving it away but I'll give it a go. Jill is out at a bar with her sexually adventurous friend Vivie, who has disappeared. Jill decides to leave but as she's walking the shoes she's borrowed from Vivie are killing her feet & serendipitously she ends up in front of Kinky Boots (shoe store). She goes in & the guy puts her into a pair of boots. The attraction between them is off the charts & they end up dry humping on the floor of the store. The phone starts ringing, he goes to get it & starts having a heated conversation about an Eleanor at which point Jill sneaks out. She goes home, has a sexually charged dream involving another woman & wakes sort of transformed, if you will. The store clerk, Finn, is determined to find her again & he succeeds. Sexually chemistry abounds between them but is it just them or is there another influence?
It's certainly entertaining & not in the least what I was expecting. Writing's pretty good & the author certainly gets points for creativity. You do need you British decoder ring at times & I can't for the life of me figure out why this author decided to call a woman's vagina a 'pout'. What is that? Pouting is an action, not lady bits. It was most disconcerting, almost jarring, every single time I read it I made a face.

This is one sexy, sexy read. It's hard not to like a girl who embraces her wild side with the help of a lust demon and a hunky male witch. Jill goes from repressed to sex kitten in the space of one shoe buying spree. And it works. Finn and she have sparks. Finn and Eleanor have sparks. Eleanor and Jill have sparks. It was a sweet, sweet combustion of parts and trust and sexy times.
Lest you think this was all about sex, there's also a nice romance brewing between the three. Yes, the sex is a big part of their relationship -- with good reason seeing as how Eleanor thrives on sex -- but they also have these moments where they connect on a more than physical level. It's sweet without taking away from the sexy. I approve of that.
Short enough to read in one sitting but long enough to give you all the story you desire, the dynamic between all the players was fantastic and the trust that Jill gave Finn and Eleanor was well done.

What a wonderfully fun story. Yes it sounds a bit silly to hardcore readers that the books would be possessed but there is more to it than that and it turns out to be fun and light hearted. There is enough in the book to keep it gritty otherwise and to be honest the kinky boots keep it from becoming a bit over whelming with sadness.
My empathy and sympathy for Jill was running at 300% at the start of the book and in order not to give spoilers I can tell you that changes but I can't tell you how or why.
Suffice to say I gave a cheer at a few points and shed a tear at a couple of points too. I have read other K.D. Grace and Grace Marshall books and enjoyed them to the fullest. I enjoyed this one but it is definitely a completely different style from any of hers I have read so far. Fun and well worth a read.

Kinky Boots was different from other books in the Erotica genre I have read before. Jill Hart was quite inexperienced when it came to men but that soon changed when Eleanor a lust demon possessed her. I really enjoyed the plot of the book and how Jill not only became adventurous in the bedroom department but was more confidant too, she told people what she wanted and she got it.
It was written really well and I can’t wait to read another book written by KD Grace.
I would warn people that there is a same sex (m/m) encounter just in case that is not your thing.

A Wildly Inventive Plot with some silky smooth writing, Characters that are wild, vivid and entertaining and passion that is off the scale makes for a book that really did seem sizzle of the screen even the m/m bits were sexy and fun. The interplay between the characters is just right and that’s so hard to do, but it’s the progression and development that really bring this book to life, it’s a deeply powerful and rewarding read full of romance, joy, sex in spades and so much more.

This book was superb. Excellent writing, great plot, awesome characters, and fab sex. I loved all the characters and how they interacted together. Jill, Finn, Eleanor seemed to play off each other well. I even enjoyed Vivie, Meinrad and Chelsea. There was a scene between Meinrad, Finn, and Jill that had me unbearably aroused. Just a great book that I'd recommend to anyone.

Reading about feudal Europe, economics, or statistics research? This is the perfect antidote--without being patronizing or without plot. From the start, you're hit with the right type of language, so there's no mistaking you're reading erotica. From then on, you're made to wish you could also be possessed by a lust demon.

I honestly thought I would be reading the book version of the Broadway musical. I was VERY surprised when it turned out otherwise. That's what I get for picking books at random and not reading the blurb. But hell, I enjoyed it anyway. hahaha

A fabulously quirky, erotic story. When Jill stumbles into the fantastically named Kinky Boots shop, she has no idea that her new boots come with a little added extra. Eleanor is a lust demon who takes a shine to Jill, who in turn takes a shine to Finn, the owner of said establishment. Fun and frolics galore follow but is everything as sexily super as it first appears or is there a downside to inexperienced Jill's newfound lust for life and love? Steamy sex scenes, M/F and M/M and amazing writing make this a must-read.
